Budget 2026: Bumper Gains? Income Tax Relief to Educational Loans and EV Adoption, What Should The Common Man Expect From FM Nirmala Sitharaman, Check

Budget 2026

High Hopes from Union Budget 2026, As India looks ahead to the Union Budget 2026, expectations from Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman are running high. With inflation concerns, rising education costs, and a growing push toward green mobility, the common man is hoping for practical relief rather than symbolic announcements. From income tax tweaks to support for students and EV buyers, Budget 2026 could play a key role in shaping household finances in the coming year.

Income Tax Relief: More Money in Hand?

Income tax changes are expected to be the biggest talking point. The government may continue strengthening the new tax regime by simplifying slabs and possibly raising the basic exemption limit. Middle-class salaried taxpayers are looking for reduced tax liability and easier compliance.

Any rationalisation of slabs or enhancement of standard deductions could directly increase disposable income, offering relief amid rising living costs.

Education Loans: Support for Aspirational India

With higher education becoming increasingly expensive, education loan relief is another area under focus. Budget 2026 may consider expanding tax benefits on interest paid under existing provisions or improving repayment flexibility.

Such measures would benefit students and parents alike, especially those funding professional or overseas education through loans.

EV Adoption: Boosting Affordable Green Mobility

The push for electric vehicle adoption is expected to continue as part of India’s clean energy goals. Possible announcements include tax incentives for EV buyers, support for charging infrastructure, or benefits for domestic EV manufacturing.

For the common man, this could mean lower upfront costs and improved convenience, making EVs a viable everyday choice.

Beyond Sectors: Jobs, Inflation, and Growth

Apart from direct benefits, Budget 2026 may focus on job creation, MSME support, and infrastructure spending. These measures indirectly strengthen household income and economic stability.

Viral Video: Customer Salutes Deepender Goyal After Getting An Automated Call From Zomato To Pick Up His Delivery From Downstairs, Check Why?

Viral Video
Google

A viral video circulating on social media has sparked widespread praise for Zomato and its founder, Deepinder Goyal, after a customer received an automated call requesting him to pick up his food order from downstairs. The reason behind the call has resonated deeply with users online.

What the Viral Zomato Video Shows

In the video, the customer explains that he received an automated voice message from Zomato stating that the delivery rider was disabled and requesting the customer to come down to collect the order. The message was framed politely and focused on ensuring a smooth and safe delivery experience.

The moment struck a chord with viewers, who lauded Zomato’s thoughtful use of technology to support delivery partners with physical disabilities.

Why the Automated Call Matters

According to users reacting online, the automated call reflects a deeper intent: employee safety and dignity. Instead of forcing a disabled delivery rider to navigate stairs or difficult access points, Zomato’s system proactively adjusted the delivery process.

This small but impactful change highlights how food delivery platforms can use tech-driven solutions to accommodate diverse employee needs while maintaining service efficiency.

Customer Applauds Deepinder Goyal’s Leadership

The customer in the viral clip publicly saluted Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal, crediting the company’s leadership and tech team for building systems that prioritise delivery partner welfare.

Many social media users echoed this sentiment, calling the initiative “empathetic,” “inclusive,” and “a model for the gig economy.”

Social Media Reaction and Industry Impact

The viral video has triggered broader discussions around gig worker safety, accessibility, and responsible automation. Users praised Zomato for setting a benchmark in inclusivity, with some urging other delivery platforms to adopt similar practices.

Industry observers note that such features not only improve worker safety but also strengthen brand trust and customer loyalty.

Corporate Responsibility, Zomato Care For

Rather than a public campaign, this initiative appears embedded quietly into Zomato’s delivery workflow. The understated approach has amplified its impact, turning a routine food order into a viral moment of corporate responsibility.

Alcohol Isn’t Banned, Yet People Are Walking Away In Record Numbers – What’s The Reason? Check Video!

Alcohol Sales Drop Worldwide

Not long ago, drinking was almost automatic. A party meant alcohol. A celebration meant a toast. And saying no often invited awkward questions. But something has quietly changed. Alcohol is still legal, widely available, and deeply embedded in culture. Yet, fewer people are choosing it across the world. Especially the young. So what’s behind this surprising shift?

In a recent video shared on the YouTube channel of Firstpost, anchor Palki Sharma breaks down how alcohol may be entering a phase similar to what cigarettes once faced (not a ban, but a behavioural exit).

From Normal To Questioned: Is Alcohol Losing Its Grip?

Palki begins by drawing a sharp comparison with smoking. There was a time when cigarettes were everywhere. Doctors and athletes smoked. Even flights had smoking sections. If you didn’t smoke, you were the odd one out. Then science stepped in, cancer data grew, awareness campaigns followed and smoking slowly went from COOL to DANGEROUS.

Now, a similar question is being asked about alcohol.

Globally, alcohol sales are slowing. In 2025, overall sales dipped by 1%. Wine took the biggest hit, falling by 2.4%. In fact, global wine consumption is now at its lowest level since 1961. Even spirits, once considered recession-proof, are losing pace. These numbers may look small, but for an industry that grew steadily for decades, the shift is significant.

Reason Behind The Drop In Sales

One of the biggest reasons behind this change is Gen Z. On average, Gen Z drinks 20% less than millennials. Many are choosing to avoid alcohol completely. Awareness plays a big role here. The WHO clearly states that no amount of alcohol is good for the body. Not even that “healthy” glass of wine. For all its polished branding, wine is losing credibility with younger audiences.

Social habits are changing too. Drinking is no longer central to hanging out. Many people now prioritise fitness, mental clarity, and better sleep over late-night indulgence and hangovers. Calorie counting and wellness goals are replacing binge culture.

Another major factor is choice. The non-alcoholic beverage market is booming. Valued at $923 million in 2020, it could cross $1.7 trillion by 2028. Non-alcoholic beer is on track to become the world’s second-largest beer category. Add to this the rise of marijuana, now legal for recreational use in nearly half of US states, and consumption patterns are clearly shifting.

Money also matters. Inflation has made everything expensive, from rent to food. Costly cocktails are easier to skip. On top of that, people are socialising less. In the US, time spent with friends dropped from nearly 30 hours a month in 2003 to just about 10 hours in 2019. Less socialising naturally means less drinking.

Will Alcohol Become The New Cigarette?

The alcohol industry sees the trend and is adapting. Zero-alcohol beers, alcohol-free spirits and expanded mocktail menus are now common. “Sober curious” has even become a market category.

Still, experts don’t believe alcohol will fully follow cigarettes. Every generation tends to drink more as it ages. Plus, alcohol holds deep cultural and emotional space (tied to weddings, festivals, rituals and traditions that go back centuries). Cigarettes never had that.

But something important has changed. Drinking is no longer a rite of passage for Gen Z. It’s no longer social currency. And that quiet shift may be the most powerful change of all.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 48

After earning Rs 26.35 crore in its sixth week, Dhurandhar began week seven on a solid note. The film collected Rs 1.75 crore on Friday. Collections jumped over the weekend, with Rs 3 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.75 crore on Sunday. These numbers clearly show that audiences are still turning up, even after more than 40 days in theatres.

On Wednesday (day 48), collections dipped slightly, with Rs 1.15 crore recorded till evening. Despite the drop, Dhurandhar continued to outperform newer releases at the box office.

The total Dhurandhar box office collection now stands at Rs 829.40 crore net in India. Even in its seventh week, the film earned much more than recent releases like Happy Patel and Rahu Ketu. Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Breaks Seventh-Week Record

With two days still left in the week, Dhurandhar has already broken the all-time seventh-week box office record. The previous record was held by Stree 2, which had collected Rs 9.35 crore in its seventh week. T

What makes the run even more remarkable is the film’s slow start. Dhurandhar ranked only 12th among the biggest opening weeks. However, it quickly turned the tables. The film topped the charts in its second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth weeks. Once week seven ends, it is expected to lead the chart as well, surpassing Stree 2, Chhaava and Pushpa 2: The Rule.

In terms of lifetime performance, Dhurandhar has firmly secured its status as an All-Time Blockbuster. The India net collection stands at Rs 829.4 crore, while the India gross has reached Rs 995 crore. Overseas markets have also responded strongly, adding Rs 294 crore. This takes the worldwide total to an impressive Rs 1289 crore.

The film still has a few days to hold its ground before Border 2 arrives and takes over major screens. Advance bookings for Dhurandhar remain steady, suggesting that audience interest has not faded yet.

About The Film And Upcoming Sequel

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a high-octane spy thriller starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna. The film was initially planned as a single feature but was later expanded into a two-part story due to its layered narrative.

Released on December 5 (2025), Dhurandhar went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The sequel, Dhurandhar Part 2 – The Revenge, is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. The film is currently in post-production, with the trailer expected by late February.

Panchayat Season 5: Jitendra Kumar Starrer Rural Political Satire Just Months Away, Check Expected Release Date And Filming Updates!

Panchayat Season 5 Release Date

Amazon Prime Video had officially greenlit Panchayat Season 5 following the massive success of the fourth season. The streaming platform shared a teaser poster on social media with the tagline – “Hi 5 – Phulera wapas aane ki taiyyaari shuru kar lijiye.” Fans of the rural political satire are excited for the next chapter in Phulera’s story since then.

Panchayat Season 5 Release Date

While an official release date has not been confirmed, sources suggest the new season will premiere in 2026 only, likely between May and July. Actress Sanvikaa (who plays Rinki) had hinted that the show may launch around May or June if production stays on schedule. According to E Times, there are reports that Panchayat Season 5 could stream in July 2026, though Amazon Prime Video has not yet confirmed this.

Production is progressing steadily. More than half of the filming was reportedly completed during Season 4, and post-production is now underway. The official release date is expected to be announced in the coming months. In the meantime, fans can rewatch all four previous seasons on Amazon Prime Video to catch up before the new season arrives.

What Will Season 5 Focus On?

Season 5 will continue from the dramatic ending of Season 4, where Kranti Devi defeated Manju Devi to become Phulera’s new Pradhan. This change in leadership is expected to create fresh challenges and conflicts, particularly for Abhishek and the former Pradhan’s family.

A key storyline will focus on Jitendra Kumar aka Abhishek’s future. After clearing his CAT exam, he faces a tough choice: pursue a corporate career in the city or stay in the village to honour his emotional ties to Phulera and its residents. His relationship with Rinki will also influence his decision. The new season is teased to resolve past mysteries, including the identity of the person responsible for shooting Pradhan Ji. Writer Chandan Kumar promises that the script will maintain the grounded, realistic tone fans love, while exploring higher stakes in the village.

Another major plot thread will revolve around the deputy headship of Phulera. After Kranti Devi’s election win, a fresh controversy has emerged over who will take the role of deputy head (Vinod or Madhav). This power struggle is expected to be central to the story.

Just like previous seasons, Panchayat Season 5 will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Fans can look forward to returning to Phulera soon.

Border 2 Advance Booking Soars Close To 2 Lakh, Can Sunny Deol Starrer Beat Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan As Highest Grosser During Republic Day Weekend?

Border 2 Advance Booking - Sunny Deol

Border 2 Advance Booking: Sunny Deol starrer Border 2 is creating a lot of buzz ahead of its Republic Day 2026 weekend release. The patriotic action-drama (a sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 classic Border) has already recorded impressive advance bookings. Fans are eager to watch the multi-front war drama, and ticket sales show strong anticipation.

By today morning, the advance booking in Hindi 2D version sold around 1,82,737 tickets, grossing approximately Rs 5.85 crore across 13,737 shows. The 4DX format contributed Rs 26,724 from 56 tickets, with an average ticket price of Rs 518, while Dolby Cinema screenings had recorded no sales. Including block bookings, the film’s total advance gross rose to over Rs 10.21 crore.

Border 2 Advance Booking: Can It Beat Pathaan?

The strong advance sales set Border 2 up for a major opening. While it is expected to be one of 2026’s biggest releases, it will compete with previous Republic Day hits like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan (which collected Rs 58 crore) and Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter (which earned Rs 41.2 crore). Other top releases include Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat (Rs 32 crore), Raees (Rs 26.3 crore) and Jai Ho (Rs 26.25 crore).

For the unversed, Pathaan sold 10.8 lakh tickets across all languages, grossing around Rs 32 crore. Hindi-only pre-sales accounted for Rs 31.2 crore. Although Border 2 trails behind Pathaan, its patriotic theme and star-studded cast could make a strong impact during the Republic Day weekend.

Sunny Deol Aims To Rewrite Box Office Records

Sunny Deol is no stranger to record-breaking openings. His 2023 release Gadar 2 earned Rs 40.1 crore on Day 1 and went on to collect Rs 525.7 crore in India and Rs 686 crore worldwide. With Border 2, he hopes to deliver another blockbuster while honouring India’s armed forces.

Set against the 1971 India-Pakistan War, the film is directed by Anurag Singh (Kesari) and expands the original story to cover the Army, Air Force and Navy. It highlights key historic battles, including the Battle of Basantar, the Battle of Poonch and the defence of INS Khukri. The film showcases the bravery and sacrifices of Indian soldiers across land, air, and sea.

The cast includes Sunny Deol as Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler, Varun Dhawan as Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, Diljit Dosanjh as Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon and Ahan Shetty as Lt Cdr MS Rawat. Supporting roles feature Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana, and Anya Singh. Filming took place at real military locations like INS Vikrant and other cantonments to ensure authenticity.

Produced by T-Series and JP Films, Border 2 is one of the most expensive war films in Indian cinema, with a budget between Rs 150–250 crore. Sunny Deol reportedly commands a fee of Rs 50 crore. The CBFC cleared the film with a U/A 13+ certificate, making only minor visual edits. The final runtime is 3 hours and 19 minutes (199 minutes). Border 2 will release worldwide on January 23.

Greenland Acquisition Dispute: Donald Trump’s Flip Flop Continues, Reasons For Stunning U-Turn on Tariffs and Military Force Explained

Greenland Acquisition Dispute
Google

Greenland Acquisition Dispute: Trump’s Greenland Push Returns to Global Spotlight. The long-running Greenland acquisition dispute has resurfaced after former US President Donald Trump appeared to soften his earlier hardline stance involving tariffs and even hints of military pressure. Once dismissed as rhetoric, Trump’s renewed comments — and subsequent walk-backs — have reignited debate over US intentions toward the strategically vital Arctic territory controlled by Denmark.

The apparent U-turn has left allies and analysts questioning what prompted the shift.

From Aggressive Posturing to Strategic Silence

During his earlier remarks on Greenland, Trump had floated aggressive economic measures, including tariffs on Danish goods, and made controversial comments that some interpreted as veiled military threats. These statements drew sharp criticism from European leaders and NATO partners, who stressed Greenland’s sovereignty and Denmark’s status as a key US ally.

More recently, Trump’s tone has noticeably changed. References to tariffs and force have faded, replaced by vague language about “strategic interests” and “mutual benefit,” suggesting a recalibration rather than outright abandonment of the idea.

Why Did Trump Reverse Course?

Several factors explain the stunning shift.

  • First, diplomatic backlash played a role. Denmark and the European Union made it clear that economic coercion would strain transatlantic ties.
  • Second, military experts warned that any force-based approach would undermine US credibility in the Arctic, where cooperation is essential amid growing Russian and Chinese activity.

Domestic considerations also matter. Trade wars and foreign military commitments remain politically sensitive, making confrontational policies harder to justify without clear gains.

The Arctic’s Strategic Importance Remains Unchanged

Despite the softened rhetoric, Greenland’s value has not diminished. Rich in rare earth minerals and located along critical Arctic shipping routes, the island remains central to US security planning. Washington continues to maintain military installations there, underscoring long-term strategic interest without overt acquisition attempts.

This quieter approach reflects a preference for influence through diplomacy rather than disruption.

What This Means for US–Europe Relations

Trump’s flip-flop highlights the limits of unilateral pressure when dealing with allies. While the idea of acquiring Greenland captured headlines, the retreat from tariffs and military language suggests recognition that cooperation, not confrontation, is the more viable path.

India US Trade Deal: Breaking Barriers? Donald Trump Calls PM Modi ‘Fantastic,’ Drops Hints at Good Deal, Should We Rely

India US Trade Deal

Trump Calls PM Modi ‘Fantastic,’ Signals Warmer Trade Ties. Former US President Donald Trump has once again stirred global attention by calling Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi “fantastic” and hinting at a possible India–US trade deal. The remarks, made during a recent public interaction, come at a time when trade relations between the two democracies remain complex but strategically important. While the praise sounds promising, it raises a critical question: should India rely on political goodwill or wait for concrete policy action?

What Trump’s Statement Really Means for India–US Trade

Trump’s comments suggest a willingness to revisit stalled trade negotiations that have long faced hurdles such as tariffs, market access, and regulatory barriers. During his presidency, India and the US engaged in multiple rounds of talks, but a limited trade deal never fully materialised. His renewed optimism indicates that trade could again become a key diplomatic tool, especially amid shifting global supply chains.

However, experts note that Trump’s transactional approach to trade often prioritises American interests first. While positive rhetoric helps market sentiment, it does not automatically translate into reduced tariffs or expanded access for Indian exports.

Key Barriers Still Blocking a Strong Trade Deal

Despite warm words, several issues remain unresolved. These include US concerns over India’s import duties, data localisation norms, and agricultural market access. On the Indian side, visa restrictions, technology transfer, and protection of domestic industries remain sensitive topics.

Without clear policy signals, these structural challenges continue to limit the scope of a comprehensive India–US trade agreement.

Should India Rely on Promises or Push for Policy Clarity?

India’s trade strategy has increasingly focused on long-term stability rather than short-term political assurances. While Trump’s praise for PM Modi strengthens diplomatic optics, policymakers are likely to wait for written commitments and measurable outcomes before recalibrating trade expectations.

Analysts suggest India should use this moment to push for sector-specific gains in manufacturing, defence, and technology rather than banking on broad promises.

The India–US trade relationship remains one of the most consequential global partnerships. Trump’s positive tone may reopen dialogue, but real progress will depend on negotiations, not narratives.

O Romeo: Vishal Bhardwaj Reacts To Fallout Rumours With Shahid Kapoor, Reveals Why Sajid Nadiadwala Said ‘Mere Izzat Ke Liye Aisa Mat Kijiye…’

O Romeo Trailer Launch Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj

For years, rumours of a rift between Shahid Kapoor and director Vishal Bhardwaj have followed their successful collaborations. From Kaminey to Haider, their work together has been widely admired. However, speculation about tension between the two never completely went away. Now, Vishal Bhardwaj has finally reacted to these rumours. He did so with humour and honesty while promoting his upcoming film O Romeo. The director addressed the topic at the film’s trailer launch in Mumbai on Wednesday.

O Romeo stars Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. It marks yet another collaboration between Vishal and Shahid. During his interaction with the media, Vishal made it clear that the rumours do not reflect reality.

Vishal Bhardwaj REACTS To Rumours Of Rift With Shahid Kapoor

Talking about how people view his working relationship with Shahid, Vishal joked about his own reputation on set. He said, “Sorry, but main ek baat bolna chahunga. Mujhe jhijhak aa rahi hai, but main yeh kahani ke liye bolna chahunga ke mujhe ab tak 9 National Awards mile hain. Mere directors friends mujhe chedhte hain ke mujhe 10th wala milma chaiyeh ke tumne Shahid Kapoor ke saath 4 filmein ki hain (I’m hesitating to share this, but I have to for the story. I’ve won nine National Awards so far. It may sound like I’m being arrogant about my achievements, but this context is important. My director friends often joke with me that I should win my tenth National Award just for working with Shahid on four films).”

Instead of blaming Shahid, he described himself as a challenging director. He added, “Main kitna difficult aadmi hun woh Shahid janta hai. Woh mere passive aggression ko samjhta hai. I am a very difficult man to work with. I think Shahid ko ek National Award milna chaiyeh mere saath 4 filmein karne ke liye (But they don’t know how difficult a person I’m to work with. Only Shahid knows this. He understands my passive aggression. I think Shahid should win a National Award for working with me on four films).”

With these remarks, Vishal dismissed rumours of a rift and highlighted the trust and understanding he shares with Shahid.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s Faith In O Romeo

Vishal Bhardwaj also spoke about producer Sajid Nadiadwala and his strong belief in O Romeo. He shared how Sajid often pushed back when creative choices could affect perception.

Recalling one such moment, Vishal said, “He went all out. There were times when I would suggest placing an item song at a particular point in the film. He would reply – Nahin. Wahan pe rakhoge toh log bolenge ki Sajid Nadiadwala ne wahan gaana rakhwa diya hai. Toh kam se kam aap meri izzat ke liye aisa mat kijiye (laughs).”

He added, “Humne ek rupaye mein 5 rupaye ki film banani ki koshish ki hai. Our vision kept increasing, not because of me but Sajid Bhai. I suggested shooting in Georgia as it would be cheaper. He said – Phir toh mazaa hi nahin aayega. Why don’t we shoot in Portugal or Spain? When I remarked that ‘Paise zyada lagenge’, he replied, ‘Aap ke paise lagenge kya?’ Yeh film jitni budget pe bani hai, utni haisiyat nahin hai meri as a director. But Sajid Bhai had conviction in me and the project.”

For the unversed, O Romeo is scheduled to release in cinemas on February 13.

Donald Trump has always been at the center of controversies, but his global stage remarks during the recent Davos conference have once more sparked an international debate. The US president, who has always spoken his mind, was quoted to have made harsh comments about Greenland, and by doing so, he reaffirmed his belief that the American power is always bigger than the diplomatic restraint.

Davos Speech That Raised Eyebrows Worldwide

Donald Trump made his presence at the forum known through an incredibly combative attitude which was quite out of place in the forum supposedly dedicated to dialogue and cooperation. He sent the message of power and intimidation instead of engaging in diplomacy, and his comments about Greenland were interpreted more as a reiteration of the threat than a gesture of peace.

Greenland: Strategy Over Sovereignty?

The strategic value of Greenland can hardly be overemphasized; it is a matter of military placement and the accessibility of the Arctic resources. Trump’s utterances have emphasized the same notion that the major powers’ decisions are moved by geopolitics rather than by territory.

“America First” on a Global Stage

Trump’s statements at the World Economic Forum in Davos were consistent with his “America First” policy. By asserting that no country is capable of disregarding the US, he once more placed the world in a situation where economic power, military might, and political control decide the outcome of diplomacy.

Global Reaction: Shock, Criticism, and Concern

The international community was shocked and expressed criticism, grouping the comments as unnecessary, provocative, and destabilizing. The diplomats even pointed out that using such a wording could lead to the wearing of ties and the loss of trust among allies who are already in a very fragile position in terms of the cooperation of the world.

Varanasi SS Rajamouli: The internet is buzzing with excitement, fans are analyzing every single moment, and cinephiles are constantly discussing it.

A Teaser That Tells Little Yet Promises Much

The teaser just released reveals nothing significant about the plot but still makes a big impact. Delivering across-the-board visuals, mythic connotations, and a gargantuan setup, the teaser implies that Varanasi is not merely an action film but a lavish movie experience steeped in Indian culture and worldwide, narrating something SS Rajamouli is famed for.

Mahesh Babu Unveiled in an Unprecedented Avatar

The actor Mahesh Babu has been the subject of much discussion due to his new look. The teaser, however, points towards a rugged, intense, and thoroughly layered character that is quite the opposite of his usually stylish image.

Priyanka Chopra’s Return to Indian Cinema Creates Buzz

Adding to the tension is Priyanka Chopra, whose return to Indian cinema has enthused fans across the country. Although the teaser only offers subtle hints, her appearance suggests a character who is strong and meaningful, rather than just decorative.

Why the Title ‘Varanasi’ Has Made People Curious?

The title Varanasi, reportedly the working title, has sparked significant speculation. Being one of the oldest living cities of the world, Varanasi is a metaphor of spirituality, destruction, rebirth, and eternity. The spectators are guessing that the film might venture in themes relating to Indian mythology, ancient civilizations, or a deep philosophical conflict between the forces of light and darkness, all this set in a modern cinematic form.

Has the Release Date Finally Been Set?

This is the question everybody is asking. The teaser suggests a Ram Navami 2027 release, leading fans to believe the filmmakers have carefully chosen a symbolic and strategic release window.

Anurag Dhanda Raises Voice for the Needy from Haryana to Gujarat

The growing influence of the Aam Aadmi Party from Haryana to Gujarat is also reflected in recent survey findings from Gujarat, which indicate an expanding support base. Party leaders attribute this momentum to the continuous grassroots work of AAP’s cadre, who are actively spreading the party’s ideology at the ground level. Anurag Dhanda remains a prominent part of this cadre, amplifying the voices of the needy across regions.

Voice for Women, Farmers and Students

Anurag Dhanda has repeatedly spoken in favour of women, farmers, students and other vulnerable sections. His interventions have resonated strongly with affected communities, resulting in increased public engagement with the Aam Aadmi Party. Political observers note that this sustained advocacy is helping the party consolidate its position beyond its traditional strongholds.

In Haryana, Dhanda had raised serious allegations regarding irregularities in the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana, demanding justice for women deprived of their rightful benefits. He urged the administration to include eligible women under the scheme to ensure economic empowerment and dignity.

Raising Gujarat Issues at the National Level

In Gujarat, Anurag Dhanda has been vocal about farmers’ issues and tribal welfare. He has accused the state government of misusing funds reserved for tribal development and has highlighted cases of alleged injustice faced by farmers. Through press conferences and public statements, Dhanda has consistently questioned governance failures, positioning AAP as an alternative political force in the state.

Strengthening Party Credibility Through Ideology

The issues raised by Anurag Dhanda underline the core ideology of the Aam Aadmi Party, which focuses on justice for the oppressed and accountability in governance. His advocacy for farmers, students, women and traders reflects the party’s broader commitment to inclusive development.

As AAP’s ideology continues to spread from Haryana to Gujarat, public trust in the party appears to be growing. Political analysts believe this grassroots connect and issue-based politics could yield positive electoral outcomes for the party in the near future.

Cabinet Extends Atal Pension Yojana Till FY31, Government Funding Support to Continue

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the extension of the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) till FY 2030–31, along with the continuation of government funding support for outreach, developmental and gap-funding requirements. The decision was confirmed through an official government statement.

Cabinet Extends Atal Pension Yojana Till FY31

The move is aimed at strengthening old-age income security for workers in the unorganised sector, while also deepening financial inclusion across India. The Cabinet noted that the continuation of the scheme will help millions of low-income workers secure a stable pension after retirement.

Focus on Awareness and Capacity Building

As part of the approval, the Centre will continue to provide financial support for awareness campaigns, promotional activities, and capacity-building initiatives. These efforts are intended to expand the reach of the Atal Pension Yojana among unorganised workers, daily wage earners, and individuals with irregular income patterns who remain outside formal social security systems.

Officials said strengthening outreach is critical to increasing enrolment and ensuring that eligible beneficiaries fully understand the long-term benefits of pension planning.

Gap Funding to Ensure Sustainability

The Cabinet also approved the continuation of gap funding support to address viability concerns and ensure the long-term sustainability of the pension scheme. This funding mechanism helps maintain the financial health of APY while ensuring that guaranteed pension payouts remain secure for subscribers.

According to the government, this step will further enhance confidence among contributors and protect their retirement income.

Supporting Viksit Bharat @2047 Vision

The Centre said the extension of APY aligns with India’s broader goal of building a “pensioned society” under the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision. By securing old-age income for informal sector workers, the government aims to reduce financial vulnerability among senior citizens and promote inclusive economic growth.

About Atal Pension Yojana

Launched on May 9, 2015, the Atal Pension Yojana was designed to provide assured pension benefits to workers in the unorganised sector. Subscribers can receive a guaranteed monthly pension ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹5,000, depending on their contribution and age of enrolment.

Over the years, APY has emerged as a key pillar of India’s social security framework, offering financial stability and dignity to millions of workers after retirement.
