The situation became serious when Monalisa Bhosle’s family opposed the relationship. On Wednesday, the couple went to the Thampanoor police station in Thiruvananthapuram and asked for protection. According to reports, her father tried to take her back to Madhya Pradesh against her wishes.

Police officials told the family that Monalisa Bhosle is an adult and has the right to decide whom she wants to marry. However, her father, Jaisingh Bhonsle, claimed that she was brought to Kerala in the name of acting opportunities and may have been influenced.

Her uncle also shared his concerns with reporters. He said the family is not well educated and fears that she may have been affected by “black magic”. This statement quickly spread online along with the viral video clips of the couple.

Officials said that starting April, Anganwadi centres across the state will introduce a recipe-based supplementary nutrition system, under which beneficiaries will receive balanced and nutritious meals prepared according to scientifically designed recipes.

With this initiative, Uttar Pradesh is set to become the first state in India to implement a recipe-based supplementary nutrition programme at Anganwadi centres.

To enhance transparency in the distribution of nutrition supplies, the government will also introduce a Face Recognition System (FRS) at Anganwadi centres. The system is expected to ensure that food distribution reaches the intended beneficiaries and reduces irregularities.

Officials said the approved funds will also support the viability gap funding required for the supply of high-quality Take Home Ration, helping ensure uninterrupted nutrition services for beneficiaries.

With the latest action, the total number of drug smugglers arrested since the launch of the campaign has reached 53,119, highlighting the scale of the ongoing anti-drug operations.

The anti-drug campaign is being carried out under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann, Chief Minister of Punjab, with law enforcement agencies intensifying efforts to curb drug trafficking and encourage rehabilitation for those struggling with substance abuse.

Officials added that the state police are adopting a multi-pronged strategy that includes strict enforcement, intelligence-based raids, and rehabilitation initiatives to tackle the drug menace.

Authorities also urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies by reporting suspicious activities related to drug trafficking, emphasizing that public participation is crucial in making the campaign more effective.

However, the concerts and festival events will still go ahead with other performers (including Himesh Reshammiya and Talwiinder) who were already part of the line-up.

Flipperachi gained massive attention in India after his track FA9LA became a social media sensation. The song was used in the film Dhurandhar and quickly went viral on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, with thousands of fans recreating the video without even knowing the lyrics. His sudden popularity led to the announcement of his first live performances in India, which fans were looking forward to.

However, just days before the scheduled shows, organisers confirmed that the rapper will not be able to travel due to the current situation in the Middle East.

The update was shared through the official Instagram page of Saregama, which informed fans about the sudden change in plans. The statement read, “In the light of the current situation in Middle East and Bahrain, Flipperachi will not be able to perform at UN40 this weekend. While we were excited to have him on the lineup, the circumstances make it difficult for him to travel at this time. We continue to look forward to an amazing weekend of performances and unforgettable moments at UN40.”

According to booking platforms, the Mumbai concert scheduled for March 13 at Phoenix Marketcity has been marked as cancelled. The Bengaluru appearance at the UN40 Music & Beyond Festival, planned for March 14–15, will also not include Flipperachi anymore.

Despite his absence, the festival itself has not been cancelled. Performances by Himesh Reshammiya and Talwiinder will take place as planned, and organisers have confirmed that the event will continue with the remaining artists.

Flipperachi (whose real name is Hussam Assem) is a 37-year-old rapper from Bahrain. He has been part of the Arab hip-hop scene for nearly two decades and is known for performing in Arabic despite the dominance of English rap in the global music industry.

His popularity in India grew unexpectedly after the song FA9LA was featured during Akshaye Khanna’s entry scene in Dhurandhar. The Union Government has announced that their top priority is to ensure sufficient fuel and gas supplies for domestic consumers. It was also added that a series of steps have been undertaken to make sure that there is uninterrupted availability of LPG cylinders across India.

The Union Government also stated that strict mechanisms have been put in place for preventing black marketing and hoarding of LPG cylinders and other forms of fuel.

The government also added that there would be no hike in the prices of diesel and petrol in the country despite the ongoing Iran Israel USA war.

Increased Sourcing Of Gas & Oil

India has also increased sourcing of gas and oil from regions outside the Iran-controlled Strait of Hormuz. Moreover, India got successful in its talks with Iran to permit India-flagged ships to sail across the Strait of Hormuz.

Hoarding of essential items like LPG cylinders could attract imprisonment of a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 7 years and fines, or both, under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. In recent days, many reports of theft, black marketing and illegal storage of LPG cylinders have been reported across the country as mass-scale concerns over supply disruptions continue to hit domestic as well as commercial LPG users.

The Union Government recently announced that domestic LPG users would be given a priority over commercial LPG users. This has resulted in closure of many small eateries, hotels and restaurants across the country. Many commercial establishments have complained that they are finding it difficult to keep their operations going and have requested the Union Government to consider their plight.

A few seconds later, the woman lifts the scooty’s seat to open its storage compartment that are usually used to store items like small bags, documents, personal belongings and helmets. The baby lies quietly while the woman adjusts the position of the child inside the compartment.

After this, the woman lowers down the scooty seat to shut down the storage compartment. The woman then adjusts the scooty handle and rides away from the house with the young child still placed inside the scooty’s closed storage box.

About The Film

Bhooth Bangla is a horror-comedy directed by Priyadarshan and marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after many years. The film is set to release in theatres on April 10, 2026.

The story takes place in the town of Mangalpur, where Akshay Kumar’s character inherits a huge palace. Later, he finds out that the place is haunted by a dangerous spirit called Vadhusur, who is believed to kill anyone who tries to get married there.

Amroha Viral Video: Amroha’s Superintendent of Police has ordered an investigation against a sub-inspector after he was caught beating a street vendor over non-payment of coconut juice money.

In Amroha’s Hasanpur, the police inspector got enraged after a street vendor asked for coconut water money. Sub-Inspector Isham Singh, the angry cop, slapped the vendor. Singh, who was posted at the Hasanpur bus stand intersection and in charge of the Critical Corridor Team, drank two coconut juice glasses. When asked for money, the sub-inspector got angry and threatened to remove the vendor’s stall.

Sagar, the street vendor, claimed that the sub-inspector forcibly took coconuts from this cart. He then ordered them to be loaded into a vehicle of the state police. The entire incident was filmed by bystanders and a video immediately went viral on social media platforms, drawing flak from netizens.

Local traders got deeply angered after the video surfaced. The entire incident was described by Mukesh Gupta, state general secretary of the Traders Security Forum, as high-handedness of the state police. Gupta demanded strict action against the accused cop and issued a warning that traders would be forced to protest unless strict and immediate action is taken against the guilty police officer.

Sagar’s coconuts were returned after pressure from local traders but it was claimed that 3 coconuts were missing.

Interestingly, the cop vehemently denied the allegations and said the action was merely taken as part of an anti-encroachment drive. Singh commented that action was being taken against all illegal carts that were set up by vendors at the bus stand intersection. However, his claims came under intense scrutiny after the viral video showed Sagar’s coconuts were forcibly loaded into a state police vehicle.

Police Action

The accused cop was transferred to the police lines by Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand. A detailed investigation of the entire case would be handled now by the Circle Officer. Departmental action would be initiated against the accused cop if the sub-inspector is found guilty as per the investigation.
