The romantic drama features Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles. Set against the fast-paced backdrop of Mumbai, the film explores themes of love, vulnerability and self-discovery.

As audience reactions begin to surface, the overall response appears divided. While some viewers have praised the film’s tone and performances, others feel it falls short. The contrasting opinions highlight how differently the story is resonating with moviegoers.

Do Deewane Seher Mein Review: What Early Viewers Said

One early viewer expressed strong disappointment. Describing the film as a “deeply disappointing” romantic drama, the reviewer felt it failed to leave a lasting impression. Despite casting two popular actors, the film was labelled bland and forgettable.

After receiving global backlash, the typographical errors have now been corrected.

Interestingly, Sharif was isolated, sidelined and humiliated at the first session of the Board of Peace. This was after Sharif called Trump the ‘man of peace’ and even referred him for the Nobel Peace Prize. However, Trump sidelined and marginalized him during the session. The Pakistani Prime Minister to his biggest surprise was relegated to the sidelines.

At one point in his speech, Trump gestured Sharif to “stand up” to which Sharif rose from his seat immediately. Many social media users called Sharif a puppet of Donald Trump. If this was not all, Trump openly showered praises on the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “very good friend” and a “great man.”

Last year, Shehbaz Sharif became a laughing stock among Pakistani public and the world after he had written, “I condom the attack” instead of “I condemn the attack,” referring to the reported airstrikes by Israel on Iran.

A disturbing incident from Chhattisgarh’s capital has triggered outrage online. A Raipur viral video shows a man deliberately setting a petrol pump nozzle on fire after being warned not to smoke. The reckless act could have led to a massive explosion. Alert staff, however, prevented a tragedy.

Incident Took Place at Urla Petrol Pump

The incident occurred on February 18–19, 2026, at a fuel station in the Urla area of Raipur. Two men, identified as Dharmendra Kshatri and Imran, arrived on a motorcycle to refuel.

Despite repeated warnings from staff, Dharmendra lit a cigarette near the fuel dispenser. When confronted, he allegedly lost his temper and brought a lighter close to the nozzle while petrol was flowing into the bike’s tank. Flames erupted instantly and spread to the motorcycle and pump machine.

Careful Employee Averts Major Disaster

Panic gripped the station as fire flared up. A vigilant pump attendant acted within seconds. He quickly disconnected the nozzle, shut off the main fuel supply and used a fire extinguisher from the safety kit.

His swift action stopped the fire from spreading to nearby vehicles and underground storage tanks. Burning fuel reportedly splashed on the accused during the chaos. The prompt response prevented what could have been a devastating blast.

The entire episode was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the pump. The duo attempted to flee but staff detained them. Police from Urla station arrested both men based on a complaint filed by the manager.

He further described the present system as a “four-engine government” and claimed worsening living conditions, citing issues such as homelessness during winter, contaminated water supply, and irregular electricity.

The debate around The Kerala Story 2 has intensified even before the film’s release. The upcoming sequel has drawn criticism from religious leaders, sparked legal action, and triggered sharp political responses. What began as anticipation for a follow-up to a controversial film has now evolved into a full-blown public discussion on representation, creative freedom and communal sensitivity.

The All India Muslim Jamaat (AIMJ) has openly condemned the film, alleging that it promotes “fake narratives” and risks damaging social harmony. The remarks have added fuel to an already heated conversation surrounding the movie’s subject matter and portrayal of interfaith relationships.

Meanwhile, voices from the political sphere have entered the fray. Supporters argue that filmmakers have the right to tell their stories, while critics warn against narratives that may deepen divisions.

The Kerala Story 2 Faces Criticism From AIMJ

On Thursday, AIMJ President Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi strongly objected to the film while speaking to ANI. His comments were direct and unambiguous.

Razvi said, “The Kerala Story 2 is a story based on fake narratives, and nowadays a trend has started among film directors to earn money in any way possible. The films these days are increasing communal tension and destroying the Hindu-Muslim brotherhood. All these things are being done as part of a planned effort to defame Muslims.”

The AIMJ’s statement reflects broader concerns raised by some groups who believe the sequel could reignite tensions similar to those seen during the first film’s release. According to critics, the narrative risks reinforcing stereotypes and presenting sensitive themes without adequate context.

Adding another layer to the controversy, the Kerala High Court has issued a notice to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and the film’s makers. The notice followed a petition challenging the censor certificate granted to the film.

Petitioner Sreedev Namboothiri argued that the sequel contains malicious and stereotypical projections scandalising an entire state without any basis. The next hearing is scheduled for February 24.

Union Minister Giriraj Supports The Film

As criticism mounted, Union Minister Giriraj Singh came out in support of the film. Speaking to reporters on Friday, Singh defended the filmmakers’ right to present their perspective.

He said, “Filmmakers and producers have the right to show the truth to the country, and if it is not seen, then today’s youth will be left confused.”

Earlier, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan voiced strong opposition to reports of a sequel. He reportedly warned that such projects could attempt to incite “communal discord” within the state.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has also criticised the film, expressing concerns about its potential social impact.

The sequel follows three parallel narratives of young Hindu women who allegedly face coercion and forced religious conversion after entering relationships with Muslim men.

The trailer hints at themes of manipulation, identity struggles and emotional trauma. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on February 27, 2026.
