From Bhagwant Mann’s Vision to Action: Statewide Raids Net Weapons and Proclaimed Offenders

Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Police carried out 571 targeted raids across the state on Day 210 of the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign, part of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s sustained push against organised crime through coordinated action with the Anti-Gangster Task Force.

What the Latest Sweep Found

The operation resulted in 307 arrests, including two proclaimed offenders who had been evading law enforcement. Police also recovered one illegal weapon during the crackdown, adding to a steady stream of arms seizures the campaign has logged over recent weeks.

A Campaign Built on Daily Momentum

‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ has run as a near-daily operation, with raid counts typically ranging between 570 and 680 and arrests fluctuating between roughly 300 and 520 per day. Just a day earlier, Day 206 saw 613 raids, 368 arrests, six proclaimed offenders apprehended, and four weapons recovered, underlining how consistently the drive is being sustained rather than run as a one-off show of force.

The Bigger Numbers

Since the campaign’s launch, cumulative arrests have climbed past 74,800, according to Punjab Police data through mid-August. Officials say the scale reflects a deliberate strategy of intelligence-based, mapped operations targeting identified gangster hideouts and criminal networks rather than random policing sweeps.

Public Cooperation Remains Central

Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Police has continued to lean on public tip-offs to sustain the campaign, urging residents to share information anonymously through its Anti-Gangster Helpline (93946-93946), with assurances of confidentiality for informants.

With raids continuing well past the 200-day mark, the operation underscores the Mann government’s attempt to convert its anti-crime rhetoric into a visible, numbers-backed enforcement record ahead of the state’s continuing law-and-order narrative.

Bhagwant Mann’s Government Links Industry and Education Through Fresh MoUs in Punjab, Check How?

CM- Bhagwant- Mann

Bhagwant Mann: Punjab’s education department is rewriting its playbook, replacing classroom-only learning with industry-embedded training through a string of fresh MoUs signed under Technical Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains.

A B.Tech Programme Built Inside a Factory

The centrepiece is a first-of-its-kind MoU between Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, and Victura Technologies of Faridabad. Under the deal, a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Industry Integrated) will see students spend the last three semesters training directly at the company, which is now a deemed campus of the university. Bains called it a promise that education would move beyond theory into real-world application, starting with a focused batch of 30 students.

New Courses Aimed at Curbing Brain Drain

Sardar Beant Singh State University, Gurdaspur, is rolling out five new industry-aligned courses from the 2026-27 session, including B.Tech in AI and Machine Learning, B.Tech in Robotics and AI, and B.Pharmacy. Bains framed the move as an effort to stop Punjab families from sending children out of state for quality technical or pharma education, calling the state’s universities “future-ready” by design.

Going Global Too

The state has also looked abroad, with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University signing an international MoU with Universal Business School Sydney to give students cross-border exposure and research collaboration opportunities.

Entrepreneurship Now Compulsory

Bhagwant Mann: Rounding out the shift, entrepreneurship has been made a mandatory subject for Classes 11 and 12, alongside BBA, BCom, BTech and BVoc programmes, reflecting Bains’s push for what he calls a “flipped classroom” model, where students spend limited time on theory and the rest earning and learning inside real industry settings.

Together, these MoUs signal a structural bet by the Mann government: that tying degrees directly to industry floors, not just placement cells, is the surer route to jobs and to keeping Punjab’s talent within the state.

Sehat Card by CM Bhagwant Mann Brings Mental Health Support Within Reach for Punjab Families, check

CM Bhagwant Mann: Punjab‘s flagship Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana, already known for offering cashless treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh per family, is increasingly becoming a gateway to mental health care, with fresh State Health Agency data showing a striking pattern among beneficiaries.

Who Is Using It

SHA data shows that 75 percent of Sehat Yojana beneficiaries availing mental health coverage are between 18 and 45 years old, pointing to a working-age population that badly needs timely psychological care. The data set covers claims linked to mood disorders as well as psychoactive substance-use disorders, highlighting how closely mental health and substance dependence are intertwined in the state.

Why It Matters

Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh said the Mann-led government has focused on making healthcare accessible and affordable for every Punjab family, with particular attention to the wellbeing of young people. The finding gives the government a data-backed case for expanding awareness around early intervention, since substance dependence often carries psychological, behavioural, and social consequences that need sustained professional treatment and rehabilitation.

Part of a Wider Push

CM Bhagwant Mann: The Sehat Card’s mental health coverage now sits alongside two other state initiatives: the Yudh Nashean Virudh anti-drug campaign and the CM Di Yogshala wellness programme. Officials describe the three as complementary, spanning prevention, healthy living, and clinical treatment. The scheme itself has scaled rapidly, with more than 9 lakh Sehat Cards issued so far and coverage reaching close to 3 crore residents across nearly 65 lakh families, with usable access at over 820 empanelled hospitals.

With mental health emerging as a significant share of claims among younger beneficiaries, the government faces pressure to strengthen outreach further, particularly through the door-to-door enrolment drives already underway across villages and towns, to ensure more working-age Punjabis know this support exists.

Google

Box Office War between Batwara 1947 and Awarapan 2 has witnessed a very interesting development on Day 5. Though the gross box office collections from Day 5 increased for both movies as compared to their previous days, Awarapan 2 still managed to dominate Batwara 1947.

Day 5 Box Office Collection of Batwara 1947

Batwara 1947 collected a net amount of ₹2.25 Cr on Day 5, which was 12.5% increase as compared to the net collection of ₹2.00 Cr on the previous day.The Sunny Deol-starrer earned this net amount on 6,608 screenings on Day 5. Thus, the total India net collection of the movie has reached ₹30.75 Cr, whereas its India gross collection has touched ₹36.54 Cr.The movie also managed to earn ₹0.50 Cr abroad on Day 5. Its gross collection abroad has thus increased to ₹6.75 Cr. Therefore, the total worldwide gross collection of Batwara 1947 is ₹43.29 Cr.

Awarapan 2 Day 5 Box Office Collection

Awarapan 2 continued its strong run on Day 5, earning ₹9.75 Cr, a 5.4% rise from Wednesday’s ₹9.25 Cr. The film recorded this through 11,060 shows, significantly more than Batwara 1947’s 6,608 shows. Its India net collection has now crossed ₹100 Cr, reaching ₹100.75 Cr, while India gross stands at ₹120.33 Cr. With ₹2.00 Cr earned overseas on Day 5, its worldwide gross collection has reached an impressive ₹144.13 Cr.

Batwara 1947 vs. Awarapan 2:

Comparison of the two films in their Day 5 collection becomes quite evident. In comparison, while Awarapan 2 has collected ₹9.75 Cr, the film of Batwara 1947 has collected only ₹2.25 Cr.

Similarly, when it comes to their overall collections, Batwara 1947’s India net collection of ₹30.75 Cr is not much compared to the ₹100 Cr India net of Awarapan 2.

Emraan Hashmi Outshines Sunny Deol at the Box Office

The Day 5 numbers show Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 clearly ahead of Sunny Deol’s Batwara 1947. The sequel has not only maintained its momentum but has also crossed the ₹100 Cr India net milestone within five days. Batwara 1947 has shown a 12.5% day-on-day growth, which is positive. However, its overall pace remains considerably lower than Awarapan 2. With ₹144.13 Cr worldwide, Awarapan 2 is now in a strong position and could continue its successful theatrical run if the momentum holds over the coming days.

Ram Mandir Donation Row: SIT Final Report Flags “Gross Lapses” In Cash Handling, Slams SBI Over Poor Supervision

Ram- Mandir- Donation- Row

Ram Mandir Donation Row: The Uttar Pradesh Home Department has forwarded the SIT’s final report on the Ram Temple donation theft case to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, closing out a probe that has already led to eight arrests and put the temple’s cash-handling systems under sharp scrutiny.

What the Investigation Found

CCTV footage examined by the three-member SIT, led by Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant along with IG Kiran S. and Special Secretary Neel Ratan Kumar, showed nearly 70 instances of theft in the donation counting room between April 27 and June 5, 2026. Counting staff were seen concealing bundles and loose notes in their clothing, shoes, and personal belongings during routine counting sessions.

Systemic Lapses Flagged

Beyond individual theft, the report highlights major procedural failures despite a detailed MoU and standard operating procedure signed with the State Bank of India. Investigators found that proper frisking and security checks were not being enforced at entry and exit points of the counting room, pointing to a broader breakdown in supervision on the bank’s end.

Where the Case Stands

Eight individuals, including Avinash Shukla, Anukalp Mishra, and Lavkush Mishra, remain in custody, arrested after an FIR was registered following the SIT’s preliminary report in June. The SIT also examined the roles of former Trust general secretary Champat Rai and ex-member Anil Mishra, both of whom resigned in late June amid the allegations, but neither has been named as an accused in the final report. A five-year re-audit of the Trust’s accounts, covering construction spending as well as gold and silver donations, is separately underway.

Political Fallout Continues

Ram Mandir Donation Row:The case has drawn sharp opposition criticism, with Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge calling it a serious matter given the scale of donations and land handed to the Trust by the central government. The Trust is now expected to review the SIT’s recommendations and decide on further corrective action, including possible changes to its cash-handling arrangement with SBI.

“Not Quite Sure What The Approach Was” Harsha Bhogle Slams Team India’s Chaotic Batting Approach In Second Innings, Will Rain Spoil The Party?

Harsha- Bhogle
Google

Harsha Bhogle: India’s second innings in the Galle Test took an unexpectedly messy turn on Day 4, getting bowled out for 193 instead of setting up a declaration, drawing sharp criticism over the team’s game plan with rain clouds gathering over the final day.

What Happened On Day 4

Resuming with a 178-run first-innings lead, India extended their advantage steadily through KL Rahul and Devdutt Padikkal before losing quick wickets, including Yashasvi Jaiswal for a first-ball duck. Rishabh Pant then counter-attacked to push the total along, but the innings folded for 193, leaving Sri Lanka needing 288 for victory. India hit back with the ball, reducing the hosts to 84 for 4 by stumps.

Why The Approach Is Under the Scanner

Commentators and analysts flagged that with rain forecast for Day 5, similar to the conditions that had already washed out sessions on Days 2 and 3, India could have declared once their lead crossed 350 rather than batting on and risking being bowled out. Being all out for 193 instead of controlling the declaration has left India needing all ten Sri Lankan wickets in a single day now under threat from weather.

The Bigger Picture

India need to win both Tests in this series to keep their World Test Championship final hopes alive, making the margin for error on time management unusually thin. A near-missed opportunity on Day 4, Ravindra Jadeja overstepped on what would have been a fifth Sri Lankan wicket, only added to the sense that India left themselves more to do than necessary.

This means that the economic relationship between the countries has been completely halted on the issues of trade, commerce and finance. It is also worth noting that the UAE is keen to safeguard the international financial system through adhering to international laws and regulations.

Why is this significant for the broader region?

US-Iran War: The most recent news comes amid growing tensions over the Strait of Hormuz. The flow of ships through the strategically important waterway has come to a standstill, raising questions about energy supply, transportation costs, and world oil markets. Reuters says that oil prices recently rose due to growing uncertainty over the conflict situation and its impact on the strait. As for the business community, the UAE-Iran trade freeze may pose additional challenges for regional commerce and financial flows. Any disruptions in the Gulf may have broader implications for the energy and shipping sectors.

AAP’s Top Priorities Are Education & Healthcare; Govt Schools Were Transformed First in Delhi & Now in Punjab: Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal hit back at an attempt to malign the Bhagwant Mann Government after an old video of a Punjab government school was circulated on social media. Sharing a video of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains visiting the school to verify the situation on the ground, he said education and healthcare remain the Aam Aadmi Party’s top priorities, and the minister’s immediate visit was a reflection of that commitment.

The AAP Chief said the AAP had first transformed government schools in Delhi and was now undertaking the same work in Punjab. He said basic facilities had been provided in most government schools across Punjab, with the remaining schools also set to receive them soon. As a result, several Punjab government schools are now competing with leading private schools in terms of both educational quality and facilities.

In a detailed post on X, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, “I am so happy that today education and schools are being discussed everywhere in the country. It has become a people’s movement. It should have happened long back.”

The AAP Chief pointed out, “Education and health have always been the two most important issues for the Aam Aadmi Party. We believe that no country can progress without providing the best and free education and healthcare to all its citizens. These are the foundation for the development of any country.”

Talking about the AAP’s work in Delhi and Punjab, he noted, “First in Delhi and then in Punjab, the AAP brought several improvements to government schools, many of them becoming better than the best private schools. There are thousands of instances where many parents shifted their kids from private to government schools, both in Punjab and Delhi.”

On the ongoing work in Punjab, he stated, “The work of improving government schools in Punjab is in progress. Barring a few, most schools have been provided basic facilities. Soon, the remaining schools will also have all basic facilities. Many government schools in Punjab now compete with the best private schools in terms of facilities and quality of education.”

On an old video of a Punjab government school, Arvind Kejriwal said, “Today someone posted an old video of a Punjab government school. I am glad that the Education Minister himself visited that school to verify the situation on the ground. Do read his report.”

What Decades Of Previous Govts Failed To Do, Bhagwant Mann Govt Has Achieved In Just 4.5 Years: Harjot Singh Bains

Harjot Singh Bains

Presenting the four-and-a-half-year status report of school education, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the Bhagwant Mann government has transformed the Punjab’s education system through a ₹2,300 crore reform programme, with Punjab surpassing Kerala to emerge as No. 1 in school education in the NITI (National Institution for Transforming India) Aayog Report 2026-27.

Presenting the status report at a press conference at Punjab Bhawan on Tuesday, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that 3.64 lakh students have shifted from private schools to government schools since 2022, reflecting the growing public trust in government schools. He attributed the transformation to the sustained focus of the state government on strengthening government schools since assuming office in March 2022.

Recalling the AAP’s electoral promise, Minister Harjot Singh Bains pointed out, “AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and CM Bhagwant Singh Mann went to every village and city and asked for one chance to fix Punjab’s government schools. The people of Punjab showed their progressive mindset by giving 92 seats to the AAP on this very narrative. We honoured that trust.”

The Education Minister noted, “The education system we inherited in 2022 was in shambles. A majority of schools had no boundary walls. Over 5,000 schools had no functional toilets. 4 lakh children were forced to sit on the floor. 500 schools had no drinking water. And textbooks arrived 5 months late. This was the reality of Punjab’s education.”

Highlighting the scale of infrastructure transformation, he said, “The Bhagwant Mann government has invested ₹2,300 crore in school infrastructure, averaging ₹15 lakh per school, in the last four and a half years. As a result, 13,920 new toilets have been constructed and every school in the state now has functional toilets. 2 lakh desks have been distributed, ensuring that no child sits on the floor today.”

“Over 9,000 new classrooms and labs have been built, while over 10,000 interactive panels have been installed in classrooms. In addition, 5,012 schools have been upgraded with advanced computer labs. All government schools in Punjab have now been equipped with Wi-Fi,” he added.

Pointing to the pace of infrastructure development, Minister Harjot Singh Bains said, “Think about this, 9,000 new classrooms have been constructed by our government. Calculate the days and divide. See how many were built every single day.”

Highlighting the expansion of facilities in government schools, the Minister said, “Government schools now boast sports facilities previously reserved for private institutions, including swimming pools, shooting ranges, basketball and tennis courts, Kabaddi mats, wrestling and boxing rings.”

He said, “The Bhagwant Mann government gave unprecedented exposure to teachers. Over multiple batches, principals were sent to Singapore, primary teachers to Finland and headmasters to IIM Ahmedabad for training.”

Speaking about security and maintenance in schools, Minister Harjot Singh Bains stated, “Ex-Army personnel have been deployed as campus managers in all senior secondary schools. In addition, two security guards have been posted at every senior secondary school with over 500 students. Monthly cleaning funds ranging from ₹3,000 to ₹50,000 are now being provided to schools based on student strength.”

Highlighting the improvement in academic outcomes, the Education Minister said, “786 government school students qualified JEE and 2,166 cracked NEET in the last four years. NEET-UG qualifiers from government schools jumped from just 80 in 2021 to 882 in 2026, a more than 10-fold increase. The year-wise growth shows 437 qualifiers in 2024, 847 in 2025, and 882 this year. 361 students qualified for JEE Mains, with 64 cracking JEE Advanced.”

“Most importantly, 3.64 lakh students have moved from private to government schools since 2022. This proves the growing public trust in government schools,” he pointed out.

Highlighting Punjab’s performance in learning outcomes, Minister Harjot Singh Bains said, “Punjab topped the NITI Aayog Report 2026-27 in classroom learning outcomes, leaving behind Kerala, which was previously considered the gold standard in school education.”

Speaking about innovation in education, the Education Minister said, “Punjab became the first state to introduce Artificial Intelligence as a core subject from Class I to XII. The Business Blasters programme gave 2.30 lakh students real business experience. The government provided ₹29 crore in seed money and students earned ₹3 crore in profit.”

He added that the Bhagwant Mann government has also opened 40 dedicated skill education schools for students who dropped out after Class 10, with the objective of bringing them back into the education system.

Highlighting measures to reduce the financial burden on families, Minister Harjot Singh Bains said, “The cost of education in the country remains a serious issue. In Punjab, we have tried to provide relief to parents. The government has capped annual school fee increases at a maximum of 5 per cent.”

Speaking about accessibility for government school students, the Education Minister noted, “Punjab introduced free bus services for government school students, benefiting over 15,000 students daily across hundreds of schools.”

He also added, “Despite two devastating floods in 2023 and 2025 that damaged over 7,000 schools in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Ropar, Ferozepur and Fazilka, the government remained committed to education. Working with the World Bank, 500 seriously damaged schools are being restored, with most expected to be completed within six months.”

Emphasising his commitment to taking Punjab’s school education system further, Minister Harjot Singh Bains said, “I have personally visited over 2,000 schools. No district is left. Education is my passion, this is my obsession. 20,000 schools in Punjab and I am on a mission. In 2 years, Punjab will be the first state to say: not one school lacks anything. For us education is top priority.”

Central government employees and pensioners are eagerly waiting for the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission. The biggest questions are when the commission will submit its final report and when employees can expect higher salaries and pensions.

According to Dr. Manjeet Singh Patel, National President of the All India NPS Employees Federation (AINPSEF), the commission’s report submission and subsequent implementation will depend on the time taken to complete the consultation, data collection and recommendation process.

8th Pay Commission: What Are Employees Demanding?

Central government employees and pensioners have raised several demands before the 8th Pay Commission, including a higher fitment factor, better pension benefits and changes in allowances.

Key demands include:

  • Minimum basic pay: ₹69,000
  • Fitment factor: 3.83
  • Annual increment: 6%
  • Minimum HRA slab: 30%
  • Pension: 67% of the last drawn salary
  • Family pension: 50%
  • Old Pension Scheme (OPS): Demand for restoration

When Can the 8th Pay Commission Submit Its Final Report?

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Anurag Dhanda criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over remarks he said were made from the Red Fort, alleging that the comments were inappropriate and amounted to disrespect towards the country’s soldiers.

Anurag Dhanda Criticises PM Modi Over Remarks at Red Fort

In a social media post, Dhanda claimed that the language used by Modi from the Red Fort was so objectionable that even a BJP spokesperson was unwilling to repeat it during a television discussion.

The remarks have triggered a political response from the AAP leader

Dhanda also referred to a media interaction involving BJP spokesperson K.K. Sharma, saying that he questioned Sharma over the Prime Minister’s alleged remarks concerning the armed forces.

According to Dhanda, Sharma appeared to avoid directly addressing the question during the discussion. The AAP leader used the exchange to question the BJP’s response to criticism surrounding the Prime Minister’s comments.

The remarks have triggered a political response from the AAP leader, who accused the BJP of failing to provide a clear explanation regarding the statements attributed to Modi.

Dhanda’s comments reflect the wider political debate surrounding statements made by national leaders on matters involving the armed forces, national security and the dignity of military personnel.

The AAP leader shared the remarks on social media while highlighting what he described as an evasive response from the BJP spokesperson during the television discussion.

Bhagwant Mann: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has called for greater attention to the state’s border areas, arguing that long-term development in Punjab and the broader vision of a developed India cannot be achieved while vulnerable border communities continue to face repeated flood-related challenges.

Bhagwant Mann Government Backs Ujh River Dam Plan

AAP Punjab chief spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh said that a delegation, along with farmers from the border region, met the Governor of Punjab to discuss the difficulties faced by people living in flood-prone areas.

Ujh River Dam Plan to Protect Punjab Border Areas

During the meeting, the delegation highlighted how recurring floods have affected farmers and communities across generations, restricting economic growth and development opportunities in the border belt.

A key demand raised during the meeting was the construction of a dam on the Ujh River. According to AAP Punjab, the proposed project could help reduce the impact of floods in border areas and provide greater protection to agricultural land and local communities.

The party said that better flood management could also create opportunities for economic and infrastructure development in the region. It argued that protecting farmers and their livelihoods would be an important step towards improving the overall socio-economic condition of border districts.

Kuldeep Singh said the Punjab Governor responded positively to the concerns raised by the delegation. He added that a meeting with the Union Minister for Jal Shakti would be sought soon to take up the proposal at the central level.

AAP MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal Meets Governor, Demands Dam on Ujh River to Protect Ajnala from Floods

Punjab news

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Ajnala Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, along with a delegation comprising sarpanches, chairmen and Zila Parishad members from the constituency, met Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria on Tuesday and urged him to take up the long-pending issues of recurring floods, construction of the Ujh Dam and development of the border region with the Central Government.

Highlighting the plight of the people of Ajnala, MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said, “Every year, the people of Ajnala suffer massive destruction due to the waters of the Ravi and Ujh rivers. The water of the Ujh River, which originates from Jammu and Kashmir, passes through Pathankot, Sujanpur, Dinanagar, Gurdaspur and Dera Baba Nanak before reaching Ajnala and then flowing into Pakistan. By the time it reaches Ajnala, it causes massive destruction. Farmers lose their crops, roads are damaged, schools collapse and fertile agricultural land is washed away.”

He further said, “The continuous threat of floods has also affected the economic development of the region. No one is willing to establish industries in an area where there is a constant fear of floods and destruction. The people of Ajnala deserve permanent protection from this recurring crisis and a clear path towards sustainable development.”

Drawing the Governor’s attention to the long-pending proposal for construction of a dam on the Ujh River, the AAP MLA stated, “The Central Government’s plan to construct a dam on the Ujh River has been pending for the last 10 to 12 years. I have requested the Governor to strongly raise this issue with the Prime Minister and the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti so that the construction of the dam can be completed at the earliest.”

Explaining the importance of the project, he said, “The construction of the Ujh Dam will provide a permanent solution to the recurring flood threat to a large extent. Along with flood control, the project will generate electricity, provide canals for irrigation and create employment opportunities for the youth. This can become a major step towards the economic and social development of the border region.”

Calling for greater focus on border areas, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said, “If the Central Government wants to fulfil the dream of a Developed India, it will have to focus on the development of border areas along with major cities. If border areas continue to remain neglected in this manner, the country’s overall development will remain incomplete. The people living in these areas make an important contribution to the security and strength of the country and they deserve better infrastructure, employment opportunities and protection from recurring natural disasters.”

Raising another pending issue, the AAP MLA stated, “I also brought to the Governor’s notice the ₹1,600 crore compensation announced by the Prime Minister last time, which has still not been received. The people of the affected areas are waiting for this assistance and the matter needs to be resolved at the earliest.”

Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that the Governor heard the delegation patiently and assured them that he would soon arrange a meeting between the delegation and the Union Jal Shakti Minister. He said the Governor also assured the delegation that efforts would be made to resolve the issues raised by the people of Ajnala.
