Balochistan News: The Balochistan Liberation Army has intensified its insurgency in the province, demanding greater autonomy, control over local resources, and the withdrawal of Pakistani military forces from strategic areas. The group opposes major development projects such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, arguing that these initiatives marginalise the local population and exploit natural resources without fair benefits. Their attacks are aimed at disrupting state authority and asserting influence over regional governance.

Recent China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Attacks on Chinese Workers

Balochistan News: Chinese workers and infrastructure linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor have been targeted repeatedly amid rising violence. These attacks have prompted Beijing to seek enhanced security measures to safeguard its investments. Despite these challenges, Pakistan and China reaffirmed their “ironclad” alliance in January 2026, pledging continued collaboration in industry, agriculture, and mining. Both nations are also planning joint events to mark seventy-five years of diplomatic ties, demonstrating China’s long-term commitment to the region.

The 50 Elvish Yadav: Reality show The 50 may not feature Elvish Yadav as a contestant, but the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner has still managed to grab headlines. The YouTuber recently stirred social media with a post about the show, claiming his presence and influence were being felt despite his absence. While his loyal fan base backed him strongly, a section of social media users slammed him for what they called a narcissistic tone.

Since the premiere of The 50, several contestants have openly mentioned Elvish Yadav during conversations inside the house. These repeated references appear to have prompted Elvish to react publicly, triggering online debate and trolling.

Elvish Yadav Brags About His Dominance, Sparks Online Backlash

Taking to his social media handle, Elvish Yadav shared a post questioning whether anyone on The 50 could match his screen presence. He wrote, “Mera Screentime match kar paara hai koi The 50 me?”

The post quickly went viral and received mixed reactions. While fans praised his confidence and popularity, others accused him of showing off. Many users pointed out that being discussed on the show did not necessarily translate to dominance.

One user commented, “Gawar teri beizzati ho rhi, post toh aise kr rha ki jaise kitni taareef ho rhi.”

Another wrote, “Tum apne..nokar ..kamwala ..dusman sabko bhej k rakhe ho show main…to milega he to tumko screen time.”

The trolling continued with sarcastic remarks like “The 50 Kids of Elvish Yadav.

Another user added, “Ye sab aapke bachche to hi hai… Jo baap ka name le rahe hai… Aur kiska lenge… Agar koi hota to lete na?”

One more comment read, “Aapka beta try kar rha aapke naam se khudka screen time badhane ka.”

Why Elvish’s Name Was Mentioned On The 50

Inside The 50 house, several contestants have openly spoken about their past clashes and opinions regarding Elvish Yadav. Maxtern (Sagar Thakur) and Prince Narula have been the most vocal. Maxtern revisited their 2024 physical altercation and alleged that Elvish had sent him Rs 1 lakh before the fight to potentially “frame” him. He also accused Elvish of later using a “mummy victim card” to gain public sympathy.

Prince Narula further called Elvish a “reel gangster.” He also claimed that Elvish once fled to Goa to avoid a confrontation after allegedly having gangsters threaten him.

Adding fuel to the fire, Bebika Dhurve made a viral claim stating that Elvish Yadav is banned from entering Dubai due to his past legal issues and reckless behaviour. She also criticised Elvish’s close circle, including Lovekesh Kataria, Lakshay and Archit, questioning their rise to fame and calling their fan base “toxic.”

While Elvish’s friends inside the house continue to defend him, other contestants such as Rajat Dalal have repeatedly used his name during heated arguments.

Epstein Files

Epstein Files: Former United States President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton are all set to testify in a House investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

Recently, Chair of the House Oversight Committee James Comer insisted that he expects both Bill and Hillary to submit a sworn deposition to fulfill the panel’s subpoenas.

Angel Ureña, a spokesman for the Clintons, remarked the Clintons will be there, setting a precedent that should be applied to everyone.

Epstein Files: Clintons Finally Gave In

For several months, Hillary and Bill Clinton refused to make an appearance before the panel led by the Republicans. They argued that the subpoenas issued to them were legally unenforceable and invalid. Clintons also accused Comer of specifically targeting them as part of a retribution campaign by the United States President as part of a political vendetta.

Like many other eminent personalities, Bill Clinton had a well-documented social relationship with the convicted Jeffrey Epstein. Recently, more than 3 million files associated with Epstein were released. It included many emails between Epstein and Elon Musk.

The newly-released Epstein files mentioned many names such as Bill Gates, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s mother Mira Nair, Kathryn Ruemmler, Sergey Brin, Howard Lutnick, Steve Tisch and Melania Trump. It also included the names of Marc Rowan, Brad Karp, George Mitchell, Brett Ratner, Elon Musk, Richard Branson and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

It was communicated by the Justice Department that some of the publicly-shared materials could include untrue allegations or fake images. It was further added that the DOJ had removed several thousand documents that identified some of the victims of Jeffrey Epstein inadvertently.

Another Epstein Files Development

In another development, the records of US Justice Department have claimed that a “personal hacker” of Jeffrey Epstein sold a zero-day exploit to terrorist outfit Hezbollah.

It was alleged by an informant that Hezbollah paid a trunk of cash that was delivered in Italy.

India US Trade Deal: Trump’s Face Saver or Modi’s Masterstroke? Why India Wins Big in Trump’s Trade War Escape Plan? Explained

India US Trade Deal

India US Trade Deal: A new trade deal has been announced by the United States President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The deal would mean that New Delhi would no longer buy oil from Russia and increase the imports of American goods.

Under the new trade deal, India would now face a reduced tariff of 18 percent, replacing the earlier 25 percent tariff and the additional 25 percent.

US Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins remarked the India USA trade deal would help USA export more of its farm products to the massive market of India.

Now, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio would meet Indian External affairs minister S Jaishankar On February 3.

Remarks by PM Modi on India US Trade Deal

Narendra Modi remarked that the new deal would benefit the people of both India and the United States. Modi remarked it would unlock countless opportunities while being vital for global stability, peace and prosperity.

The first mention of a trade deal between the two countries came in a social media post by Sergio Gor, the US Ambassador to India. This was followed by a post on Truth Social by Trump followed by a post from Modi.

Remarks By Trump On Deal

Trump remarked that he is reducing tariffs and non-tariff barriers for India. The US President said it was an honour to speak with the Indian PM, calling him one of the most respected and powerful leaders. Trump added that the Modi government would buy more than $500 billion worth of American technology, energy, coal, agricultural products and other goods. Trump also said India would no longer buy oil from Russia. In recent weeks, Donald Trump has made several of US allies angry over his obsession for Greenland. Trump remarked that any country that comes in his way to annex Greenland would face tough economic sanctions and tariffs. The India and European Union trade deal probably pushed Trump to immediately get into deal mode with India. The US shutdown and selling off of US treasuries by many countries may also be possible triggers behind the rushed deal.

Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman recently came under the spotlight after his comments about alleged communal bias in the Hindi film industry sparked online debate. The remarks drew both support and criticism, putting focus on his journey and influence in Bollywood. Amid the ongoing discussion, his son AR Ameen spoke about working with his father.

While promoting his latest song “Bheegi Bheegi Raat Mein“, featuring Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan, Ameen opened up about collaborating with his father. The track has vocals by Ameen and Jasleen Royal and marks a rare father-son producer partnership.

While speaking to Filmygyan, Ameen revealed whether Rahman ever scolds him. With a smile, he said, “He always scolds me.”

Reflecting on his career and the inevitable comparisons with his father, Ameen said, “My dad’s legacy has reached a place no one can imagine. I think I am starting my own small journey. Have a long way to go, with a lot of work and commitment ahead. I want to put my heart and soul into it. Right now, I’m just focused on that.”

AR Ameen Defends His Father Amid Backlash

After Rahman faced criticism over his remarks on “communal” factors limiting opportunities in Bollywood, Ameen came out in support of his father. On Instagram Stories, he called Rahman a “legend for life” and said his legacy is “written forever in the books.”

He addressed rumours about his parents’ marriage, calling them HURTFUL and urging respect for their privacy. His sisters (Khatija and Raheema) extended their support, with Raheema publicly criticising those spreading false narratives.

AR Rahman himself clarified his comments during his appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4, saying his original words were misunderstood and “corrupted” in transit, like a game of Chinese whispers. He emphasised that he never intended to hurt or offend anyone. Despite the clarification, backlash continued. Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection Day 4: Rani Mukerji Starrer Witnesses Sharp Fall After Weekend Jump, Misses THIS Mark Amid Disappointing Run

Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection Day 4: Rani Mukerji Starrer Mardaani 3 has seen a noticeable drop in box office numbers on Day 4, despite a strong opening weekend. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 2.15 cr net on its first Monday, taking its four-day total to around Rs 19.65 cr in India. The early numbers show that while the weekend audience was strong, weekday collections fell sharply, indicating a challenging run ahead.

The first three days saw better collections – Rs 4 cr on Friday, Rs 6.25 cr on Saturday and Rs 7.25 cr on Sunday. The steep Monday fall shows the difficulty the film faces in keeping up momentum.

Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection Day 4

The Mardaani franchise has a strong track record. Mardaani 2 opened with about Rs 3.8 cr on Day 1 and crossed Rs 20 cr in four days, thanks to steadier weekday collections. Mardaani 3 will reach this mark on Day 5, suggesting it is trailing its predecessor early in the week.

Yami Gautam’s Article 370 (2024) earned Rs 3.25 cr on its Day 4 and a four-day total of over Rs 26 cr, showing better weekday hold than Mardaani 3. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol starer Border 2 continues to do well in theatres. Though both films target slightly different audiences, Border 2’s strong run likely reduced the footfall for Mardaani 3, affecting its early performance.

Tuesday ticket offers may provide a small boost, but the film needs consistent audience turnout to recover costs and secure at least an average box office run.

India-US Trade Deal: Modinomics Works! After FTA Deal With EU, Donald Trump Falls in Line, Tariffs Slashed, Nail in the Coffin For Pakistan, Bangladesh and China?

India-US Trade Deal
Google

February 2, 2026, India and the United States announced a landmark bilateral trade agreement, reducing American reciprocal tariffs on Indian imports from twenty-five per cent to eighteen per cent. The agreement, credited to direct discussions between President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, comes months after the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement, finalised in November 2025.

The tariff reduction immediately enhances the competitiveness of Indian exports in key sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, and automobiles. With American tariffs on China at thirty-four per cent and Pakistan at nineteen per cent, India now enjoys a significant pricing advantage in North American markets.

Specific American Products India Will Buy More Of

Under the agreement, India has committed to purchasing more than five hundred billion United States dollars in American goods, including energy supplies, agricultural produce, coal, and technology equipment. This increased procurement aligns with Prime Minister Modi’s broader economic strategy, diversifying energy sources away from Russia while strengthening strategic relations with the United States. Economists highlight that rising imports from the United States could support India’s infrastructure and industrial growth while providing American exporters with a stable market.

How the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement Affects Bangladesh Garment Exports

The India-European Union Free Trade Agreement, often described as the “mother of all deals,” cuts tariffs on ninety-six per cent of traded goods, prioritising India’s textiles, chemicals, and information technology services. For Bangladesh, this development poses challenges. European buyers may shift orders to Indian garment manufacturers due to lower tariffs and streamlined customs procedures, potentially reducing Bangladesh’s market share in European Union countries.

Pakistan, Bangladesh, and China: Why Competitors May Suffer

The combined effect of the India-United States and India-European Union agreements creates a competitive disadvantage for neighbouring countries. Pakistan’s textiles and rice exports face reduced demand in the European Union and United States markets, while Bangladesh’s garment sector could see a diversion of orders. Even China may feel trade pressure as global supply chains pivot to tariff-friendly Indian products. Economists describe the dual agreements as a strategic realignment in global trade, favouring India.

T20 Cricket World Cup: Pakistan Forfeits Match With Arch Rivals, Would ICC Follow The Precedents Of FIFA And IOC, Big Punishment On Cards?

T20 Cricket World Cup

T20 Cricket World Cup: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is yet to officially communicate in writing to the world governing body of cricket over its government’s decision to forfeit the Group C fixture against the defending champions India on February 15 in Sri Lanka.

In a post on X, the Government of Pakistan posted Team Pakistan is allowed to participate in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026 but it shall not take field against India. The PCB is trying hard to categorize the turn of event as a government diktat but that would probably not help it escape huge sanctions.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is likely to call an urgent board meeting to take a tough stance against the unilateral decision of the Pakistan Cricket Board. Meanwhile, influencing members boards such as Cricket Australia (CA) and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have expressed their displeasure privately over the recent turn of events.

Losses To Be Recovered From PCB

In all likelihood, the ICC would set up an independent survey to draw opinions from commercial partners and other stakeholders on what kind of money they stand to lose, which would be recoverable from the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Pakistan’s boycott of the match against India could translate to a loss of approximately $38 million for the PCB because of broadcaster claims. It is estimated that the host broadcaster may lose advertising revenue in the range of Rs. 200-250 crore as the much-awaited India Pakistan cricket match provides up to Rs. 40 lakh for a 10-second commercial slot. Moreover, the revenue-sharing model of the PCB with the world governing body of cricket could be jeopardized, which can considerably impact financial distributions in the future.

Would ICC Follow FIFA and IOC’s Precedents?

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) have always punished boycotting teams. As global bodies of repute, they have never tolerated the decision of any country to forfeit matches or an event citing security concerns.

The present-day situations urge the ICC to punish Pakistan badly as inaction would portray it as a weak and incompetent governing body. The actions of Pakistan have diluted the World Cup’s gravity just to gain diplomatic mileage over its arch-rivals India.

Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 11: Sunny Deol Starrer Drops To Single Digit Before Crossing THIS Milestone, Earns 80% Less Than Dhurandhar

Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 11: Border 2 started its box office run on a strong note, driven by the Republic Day holiday and solid audience interest. The Sunny Deol-led war drama performed well in its opening week. However, as the film entered its second week, its collections began to slow. By Day 11, earnings dropped to single digits, marking the lowest daily collection so far. Still, Border 2 box office collection remains healthy, with the film set to cross Rs 300 crore milestone in India.

On its second Monday, the film earned Rs 5.75 crore net. This figure is nearly 80 percent lower than what Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster Dhurandhar collected on Day 11 of its run. With this, Border 2 has collected around Rs 281 crore net in India after 11 days in theatres.

Occupancy numbers also showed a decline. Overall theatre occupancy on Day 11 stood at 11.31 percent. Morning shows recorded 5.67 percent occupancy, while afternoon shows stood at 11.94 percent. Evening and night shows did slightly better at 13.40 percent and 14.22 percent, respectively. In Mumbai, the film played in 610 shows with an occupancy of 11.67 percent. In the Delhi NCR region, it ran across 1,205 shows and recorded 12.33 percent occupancy.

Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 11

The film opened with Rs 30 crore on Day 1 and showed strong growth over its first weekend. Collections jumped on Saturday and Sunday, with Day 3 turning into a major highlight at Rs 54.5 crore. The momentum continued on Monday due to the Republic Day holiday, as the film posted its highest single-day collection of Rs 59 crore.

However, the pace could not be maintained after the extended weekend. From Tuesday onwards, collections fell sharply, with weekday numbers declining steadily. Despite this drop, Border 2 ended its first week with an impressive total of Rs 224.25 crore, placing it among the year’s biggest earners.

In the second week, the usual post-weekend slowdown became clear. Although Saturday and Sunday brought a brief rise, the film could not sustain the momentum. By Day 11, collections had fallen by nearly 74 percent compared to Day 10. The discounted ticket offers on Tuesday could help the film cross the Rs 300 crore mark today.

Rohit Shetty House Firing: Was The Attack Planned To Kill Singham Again Director? FIR Reveals Big Details

Rohit Shetty House Firing Incident Latest Update

Rohit Shetty House Firing: Mumbai was shaken by a serious security scare after shots were fired outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Juhu. Police have registered an attempt-to-murder case following the incident, which took place in the early hours of Sunday. The firing has raised fresh concerns about celebrity safety and triggered intense discussion within the film industry.

According to Mumbai Police, unidentified assailants opened fire at Shetty Towers shortly after midnight. Investigators believe the attack was deliberate and planned. The case took a more serious turn after a social media account linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility. So far, 4 people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Rohit Shetty House Firing: What The FIR reveals

As reported by India Today, FIR gives a detailed account of how the incident unfolded. The complaint was filed by Rohit Shetty’s bodyguard (Swapnil Salunkhe, 31), who was on duty at the time. In his statement, Salunkhe said he was monitoring CCTV footage in the lobby around 12.45 am when he heard a loud sound that first seemed like a firecracker.

When he checked the surveillance feed, Salunkhe reportedly saw an unknown man near the compound wall along Road No. 10. The suspect was wearing a black jacket and white trousers and appeared to be firing towards the building with what looked like a pistol. The assailant allegedly fired five rounds before escaping towards Pushpa Park.

Another bodyguard (Waheed Malik) and a security guard rushed outside but failed to catch the shooter. A police bodyguard assigned to Shetty, Ashish Rane, was informed immediately. Local police reached the spot soon after and secured the area. Although no one was injured, bullets reportedly hit the first floor of the building, including the glass of an on-site gym. The Singham Again director and his family were said to be at home at the time but remained safe.

The FIR states that the complainant believes the firing was carried out with the intention of killing the filmmaker. This has pushed the investigation into a more serious direction. Police teams are now checking CCTV footage from nearby areas and tracking the escape route used by the attacker.

Rohit Shetty To Shoot Future Films With Two-Tier Security

As the probe expanded in Rohit Shetty house firing incident, the Anti-Extortion Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested 4 people from Pune on Monday evening. Officials allege they helped the shooter and arranged the two-wheeler used in the crime. One of the wanted accused has been identified as Shubham Lonkar, who is said to have links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Lonkar has previously been named in other high-profile cases, including the 2024 murder of politician Baba Siddique. However, the shooter is still at large.

In the aftermath of the Rohit Shetty house firing, the filmmaker reportedly cancelled all work commitments and requested industry friends not to visit his home. Security around his residence has been increased, and authorities are planning a two-tier security setup for his future film sets as the investigation continues. The director is currently working on Rakesh Maria biopic with John Abraham and will move to Golmaal 5 next.

Mamata Banerjee Slams CEC After SIR Meeting, Alleges Misbehaviour and Falsehoods

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) following a meeting related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. Expressing strong displeasure, Banerjee accused the CEC of spreading falsehoods and behaving in an inappropriate manner during the interaction.

Mamata Banerjee Slams CEC After SIR Meeting

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Mamata Banerjee alleged that the concerns raised by her party were neither addressed seriously nor acknowledged with due respect. She claimed that instead of engaging in a constructive dialogue, the CEC dismissed objections and, in her words, “made garbage of lies” while responding to the delegation.

Alleges Misbehaviour and Falsehoods

The Trinamool Congress supremo said the Election Commission is expected to function as an impartial and constitutional body, but the conduct during the meeting raised serious questions about fairness and accountability. She asserted that any exercise related to voter revision must be transparent, inclusive, and free from political bias.

Banerjee further stated that issues flagged by her party regarding the SIR process were linked to democratic rights and the integrity of elections. She warned that ignoring such concerns could undermine public trust in electoral institutions.

Reiterating her commitment to safeguarding democracy, the West Bengal Chief Minister said her party would continue to raise its voice against any action that appears arbitrary or dismissive of legitimate concerns. She emphasized that respect, dialogue, and constitutional propriety must guide all institutions entrusted with conducting elections.

The remarks are likely to intensify the political debate around the SIR process, adding to ongoing tensions between the Trinamool Congress and the Election Commission.

Mann Government’s Road Safety Force (SSF) Cuts Highway Deaths by Nearly 50%

Punjab News

Sharing the remarkable success of the Punjab Government’s Road Safety Force (SSF, Sadak Surakheya Force) on the completion of its two years, AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu said that the force has emerged as one of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s most impactful and people-centric initiatives, delivering real results on Punjab’s highways.

Pannu stated that when the SSF was launched two years ago, Punjab reported 1,955 highway accident deaths in 2023. In 2024, this number dropped sharply to 1,016, meaning 940 precious lives were saved in just one year due to the SSF’s swift and professional response. The number of fatal accident cases has witnessed an almost 50 percent decline, reflecting a major improvement in highway safety across Punjab.

He highlighted that around 1,500 specially trained personnel are deployed full-time under SSF and are not diverted for VIP or any other duties. Fully equipped SSF vehicles are stationed at every 30 km on highways, ensuring rapid response. As a result, SSF teams reach accident sites within 6 to 8 minutes, a response time comparable to advanced countries.

“These vehicles are equipped with first-aid facilities, rescue tools and cutters, and personnel are trained to extract victims safely and provide immediate medical aid before shifting them to hospitals,” Pannu said.

He added that the presence of SSF has also virtually eliminated post-accident looting and significantly reduced other highway crimes, especially during night hours.

Calling SSF a “dream project” of CM Bhagwant Mann, Pannu said it has not only materialised but is delivering life-saving outcomes every day. He congratulated all SSF personnel and support staff for their dedication, stating that saving human lives is the biggest achievement of governance.

Officials said the swift response mechanism has played a crucial role in saving lives, especially on highways and accident-prone stretches. The force is equipped with trained personnel, emergency medical support, and specialized vehicles to manage critical situations effectively during the golden hour after an accident.

The success of Punjab’s Road Safety Force has drawn attention from other states as well. Several state governments have reportedly approached Punjab to study and adopt the SSF model, recognising its effectiveness in reducing fatalities and improving post-accident care.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reiterated that every life is valuable, and the government remains committed to strengthening systems that protect citizens on the roads. He said the SSF reflects the state’s focus on preventive governance, rapid response, and people-centric public safety reforms.

With continuous training, technological support, and expansion of coverage, the Punjab government aims to further improve road safety outcomes and make highways and urban roads safer for all commuters.
