Assam Flood: Situation Is Getting worsen In each passing day.

The flood situation in Assam worsened further on Tuesday with nearly 33 lakh people in the 28 of the state’s 33 districts affected. nine more people died on Tuesday.

In Kaziranga National Park floodwaters breached the national highway 37 which cuts across the park leading the administration into temporarily closing the road as a precautionary measure.

Among the affected people across 3,371 villages and localities, 44,108 people have taken shelter in 198 relief camps in 18 districts. An official estimate said crop on 1.28 lakh hectares has been affected.

As per an official bulletin. Three persons died in Dibrugarh district, two each in Tinsukia and Barpeta, while one each in Biswanath and Golaghat districts, according to the daily flood bulletin of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA). 

The floodwater breached a number of river embankments and damaged several bridges and roads across the state. All major rivers such as Brahmaputra, Dhansiri, Burhi Dehing, Jia Bharali, Puthimari, Beki, Kopili, Sankosh, Subansiri, Pagladiya, Katakhal and Kushiyara were in a spate, flowing above the danger level.

“The Chief Minister stressed on the need to dredge the Brahmaputra as its water-carrying capacity has reduced over the years due to loss of depth. He said the Water Resources Department would soon start dredging work. He opined that strengthening of river management in neighbouring states would help in preventing floods effectively in Assam,” an official statement said.

CM also visited a flood relief camp set up at Murkong Selek Girls HS School, Jonai and interacted with the residents.

Assam government is trying to provide uninterrupted food grains, drinking water and medical facilities for the people residing in flood relief camps across Assam.

CM is visiting several relief camps in Assam day by day. While the visit in Bindhakota, Dibhrugarh and Chabua, he directed officials to take extra care of childrens and elderly residing in the camp and also to ensure proper hygiene and social distancing.

After US, UK is banning the Huawei.  Government asked the companies to eliminate equipment from Huawei out of the system by 2027.

Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. is a Chinese multinational technology company. It provides telecommunications equipment and sells consumer electronics smartphones.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the National Security Council chaired by Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday morning. The decision was officially announced in the Parliament by Digital, Culture and Sports Minister Oliver Dowden.

“This has not been an easy decision, but it is the right one for the UK telecoms networks, for our national security and our economy,” digital minister Oliver Dowden told parliament.

The decision follows British condemnation of China’s imposition of a new security lawover the former British territory of Hong Kong.

China’s ambassador to the U.K. called the Huawei decision “disappointing and wrong.” He tweeted “It has become questionable whether the UK can provide an open, fair and non-discriminatory business environment for companies from other countries.”

The decision is a big win for the Trump administration, which has been pushing allies to exclude Huawei from their 5G networks, arguing that the Chinese company is a threat to national security.

Mr Liu had warned this month that there would be “consequences” if Britain started to treat China as a hostile country rather than an ally.

On this day last year, the world witnessed the most dramatic cricketing match ever played in the finals of the 2019 World Cup. The clash between England and New Zealand, which raised standards of the game and the memorable moment went in favor of the English team. Match was drawn, super over was drawn and then boundary count became the deciding factor of the final clash.

First World Cup dream for both the teams

Since, 1987 it was the first time the two teams playing the final encounter of the tournament who never won the title. Last time in 1987 it was Australia and England, when Australia went on winning the cup for the first time. English side played the most finals than any other teams in the history of the tournament, while the New Zealand made their second consecutive entrance in the final after the 2015, where Australia won their one-sided encounter.

England looked strong but New Zealand counter-attacked

Eoin Morgan’s side was strong enough when it came to team balance and playing conditions, they stopped New Zealand to the total of 241 runs. In the historic run chase at Lords the hosts lost the early wickets and the Kiwi bowlers grew their stem in the game much stronger. With no hope for the recovery Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler emerged as the silver lining in the dark sky for their team, they played their part but they led their team to draw the match.

The dramatic Super-Over

Then came the super-over Stokes and Buttler went on crease for the final six balls and scored 15 runs. The opposition believed with their most reliant opener Martin Guptil and the lower order batting all-rounder James Neesham, Jofra Archer had to bowl the final over. Later on after the those six balls the match resulted in a draw in the super over as well but the boundary count played its part, which let England to lift the title. The dream for many English cricket fans became the reality for the first time.

Complete Lockdown In Bihar from 16th July to 31 July.

BIHAR: There Will be a complete lockdown in the state from 16 July to 31 July, announced  Deputy Chief Minister  Sushil Kumar Modi.

The total number of patients in Bihar is close to 18 thousand. 160 people have died so far due to this virus. It is a matter of relief that till now 12 thousand 317 people have been cured. The number of active cases in the state is 5482.

Through his tweeter account Sushil kumar informed that the lockdown would remain at all municipal, district, sub-divisional and block headquarters level.

“There is no medicine or vaccine for corona. We have to ensure that we cover our faces with masks, handkerchiefs or towels,” he said.

Transport services will remain suspended during lockdown. (Air and rail transport, taxis, auto rickshaws, private vehicles for permitted activities, essential service providers, business transport vehicles).

During lockdown, shops of essential goods like medicine, grocery, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish etc. will remain open. Other shops will remain closed. But shops for fruits, vegetables, meat, fish etc. have been allowed to open from 6 am to 10 pm and only from 4 pm to 7 pm in the evening.

The government have taken this decision during a high-level meeting, which was called today to discuss further measures to curb the spread of coronavirus infection in the state.

As many as 1,116 COVID-19 positive cases were found in the State and nine deaths reported in the last 24 hours.

Fourth round of Corp Commander-level meeting between India and China.

Today, the Corps Commander-level meeting between India and China held at around 11 am, at the Chushul border point with Moldo.

XIV Corps Commander Lt General Harinder Singh held talks with South Xinjiang Military Region Commander Major General Liu Lin regarding the next phase of disengagement of troops along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh.

The main focus of fourth round of corp Commander-level meeting was disengagement at Pangong Lake and the Depsang Plains, where both sides have serious differences.

This meeting between the two countries held after the Chinese Army agreed on disengagement along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh. The fourth round of talks come under the second phase of the de-escalation process.

Pakistan is to allow India and Afghan exports through Pak land.

Pakistan has closed the Wagah border with India in the wake of coronavirus pandemic during mid march.
Now Pakistan will allow Afghanistan to send goods to India through Wagah border from July 15.

Both the country has suspended trade through Wagah border because of pandemic. Now after almost 4 month the Wagah border will be open for trade between India and Afghanistan.

“At the special request of the government of Afghanistan and with a view to facilitating its transit trade, Pakistan has decided to resume Afghan exports through Wagah border crossing from July 15 after implementing coronavirus (COVID-19) related protocols,” a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan said.

Pakistan Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq said, “We are moving ahead with promoting economic activity on both sides of the border. The COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures are slowing us down a bit but our direction is right.”

Gujarat: Sunita Yadav transferred for stopping MLA’s son.

Women constable Sunita Yadav, stopped Prakash Kanani son of state Health Minister Kumar Kanani.

She stopped Prakash and his friends for riding during curfew hours in Surat. And notably none of them was wearing masks either.

Now Sunita has been shifted to different PS.

A video of argument between her and MLA’S son has gone viral.
In video he is threatening the lady cop.
Also an audio of argument has gone viral on social media. In that audio Prakash can be heard saying that he can make the cop stand at the same place for 365 days.

Then the cop replied, “I am not a slave of your father that they can treat me as they wish”.

Later she called her senior inspector at Varachcha police station. The senior inspector ordered her to leave the place immediately.

Now Prakash and his two friends were arrested on Sunday . The arrest came a day after audio clips of heated argument surfaced on social media.

CK Patel assistant commissioner said that Prakash and his friend arrested under IPC section 188, 269, 270 and 144. Later they were released on bail.

Mr. Patel also said Ms. Yadav has gone on sick leave an enquiry is undergoing into the incident.

World Cup for England meant everything for them. Exactly a year ago England won their first-ever World Cup at Lords under the leadership of Irishman Eoin Morgan. Eoin Morgan, the captain of English limited over side did everything he could and his efforts didn’t vain. Captain Morgan’s journey to the victory of his side is also something that everyone else should know right from his early career to the final ball of Jofra Archer in the historic final.

Early career

Morgan played U19 World Cup for Ireland.

Eoin Morgan has represented both England and Ireland at the international level and gained importance as a leader and dependent middle-order batsman in the side. He was the free stroke middle-order batsman in limited over format. He was born in Dublin, Ireland. At age of 17, played for Ireland U-19 team in the U-19 World Cup, later on, he finished as a second-highest run-getter in the tournament and raised his standard in the domestic arena.

International debut for Ireland

Morgan made his International debut for Ireland in 2006.

Morgan was consistent with the bat in domestic cricket and soon he got the opportunity to play for the national side. He made his ODI debut against Scotland in 2006. He was dismissed for 99 in his debut game and to date, he is the only player who was knocked out at 99 in history of the game. This knock was just the beginning of a great career, he went on scoring his first century for Ireland in 2007 and then he became the youngest non-sub continental player to score a century in ODIs. He also played the World Cup for his nation in 2007 but he failed to deliver at that big stage.

Playing for England

The Irish born quits playing for Ireland and got selected for the 2009 Wt20 for England.

The southpaw gained his importance in England’s domestic circuit when he played for England Lions in a tour match against South Africa. He decided to quit playing for Ireland and his credibility as a player and his extraordinary game sense helped him to take his place in the 15-man squad for the World T20 for England. The Irish born continued playing for England and he got his importance as a No.4 and No.5 batsmen. He also played 52 IPL matches.

Captaining the English side

Eoin Morgan journey to the victory of England is something that everyone else should know right from his early career to the final ball of the World Cup.
He captained England in 2015 World Cup.

In 2014 Morgan was assigned as a full-time captain English limited-over side. He captained England in the 2015 World Cup, where Bangladesh knocked his side brutally. The exit raised questions on his leadership but the English team management stood with him and kept faith with him. He led England in finals of Wt20 in 2016, where the West Indies dismantled his side in the final over.

Achieving the World cup dream

England won the World Cup for the first time.

Morgan and the team management eyed for the 2019 One Day World Cup. In the selection and the elimination process Morgan built a team that showed no scope of future results at the initial stage but as the time came by his team was the strongest competitor of the tournament. England won the 2019 World Cup and Morgan did something which many greats failed to do. First World Cup for England was the most awaited dream for the entire nation and Morgan was the man to accomplish the dream.

Nepal Prime Minister says “Real Ayodhya is in Nepal”.

On Monday Nepal PM Oli claims that Hindu lord Ram was born in his country not in India and Ayodhya is in fact a village near Kathmandu.

He also accused India of ” Cultural oppression an encroachment”. He said ”We still believe we gave Sita to Prince Ram but we gave the prince too, from Ayodhya, not India,” Oli said at a cultural programme at his residence. “Ayodhya is a village a little west of Birgunj, a district in Nepal that is around 135 km from capital Kathmandu. We have been oppressed a bit, culturally. Facts have been encroached on.”

”Marriage between bride and bridegroom at such a distance was not possible at the time when there was no communication and transportation system. The place called Thori, near Birgunj is the real Ayodhya, where Lord Ram was born. In India there is great dispute on Ayodhya. But, there is no dispute in our Ayodhya,” Prime Minister Oli was quoted as saying by his press advisor Surya Thapa.

BJP national spokesperson Bizay Sonkar Shastri said that the Communists in Nepal will be rejected by the masses in the same way they have been in India, even as Left parties in India played with people’s faith.

“Lord Ram is a matter of faith for us, and people will not allow anybody, be it Prime Minister of Nepal or anyone, to play with this,” he said in New Delhi.

CBSE class 12th topper scores 100%.

Divyanshi Jain a student of Navyug Radiance Senior Secondary school aced her English, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Geography and Insurance exams. Divyanshi Jain schools 100% marks in class 12th.

The Board has not released any merit list or toppers list more popularly known as this year as not all exams were conducted due to coronavirus pandemic. As per the CBSE Regional Officer Pryagraj Shweta Arora, “No CBSE student has scored 100% marks in all their subjects in the past.”

Ms Jain told news agency ANI, “In future, I would like to do research in history and learn more about our country’s past.”

Whatever I studied I revised to see how much I understood of the lessons,” she said, adding that careful analysis of what she had learned served her better than cramming.

“I also focused on revision and mock tests that helped me to score better,” she added, noting that she relied more on learning from NCERT (national council of educational research and training) books than subject guides.

“I prayed every day but also studied hard. I made notes for each subject and made sure that these notes were brief, so I could understand the lessons quicker and better,” she said.

Tushar said while talking to the media that as soon as he saw his result he could not believe his eyes. He thought it was an error. He said, “I refreshed the computer screen after seeing the result. I believed the marks only after somebody from the school called to inform me.”

His subjects were English, History, Political Science, Physical Education and Geography. He has full marks in all of them. “I don’t think one should get full marks in English because no letter or essay can be perfect,” said Tushar. The Bulandshahr boy could not appear in the geography exams as the exam was cancelled due to COVID 19 outbreak.

    On Monday Prime Minister Modi did a discussion with Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google.

    Later after meeting Pichai addressing the sixth annual edition of “Google for India” virtual event and announced a digitisation fund.
    Now, Google will invest rupees 75,000 crore in India over the next five to seven years.
    India has more than 500 million active internet users with more than 450 million using smartphone.

      In a separate announcement made at the Google-for-India event, the company said it will partner with 1 million teachers across 22,000 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools by December-end.

      “Prime Minister said that Indians are adjusting to and adopting technology at a rapid pace. He talked about farmers benefiting from technology and the possible wide-ranging benefits of AI in agriculture. Prime Minister explored the idea of virtual labs that can be used by students as well as farmers. Sundar Pichai briefed the PM about new products and initiatives by Google in the country,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.

      Taking it to Twitter, PM Modi wrote: “This morning, had an extremely fruitful interaction with @sundarpichai . We spoke on a wide range of subjects, particularly leveraging the power of technology to transform the lives of India’s farmers, youngsters and entrepreneurs”.

      He also stated that, “During our interaction, @sundarpichai and I spoke about the new work culture that is emerging in the times of COVID-19. We discussed the challenges the global pandemic has brought to areas such as sports. We also talked about the importance of data security and cyber safety.”

      “We’ll do this through a mix of equity investments, partnerships, and operational, infrastructure and ecosystem investments,” Pichai further stated.

      Rajasthan: Sachin Pilot says government is in minority.

      Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Chief Minister had claimed yesterday that he has 106 MLA’s on his side, which is five more than majority mark.

      Ashok claims he have support of 122 MLA’s including of Congress and 15 independent members and smaller parties.

      Sachin Pilot has changed alot in Rajasthan politics.

      Ramesh Meena and Vishwendra Singh are two Rajasthan ministers who are supposed to do camping with Sachin in Delhi.

      Gehlot’s count is currently 102 in which 90 are Congress MLA’s and 7 are independent and five are of smaller parties.

      Sachin Pilot is against Ashok Gehlot when series of incidents took place over half years.

      The most recent incident of Pilot being ignored by Ashok government was during Covid-19 crisis. Pilot was not part of the core team. Usually in every states deputy Chief Minister joins CM in holding meetings while Gehlot preferred holding it to himself.
      Supporters of Pilot posted a video showing 16 MLA’s sitting in a circle.

      Congress spokesperson Randeep Surejewala urged Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot to come and discuss issues with “an open mind” at Tuesday’s meeting. “The CLP meeting will be held on Tuesday. We request Sachin Pilot and all other MLAs to come. We will also give them in writing to come and discuss the issues,” said Surjewala on Monday night. “Doors are open for Sachin Pilot and other MLAs. They will be heard and solutions found. This is the discipline of the party,” he said.

      Losing her battle with breast Cancer, actress Kelly Preston died at the age of 57.

      After fighting for two long years from breast Cancer, At the age of 57, actress Kelly Preston died. Her husband Jhon Travolta said in a post on Instagram, sunday.

      It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.  My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.  But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal.       Breast cancer is the most frequent cancer among women, impacting 2.1 million women each year, and also causes the greatest number of cancer-related deaths among women.

      Kelly Kamalelehua Smith better known by her stage name Kelly Preston, was an American actress and model. She appeared in more than sixty television and film productions, most notably Mischief, Twins, Jerry Maguire, and For Love of the Game.

      Travolta said, “fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered”.

      They last starred together in the 2018 film “Gotti,”  with Travolta playing John Gotti and Preston playing the crime boss’s wife, Victoria.

      An interview of NCP Chief Sharad Pawar was published in the Sena mouthpiece Saamana. This was the first time in the 33-year history of Saamna that an interview of a non-Shiv Sena leader was published in the mouthpiece.

      Sharad Pawar said he does not agree with the notion that the state government and administration can function by “remote control”, during the interview.

      Answering questions posed by Saamna executive editor Sanjay Raut, he said NCP one should not take the public for granted as even leaders like Indira Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee had to face defeat.

      During the Maharashtra assembly polls last year, Fadnavis raged in his rallies claiming that he will come back to power as the Chief Minister. However, his plans failed after Shiv Sena joined hands with NCP and Congress to form the government in Maharashtra. 

      Criticizing the former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis “I will come again” rant during last year’s assembly elections, Pawar said voters thought the stance had an ego smell and Felt that these should be taught a lesson. Pawar also said that the news of differences between Uddhav Thackeray-led ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi’s ally – Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress – is “not even true”.
