Epstein Files: Former British Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the brother of King Charles, has been arrested by the United Kingdom Police on suspicions of ‘misconduct’ while being in public office. Andrew who is celebrating his 66th Birthday today was named in the recently released Epstein Files.

Epstein Files-The Royal Connection

Recently, UK former Prime Minister Gordon Brown had offered a damning account of how the Stansted Airport in the United Kingdom was abused by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to traffic Eastern European young women. Brown commented that Epstein used to move these young girls and women via private terminals at the airport where passenger logs were hardly kept and visa checks didn’t applied.

The ex-PM wrote in The New Statesman that Epstein used to fly young girls and women from Lithuania, Latvia and Russia via the UK’s Essex Airport. According to media reports, seven police officers were found to be involved in the conspiracy.

In the recently released Epstein Files, the flight logs of the Boeing 727 of Epstein or the Lolita Express made 90 flights from or to from airports in the country. Surprisingly, 15 of them happened after this Florida conviction in 2008 when he was framed for soliciting a minor’s prostitution. It would be tough for ex-prince to answer how a registered sex offender was allowed to easily fly from and in the British airspace without any alarm bells.

The King’s younger brother was recently stripped of his “Prince” title and was asked to leave the Royal Lodge, his Windsor mansion. A formal process was initiated by King Charles to remove all his princely titles. The links of Andrew to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein have embarrassed the Royal Family.

Surprisingly, Andrew’s dramatic fall includes his former wife Sarah Ferguson along with Beatrice and Eugenie, their children.

In a statement, Royal historian Kelly Swaby had commented that the statement by Buckingham Palace was “very brutal.”

The Delhi High Court granted interim relief after Rs 1.5 crore was deposited into the respondent’s bank account. As per the court’s order, the actor will remain out of custody until March 18, when the matter will be heard again.

The case dates back to 2010, when Rajpal Yadav reportedly borrowed Rs 5 crore from a Delhi-based businessman to finance his directorial debut, Ata Pata Laapata. The loan amount allegedly grew to Rs 9 crore over time. The businessman filed a complaint in 2018 against Rajpal Yadav and his wife, Radha, citing non-repayment. Ata Pata Laapata failed at the box office, further complicating matters.

Meerut Metro: The National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) has announced that lakhs of passengers who commute everyday between Delhi and Meerut would no longer be required to purchase different tickets for the Meerut Metro and the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail.

NCRTC would soon be implementing a single-ticket system that would save time and troubles for daily commuters like employees working in Delhi NCR region and businessmen among many who visit the region for different reasons.

The new ticketing system would help passengers travel directly to Ghaziabad or Delhi without buying different tickets from any station between Meerut South and Modipuram. Passengers could purchase tickets from any of the 13 stations between Meerut South and Modipuram (with Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul and Modipuram as the integrated stations) for travelling to Delhi or Ghaziabad (even Noida).

Meerut Metro-How To Avail The Single Ticket Scheme?

Passengers could now use the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) or buy a single ticket to avail this facility. Till now, passengers had to buy different tickets for the Meerut Metro and the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. This resulted in countless minutes getting wasted on standing in ticket queues.

How Would It Benefit Daily Passengers?

Passengers would now don’t have to browse through countless QR/UPI payments or app-based bookings via Namo Bharat Connect or other systems. It would also allow seamless interchanges at shared stations such as Begumpul. The passenger tagged IRCTC, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and the Ministry of Railways. She received an immediate response from IRCTC saying, ““Ma’am, our sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please DM your PNR and mobile number to enable us to address this.”

The Kerala Story 2 Controversy: The trailer launch of The Kerala Story 2 has sparked strong reactions across social media and political circles. Within hours, the film began trending online. While some viewers called it propaganda, others described it as a hard-hitting reality. Amid the debate, political leaders also stepped in with their views.

One of the most talked-about reactions came from Abu Asim Azmi, senior Samajwadi Party leader and father-in-law of actor Ayesha Takia. Azmi openly opposed the film’s narrative and questioned its portrayal.

Sab jhooth hai ke Musalman, Hindu ko pakadta hai aur fasata hai. Bilkul jhooth hai. Agar koi sabarjasti shaadi karta hai, toh usko zaroor saza di jaaye. Par sabarjasti koi fasata nahi hai. Yeh sab jo hai, woh sirf aur sirf Musalmano ko taklif dene ki baat hai.”

He also spoke about the wider social impact of such films. Azmi added, “Agar koi Hindu ladki se Muslim ne shaadi kiya toh usko aap maar dalenge jaanse, usko barbaad kar denge. Desh samvidhaan se chalna chahiye. Yeh jo mann maani chal rahi hai desh mein, main samajh raha hu paani sar se ucha ho raha hai.”

About The Sequel

Despite the controversy, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on February 27, 2026. Vipul Amrutlal Shah produces the sequel under Sunshine Pictures. National Award-winning director Kamakhya Narayan Singh takes charge this time.
