Rajasthan News: Minimum Labour Rates Hiked by 22-45 percent for 25 lakh state labourers! How Will This Impact State’s Economy?

Rajasthan News

Rajasthan News: In one of the most significant labour policy decisions in recent years, the Rajasthan government has announced a sharp increase in minimum labour wages, benefiting nearly 25 lakh workers across the state. The revised wage structure, which reportedly raises labour rates between 22 percent and 45 percent, is being seen as both a massive welfare-driven intervention and a major economic experiment.

For lakhs of construction workers, factory labourers, daily wage earners, sanitation staff and workers in small industries, the move promises long-awaited financial relief amid rising inflation. But for businesses already battling high operational costs, the decision could alter hiring patterns, project budgets and investment calculations.

Rajasthan News-Latest Updates

The wage revision comes at a time when Rajasthan is trying to position itself as a manufacturing and industrial hub under large-scale investment summits and infrastructure expansion.

According to labour-related notifications and wage revision frameworks issued by the Rajasthan Labour Department, minimum wages in the state are periodically revised based on inflation, skill category and sector-specific employment conditions.

How Will It Benefit The Labour Community?

Over the last few years, prices of food grains, cooking oil, transport, rent, healthcare and education have increased sharply. While inflation hit urban and rural households alike, the burden was disproportionately carried by informal workers earning barely enough to sustain their families.

The revised rates are expected to directly impact workers employed in construction, mining, stone cutting, engineering units, textile clusters, hospitality, transport services and local manufacturing industries in the state of Rajasthan.

The state’s labour economy is vast and deeply linked with sectors such as marble processing in Kishangarh, textiles in Bhilwara, handicrafts in Jodhpur, gems in Jaipur and tourism-driven service jobs in Udaipur and Jaisalmer.

Economists believe the increase could boost purchasing power in rural and semi-urban areas where daily wage labour forms the backbone of household income. This could translate into increased demand for consumer goods, housing materials, two-wheelers, mobile phones and local retail products.

Social policy experts believe that increasing labour income can have long-term developmental effects such as better nutrition for labour families, improved school attendance among children, reduced debt dependence, increased rural spending and fewer incidents of exploitation in informal sectors.

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann bows at Gurdwara Jyotisar Sahib, expresses gratitude for getting opportunity to enact strict law against beadbi

CM Bhagwant Mann

Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday joined the Sangat at Gurdwara Jyotisar Sahib to offer Ardas and express gratitude for getting the opportunity to enact the Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Act 2026, asserting that the stringent law has brought immense relief and satisfaction to the Panth and will ensure that no one dares to commit beadbi of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji again.

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann also launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led Centre, saying the country is witnessing how decisions are being dictated by the White House while central agencies are being misused to intimidate political opponents. Declaring that Punjabis have never bowed before pressure tactics, he asserted that the people of Punjab would give a befitting reply to every attempt to suppress democratic voices.

Sharing a few snippets on X, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann stated: “Today, I had the privilege of bowing in reverence during the bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib at the historic Gurdwara Sri Jyotisar Sahib (Sixth Patshahi). At this sacred place of Miri-Piri’s master, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, I expressed gratitude to Guru Sahib for blessing me with the opportunity to serve by enacting a strict law against beadbi. I also offered Ardas for Punjab’s Chardi Kala, for the well-being of all, and for rebuilding the state into a vibrant ‘Rangla Punjab’ once again. May Guru Sahib continue to shower his blessings upon everyone.”

Addressing the media after joining the Sangat, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said the entire Sangat across Punjab is expressing happiness over the passing of the historic legislation, which seeks to check incidents of desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. “Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was organised at the historic Gurdwara Sahib and he had come to join the Sangat in the Ardas,” he added.

The Chief Minister said that people from every corner of Punjab are organising thanksgiving paths after the enactment of the law as the legislation has deeply resonated with the sentiments of the people. He added that he is receiving numerous invitations daily to attend such religious gatherings. “The Almighty has bestowed upon me the service to serve humanity by enacting the Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Act 2026, which provides harsher punishment for beadbi. This law passed by the Punjab Government will ensure that no one ever dares to indulge in this unpardonable offence of desecration,” he asserted.

Reiterating the commitment of the AAP Government towards preserving the sanctity and respect of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said strict action will be ensured against anyone involved in sacrilegious acts. He affirmed that his Government remains deeply committed to Sikh values and public sentiments and that the law will act as a strong deterrent against such incidents in the future.

Responding to a question regarding recent appeals made by the Prime Minister to the people, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said the “master of jumlas” should speak the truth before the nation. “Itt has become evident that the strings of the country are today being controlled by the White House, with major decisions being taken only after its consent,” he noted.

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said that even during issues like the India-Pakistan conflict, the outcome was pronounced by US authorities, raising serious concerns regarding the sovereignty of the country. “Those who claim to make India a Vishav Guru are actually heading towards becoming Vishav Chela as directions from the White House are being blindly followed,” he stated.

Targeting the Centre’s economic policies, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said that despite tall claims regarding Make in India, policies like allowing FDI even in the defence sector have weakened the country’s interests. He cautioned that the proposed India-US trade agreement could inflict serious damage on Indian agriculture and adversely impact farmers.

On the ED raids in Punjab, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said the central agency is being blatantly misused by the Union Government to arm-twist political opponents. He stated that the ED has been reduced to a tool for threatening leaders of rival parties and suppressing democracy. “Punjabis have never bowed before such pressure tactics. The brave and wise people of Punjab will give a befitting reply to these attempts,” affirmed CM Bhagwant Singh Mann.

Agra News: Greater Agra Development To Redefine Regional Connectivity! Will Tundla, Etmadpur Madra And Kuberpur Residents Benefit From More Job Opportunities?

Agra News

Agra News: The Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently announced a series of development measures for the development of Greater Agra.

These include metro expansion high-speed rail and new railway lines to improve regional growth, which will improve the quality of life for the residents of Etmadpur Madra and Kuberpur while also offering them countless job opportunities.

According to real estate and market experts, the developments would boost industrial expansion, transport corridors, logistics and employment generation in belts such as Tundla, Etmadpur, Madra and Kuberpur.

Agra News-Latest Updates

The idea of Greater Agra represents an attempt by the Uttar Pradesh government to create an integrated and seamless urban ecosystem connected by expressways, freight routes, industrial clusters, residential townships and tourism-linked economic activity.

Significance Of Greater Agra For Uttar Pradesh

Agra already enjoys a geographical advantage few cities can match. It sits at the crossroads of major transport corridors connecting Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur and Gwalior.

Over the past decade, infrastructure projects such as the Yamuna Expressway and the Agra-Lucknow Expressway have dramatically improved accessibility. The Yogi Adityanath government is now looking at new ways to leverage connectivity in Agra to drive economic decentralization. This is primarily because major metropolitan regions across India, especially in the state of Uttar Pradesh are under pressure from congestion, rising land prices and overloaded civic systems.

Benefits For Tundla, Etmadpur Madra And Kuberpur Residents

A significant population of young people from Etmadpur or Kuberpur travel considerable distances for employment opportunities in Agra city. Limited industrial diversification means a large section of the workforce still depends on traditional sectors such as tourism, small manufacturing, agriculture and retail. Improved road networks, better public transportation and freight connectivity could fundamentally alter the equation.

A worker living in Tundla could potentially access industrial jobs within a shorter commute radius. Logistics parks near expressway intersections may create demand for drivers, warehouse supervisors, supply chain operators, packaging staff and maintenance personnel. Construction activity itself often becomes an employment engine, generating work for engineers, electricians, machine operators, daily wage labourers and local suppliers.

Experts also point out that infrastructure projects could help create secondary economic ecosystems. Restaurants, fuel stations, schools, clinics, hotels, transport agencies and retail chains could gradually expand into emerging corridors, resulting in countless job and small business opportunities.

Headphones Vs Earphones: Enjoying Music Or Slowly Turning Deaf? Health Expert Decodes Health Effects On Music Lovers

Headphones Vs Earphones

Headphones Vs Earphones: Today, people are plugged into headphones and earphones for hours. From morning workouts and office meetings to late-night binge watching and daily commutes, they have become an inseparable part of modern lives. People of all ages use them for listening to music, attending online classes, gaming, watching videos, taking calls or simply escaping surrounding noise. While this constant access to sound has made life more convenient and entertaining, health experts are increasingly raising concerns about the long-term impact on hearing health.

Warning By WHO

The World Health Organization has repeatedly warned that millions of young people worldwide are at risk of hearing damage due to unsafe listening practices. Unfortunately, most users ignore early warning signs such as ringing in the ears, temporary muffled hearing, ear discomfort, headaches and sound sensitivity.

One of the biggest debates among audiologists and wellness experts today is whether headphones are safer than earphones. Although both devices can damage hearing when used irresponsibly, experts generally believe that headphones may be the healthier option under proper listening conditions.

Earphones, especially in-ear models inserted directly into the ear canal, can expose delicate hearing structures to more concentrated sound pressure.

How Sound Affects Your Ears?

An incredibly delicate organ, the human ear has tiny sensory hair cells that convert sound waves into electrical signals for the brain. Once these hair cells are damaged, they do not regenerate. Prolonged exposure to loud audio could gradually destroy these calls, resulting in hearing loss, sound sensitivity, Tinnitus (ringing in the ears), reduced sound clarity, ear fatigue and difficulty in understanding speech.

Headphones Vs Earphones

One of the biggest advantages of headphones is that they do not sit deep inside the ear canal. Earphones, on the other hand, channel sound straight into the ear canal at close proximity. This concentrated exposure may increase the risk of hearing fatigue and long-term damage, especially at high volumes.

Earphones remain inside the ear canal for long durations, which may irritate sensitive skin and trap moisture. This may result in wax buildup, fungal infections, bacterial growth, ear discomfort and itching.

Experts commonly recommend the 60/60 rule that suggest you should listen at no more than 60 percent volume and for no more than 60 minutes at a time. Also, you should watch for signs such as ringing in the ears, muffled hearing after listening, ear pain, and sensitivity to sound, difficulty in hearing conversations, frequent need to increase volume and headaches after audio use. If you experience any of these signs, you should immediately seek medical intervention.

Diabetes: How To Prevent Hyperglycaemia With Diet And Lifestyle Changes? Top Health Expert Decodes Ancient Wisdom

Diabetes

Diabetes: In recent years, diabetes has quietly become one of the world’s fastest-growing lifestyle disorders. The disease that once was primarily associated with aging is now increasingly affecting younger adults, office workers and even teenagers. Thankfully, you can always count on the time-proven principles and benefits of Ayurveda to treat diabetes.

In a recently shared video on Instagram, Vaidya Chhavi Yadav explains the ways in which Ayurveda could help in treating or managing diabetes.

Why Modern Lifestyle Is Fuelling Diabetes?

Long working hours, stress, unhealthy eating habits, lack of physical activity and disturbed sleep patterns have created the perfect environment for rising blood sugar levels and metabolic imbalance.

Unfortunately, many people ignore early symptoms such as fatigue, excessive thirst, brain fog, cravings, frequent urination and sudden weight fluctuations. Interestingly, ancient healing systems like Ayurveda recognized the dangers of poor lifestyle habits thousands of years ago. Ayurvedic texts described conditions similar to diabetes, linking it to sedentary living, excessive sleep, improper food combinations, overeating and weak digestion.

Possible Causes Of Diabetes

  • One of the biggest contributors to modern diabetes is prolonged inactivity. Sitting for long hours reduces calorie burning, weakens metabolism and increases insulin resistance. Ayurveda has always emphasized regular movement to maintain healthy circulation and digestion. Lack of physical activity allows fat accumulation and metabolic stagnation, increasing the risk of hyperglycaemia.
  • Sleeping during the day may slow digestion, increase heaviness in the body and impair metabolic efficiency. It may also contribute to weight gain and sluggish circulation.
  • Without exercise, excess glucose remains unused, eventually increasing insulin resistance and weight gain. Ayurveda traditionally recommended daily walking, yoga, stretching and physical labour to maintain balance in the body.
  • Exercise acts like a natural medicine for blood sugar control. Physical activity helps muscles utilize glucose more efficiently, reducing sugar accumulation in the bloodstream.
  • Foods that are oily, excessively processed, fried, sugary or difficult to digest can burden the digestive system. According to Ayurveda, weak digestion creates toxin buildup, which interferes with normal metabolic functioning.

Eat meals at regular times, avoid overeating and reduce processed foods. Engage in light strength training, stretching after meals and brisk walking. Avoid late-night screen exposure, maintain consistent sleep timings and avoid heavy meals before bed.
