Cause Of Fire

The Ghaziabad Fire Department has confirmed the cause of Crossings Republik Market fire as a short circuit.

Local residents were seen helping the firefighters to extinguish the blaze.

Two Fire Incidents Reported In Noida

In another development, two different fire incidents happened on Monday in Noida. No injuries were casualties were reported in either incident.

The first incident happened at a company in Sector 6 under Phase 1 in the morning hours. Fire officials were immediately called and responded swiftly to contain the blaze within no time. Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar commented that 5 fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot and a short circuit was the likely cause of the fire.

In another incident, fire broke out in Phase 2 at about 2pm. The fire involved a pile of plastic waste and several other related materials. Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar commented that 6 fire tenders were deployed immediately to douse the flames.

Just a few days back, more than 500 jhuggi jhopdis were burnt after fire out in Indirapuram’s Kanawani area, preceded by a massive fire breakout in Lucknow.
