On Saturday, MS Dhoni smashed the longest six of IPL 2024 that hit the roof of the Chinnaswamy stadium. It was vintage Dhoni at his best and even though CSK lost, he and Ravindra Jadeja fought till the end.
What made this six even more special is that this might be the last six of his career. The rumors and doubts about him retiring are getting stronger and we might get that surprise announcement by him that everyone dreads very soon.

In the final over, Chennai needed 17 runs to qualify for the play offs. Dhoni was on strike with Yash Dayal getting the last over. The first ball was going to be crucial to determine where this match will go.
Dhoni made sure to take charge as he smashed the first delivery for a mammoth 110-meter six over third man. The ball hit the roof of Chinnaswamy stadium as the CSK fans on the ground went berserk over the six.
Last Six?
The thing that might sting Dhoni and every fan is that this might be his last six in professional cricket. With reports coming on how injured Dhoni really is, he might not play in the next season of IPL.
He needs to get some surgery done as he was playing on basically a single leg. If that is the case then this six is even more special. If MS Dhoni plans on retiring, we might see another emotional video by Dhoni on Instagram soon.
