Jasprit Bumrah: A good news for the Indian Cricket Team camp is that Jasprit Bumrah might return for the upcoming Ireland T20 series. It was reported a few days ago that Shreyas Iyer and Bumrah will return for Asia Cup 2023.
But according to the News18 report, we will see the premium fast bowler in action before that. Bumrah has been out of the Indian squad for almost a year now. He played his last match for the Blues in September 2022.
He has missed major tournaments like the Asia Cup, the ICC T20 World Cup, the World Test Championship final, and even the entire IPL 2023. But now he is back to bolster the Indian squad bowling and is eyeing the Ireland series as a warmup for Asia Cup.
Looks Good For Ireland Series
An official told News18 that Bumrah is looking good for the Ireland series. It will be a huge boost for team India and give Bumrah a perfect warm-up before the Asia Cup. It will be good to have Bumrah in the middle after so long, stated the official.
Jasprit Bumrah has been in rehab in the NCA under the guidance of VVS Laxman and the Head Sports Science and Medicine Department, Nitin Patel.
