UPT20 League: Rinku Singh is the best finisher in the world right now. We saw his brilliant hitting skills in the IPL match where he hit 5 sixes in the last over. He also helped KKR finish many matches in the 2023 season.
His hitting skills were displayed in his international debut as well. He just annihilated Ireland bowlers in the last 2 overs. He came at a time when the Indian team was in dire need of a finisher.
Rinku Singh keeps on proving his worth as he just showcased his vintage-hitting avatar in the UPT20 league. Rinku is playing for Meerut Mavericks and decided to show his best in the super over that will be remembered for years.
Intense Match
The match between Meerut Mavericks and Kashi Rudras went super over after both teams were equal in the normal playing time. Both teams made 181 runs in the given 20 overs where Rinku Singh had an underwhelming outing scoring just 15 runs out of 22 deliveries before getting dismissed.
Kashi Rudras made 17 runs in the super over with Karan Sharma and Mohammad Sharim taking charge. It was a big target to chase in just 6 deliveries, but Rinku Singh had different ideas.
Vintage Rinku Singh
Shiva Singh took the ball for Kashi and the decision was looking right when Rinku missed the first delivery. But the second delivery was hit for a six over long on and after that, he was in no mood to stop.
The third delivery was a full toss and the KKR batsman accepted the gift generously for another six. The last delivery of the match was a short ball outside off stump and Rinku sent it outside as well. Meerut needed this win after an underwhelming start to the UPT20 League.
