His career with the Indian cricket team has been filled with several match-winning and classy knocks. He also holds similar records in the IPL as well. He has two centuries onto his name, with the last one coming in the 2019 season, where he remained unbeaten at 105.
Ajinkya Rahane hits classy ton
Ajinkya Rahane’s swashbuckling century came against Delhi Capitals in Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The Royals, after winning the toss, elected to bat and sent Ajinkya Rahane and Jos Buttler out as openers. Rahane, who had been struggling for form, was under pressure to deliver. He did not disappoint, as he scored a century and led his team to a massive score of 191 for 6.
Rahane reached his century in just 58 balls and remained unbeaten at the score of 105 runs off 63 balls. Throughout his knock, he smashed 11 boundaries and three sixes as he continued to score runs at a high pace. This was his second ton in the tournament, while the first one came way back in the year 2012.

Along with Rahane, Steve Smith also smashed a valiant fifty from just 32 balls and took the team’s to score 191/6 in 20 overs. However, this proved to be an easy chase as Rishabh Pant hammered 78 runs off 36 balls, while Dhawan also hit 54 runs off 27 balls and they won the match with 4 balls to spare.
