He emphasised the substantial improvements in the state's infrastructure, including better roads, hospitals, and schools. Singh attributed these advancements to the effective governance of Nitish Kumar, highlighting the major positive changes in the state.

This call for the Bharat Ratna comes amid political tensions, especially following remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the leadership for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections in 2025. Shah's comments sparked speculation about the BJP’s position on Nitish Kumar's leadership. Despite rumors about Nitish Kumar’s discontent and health concerns, both the BJP and JDU have reiterated that the NDA will contest the 2025 elections under his leadership.
