Weather Update April 2 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that two active western disturbances are likely to influence weather systems over India’s northwest region. It was also predicted that several parts of Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Meerut and Hastinapur are likely to witness light to moderate rain showers along with gusty winds.
It was also predicted that maximum temperatures could see a gradual rise of approximately 2-5 degrees Celsius in the states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal.
Weather Update April 2 2026-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana Weather Update
Several parts in the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana are likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall till April 6. Rain showers accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms are also likely to strike Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Haldwani, Roorkee, Kashipur, Rudrapur, Kotdwar, Pithoragarh, Almora, Nainital, Mussoorie, Champawat, Bageshwar and Tehri may experience intermittent rain showers and thunderstorms, especially in the early morning and late night hours.
Jammu & Kashmir Weather Update
Several parts in Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Baramulla, Kathua, Sopore, Pulwama, Kupwara, Udhampur, Kulgam, Poonch, Rajouri, Bandipora, Ganderbal and Doda are likely to witness rain showers and snowfall.
Himachal Pradesh Weather Update
Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Solan, Mandi, Kullu, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Chamba, Una, Kangra, Nahan, Palampur, Keylong and Kasauli are likely to experience bone-chilling cold waves.
Madhya Pradesh Weather Update
Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, Ratlam, Dewas, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Chhindwara, Vidisha and Sehore may experience a drop in minimum temperatures accompanied with rain showers.
Rajasthan Weather Update
Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Sikar, Pali, Sri Ganganagar, Bhilwara, Tonk, Nagaur and Chittorgarh may receive moderate rain showers, hailstorms and thunderstorms.
