Meerut News:The issue of Uniform Civil Code is raised by the Mayor of Meerut. He said that those who are opposing Uniform Civil Code are opposing the issues which are beneficial for our society. The mayor was discussing the issue of Uniform Civil Code on the completion of nine years of the Modi Government. There were other issues also discussed during the meet like what all has been done by the Modi Government in the past 9 years.
‘The country has developed under PM Modi’
The Mayor said that something which was not achieved in 6 decades has been achieved in 6 years under the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In 2014, Highways were built at a speed of 12 kilometres per day, but today they are being at a speed of 40 km per day. Toilets have been built in all the villages. 1121 lakh metric tonnes of food was given to people free of cost.
‘People opposing UCC are Anti-Nationals’
The Mayor said that people who are opposing Uniform Civil Code are Anti-Nationals. Our country’s law works for every religion. We will also run an awareness campaign about the Uniform Civil Code.
