People of Bihar will be happy as second Namo Bharat Train to be launched soon. First Namo Bharat Train in Bihar is currently running between Patna and Jayanagar. Route for second Train is not final but in consideration.

Indian Railways is planning second Namo Bharat Train route in Bihar. There are two options in consideration: Patna-Buxar and Patna-Gayaji. Indian Railways is considering these two new routes for the Namo Bharat (earlier Vande Metro) train in Bihar as launch of the Patna-Jayanagar last month. Viabilities of operating the train between Patna and Buxar or Patna and Gaya are being assessed for expanding high-speed connectivity in the Bihar At current, the Namo Bharat train from Jaynagar stops at Patna Junction around eight hours. It arrives Patna at 10 am and departs for Jaynagar around 6 pm. As per officials, this idle time offers an opportunity to utilize the train on an additional short route. . “No final decision has been made yet,” said Aadhar Raj, Additional Divisional Railway Manager of the Danapur Division. “The train will be run on the route that proves most practical and convenient.”
About First Namo Bharat Train in Bihar
The first Namo Bharat train was inaugurated on April 24 in Bihar by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This train is currently running from Patna to Jaynagar. The train and route were designed for short-distance route in urban areas. The fully air-conditioned Namo Bharat Train currently runs six days a week. Its fares are from Rs 85 to Rs 340. It provides convenient journey to the commuters.This train halts with at Patna Junction railway station for 8 hours. Indian Railways is considering to use this idle time for new route.
People of Bihar to get second Namo Bharat Train route in the state. It will start from Patna and will go up to Buxar or Gayaji, depends on finalization of route. It will help to connect more places and convenient travel.
