Punjab News: It can be seen that Punjab has been in the grip of drug addiction for many years. Previous governments tried to decrease this social evil but significant efforts could not be seen from them and hence no significant results were found. However, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has put lot efforts against drug abuse in the state since it came in power.
CM Bhagwant Mann Seeks Cooperation from the Public
The Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab has already launched a campaign against drug addiction in the state and many efforts are being done to stop this social evil. To move further in this direction,CM Bhagwant Mann has made a special appeal to the people of the state. CM Bhagwant Mann has sought cooperation from the people of Punjab through the account of AAP Punjab on the social media platform X.
Through the post on X, CM Mann told people to make a colorful Punjab. Further he said that they are erasing the stigma of drug abuse on Punjab due to the collusion of previous governments and are also taking steps to curb corruption. He asked cooperation from public to make the campaign against drug more successful .
What More is Said by CM Bhagwant Mann?
Bhagwant Mann has shown his commitment to end drug abuse in Punjab state and efforts in this direction can be seen in his public meetings many times. The Punjab Police is also taking forward the campaign against drug abuse very seriously and is continuously arresting those promoting drug abuses in the state. Any method which is required or useful to decrease or end the drug addiction in the state is being followed by Punjab government.
CM Bhagwant Mann also told on X that Congress had won its first councilor after 45 years and BJP had got 2 seats in Parliament after 26 years. Due to the love of the people, his 10-12 year old party has a huge public support. He told in another post that in the Niti Aayog meeting held under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he strongly advocated for Punjab and asked to give Punjab its due rights, which contributes 40 percent to the grain storage of the country.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann asked for cooperation from the public in the fight against drugs in the state. Bhagwant Mann also asked benefits for the development of state from central government in its Neeti Aayog meeting .
