Rajasthan News: Modi Unveils ₹45,000 Crore Projects During Rajasthan Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jaipur to address the ‘Ek Varsh-Parinam Utkarsh’ program, marking the Rajasthan government’s first anniversary. During the event, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 24 projects worth over ₹45,000 crore, focusing on electricity, water, roads, and railways.

A key highlight was the launch of the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (PKC-ERCP), which aims to resolve the water crisis in 21 districts of the state.

Praising Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma's leadership, PM Modi said, “This first year has laid a strong foundation for Rajasthan’s future growth.” He emphasized the projects' role in addressing water challenges, boosting connectivity, and enhancing investment opportunities, ultimately creating jobs and supporting tourism, farmers, and youth in Rajasthan.

PM Modi also recalled his recent visit for the Investment Summit, noting the participation of leading national and global investors.

Also in a significant event marking the first anniversary of the Rajasthan government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed a symbolic ritual at the holy confluence of the Parvati, Kalisindh, and Chambal rivers. The ceremony was held at Dadia village in Sanganer, Jaipur, with the ritual conducted through a ceremonial *kalash* (sacred urn), symbolizing the confluence of these three revered rivers.
