Kanpur, 31 Oct. According to police, three people—including a minor—died in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, from breathing hazardous gases. When the incident happened, they were dismantling a septic tank’s shuttering.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) (West), Vijay Dhull, Nandu and Mohit used to work with Sahil as a laborer to shutter septic tanks. He stated that they had been to the Bithoor region to remove the shuttering from an abandoned septic tank that had been constructed recently.

Sahil entered the tank first and passed out. According to Dhull, Nandu and Mohit attempted to save him but collapsed as well. He said, “Firefighters cut apart the tank to free the three.”

According to the DCP, physicians at the Lala Lajpat Rai hospital declared Nandu, Mohit, and Sahil dead after they were transported there.

If the families of the victims decide to complain, a case will be opened, according to Dhull.
