Weather Update May 7 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the states of Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh are likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall. Northeastern states like Assam, Manipur, Assam and Mizoram are also likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall along with violent thunderstorms.
Delhi NCR, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir And Himachal Pradesh Weather Update
Kanatal, Khirsu, Peora, Munsiyari, Chaukori, Pangot, Abbott Mount, Didihat, Kausani, Gwaldam, Patal Bhuvaneshwar, Kalap, Osla and Sankri are likely to witness snowfall and rainfall at many places. Char Dham devotees may witness troubles ahead as snowfall is likely to continue throughout the day.
Gurez Valley, Doodhpathri, Yusmarg, Bangus Valley, Lolab Valley, Warwan Valley, Chatpal, Karnah, Machil, Dachigam, Kishtwar, Sanasar, Basohli and Rajouri are also likely to witness similar weather conditions.
Hastinapur, Meerut, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Delhi are likely to experience a pleasant day with a slight possibility for moderate rainfall, accompanied by hailstorms and thunderstorms.

Shukratal, Bateshwar, Mahoba, Kalinjar, Kampil, Piprahwa, Barua Sagar, Devgarh and Ayodhya may experience a dip in maximum temperatures.
Punjab Weather Update
Talwara, Dholbaha, Gurusar Modia, Faridkot Fort area, Sheesh Mahal Patiala, Tibba village, Shahpur Kandi, Dhar Kalan, Nangal and Goindwal Sahib may experience bone-chilling cold waves, especially during the late night hours.

Tamia, Patalkot, Amarkantak, Shivpuri, Datia, Sonagiri hills, Udayagiri, Asirgarh, Barwani, Kukshi, Tawa, Jaitpur, Garhakota and Rehli residents may expect violent thunderstorms and moderate rainfall during late evening and night hours.
