Weather Update April 23 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted hot and sunny days ahead for Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Several parts in Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh along with Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal are likely to stay under IMD’s yellow heat alert along with Delhi NCR.

Kanina, Ladwa, Loharu, Naraingarh, Narnaund, Lehragaga, Machhiwara, Julana, Kalanaur, Jind, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Nilokheri, Pataudi, Rania, Dirba, Garhshankar, Goraya, Jaitu and Khamanon are likely to experience yellow heat alert like conditions. Residents are advised to stay indoors and avoid going out, especially during the afternoon hours.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Beed, Pune, Satara, Kolhapur, Nanded, Latur, Dharashiv, Parbhani, Hindoli, Raigad, Jalna, Nashik, Dhule and Sangli may experience rainfall with thunderstorms.

Delhi NCR and Uttar Pradesh Weather Update

Hastinapur, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar, Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Greater Noida, Meerut, Baghpat and Gurugram are likely to face temperatures up to 42-44 degrees Celsius.

Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir And Himachal Pradesh Weather Update

Poonch, Rajouri, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Srinagar, Rishikesh, Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat, Haldwani, Roorkee, Almora, Pithoragarh and Rudrapur are likely to experience pleasant weather conditions throughout the day, with a slight possibility of rainfall during late evening or early morning hours.

Sitarganj, Bageshwar, Ghumarwin, Jogindernagar, Sarkaghat, Palampur, Baijnath, Augustmuni, Dharamshala, Mandi, Solan, Kullu, Una, Nahan and Kangra are also likely to witness similar weather conditions.
