The footage, shared widely across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter), highlights yet another disturbing trend where reckless youth risk lives for fleeting online fame. Despite strict traffic regulations, such dangerous behaviour continues to surface, sparking widespread concern.

The incident was brought to light when a user named Dinesh Tripathi posted three separate clips under the caption: “Lucknow, alas, this deadly stunt and hooliganism... the series continues as usual! The same posh area Gomtinagar, where the only son of ACP lost his life in an accident.”

In the first Lucknow viral video, a group of youth is seen standing atop a Thar car roof, dangerously close to a police barricade at night. The second video captures a white car speeding recklessly down the road, with one youth hanging out of the side window and two others emerging from the car's sunroof. The group appeared to be performing stunts without regard for traffic laws or public safety.
In the third video, a Mahindra Thar is seen attempting a dangerous drift manoeuvre on the road. The situation escalates when two wheels of the car lift off the ground, almost causing the vehicle to overturn.
Lucknow Police Respond to Viral Video of Reckless Youth
After widespread outrage, the Lucknow police responded in the comment section of the viral post, stating:
“The matter has been taken cognizance of by higher authorities. Identification is being done through CCTV/viral videos. Necessary legal action will be taken once the identification is done.”
The response indicates that officials are taking the Lucknow viral video seriously and aim to trace the youth involved using available surveillance footage.
