It has been confirmed that Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi will not be reuniting for the much-awaited 3 Idiots sequel. However, they have come together for a new project – promoting a cricket betting app that features actors competing against cricketers. In a new video promo for Dream 11, Aamir, Madhavan, and Sharman can be seen holding a press conference where they take jibes at cricketers for venturing into the world of acting by appearing in multiple television commercials. They then announce that they, in turn, will be entering the world of cricket.

Rohit Sharma roasts Aamir Khan

Aamir humorously says, “Toh humne socha ye log acting mein busy hain to cricket hum kar lete hain” (So we thought since these people are busy in acting, we’ll take up cricket).

The video features several cricketers laughing and mocking the three actors for their cricketing ambitions. Rohit Sharma humorously points out, “Lagaan mein cricket khelke koi cricketer nahi ban jata” (Playing cricket in Lagaan doesn’t make you a cricketer). Madhavan then mockingly highlights how Aamir has given ‘real hits’ in his career, to which Rohit responds, “2 saal mein ek hit deke koi Hitman nahi ban jata” (Giving one hit in two years doesn’t make you a Hitman). However, the video also features reactions from various cricketers who mock the actors for their idea of playing cricket. Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin humorously comments, “Bolne ke liye paisa nahi lagta hai bhai” (You don’t need to pay money to talk).

When the actors try to showcase Aamir’s ₹300 crore films, Jasprit Bumrah humorously questions if they can ever face 150 kmph delivery on the cricket field. R Madhavan says ‘ab hum inki field mein ghusenge.” Hardik Pandya adds that it can be tough on the field as he says, “ek bouncer aayega, zameen pe aajaoge.” They gives challenge to the cricketers to play cricket with them and Rohit Sharma accepts the challenge.

The sequel of 3 Idiots is not coming

While fans may be disappointed that the trio won’t be reuniting for a 3 Idiots sequel, this new project certainly promises to be entertaining. It will be interesting to see how the actors perform on the cricket field and how the cricketers react to their antics.
