Viral Video: After Liz Truss, the UK’s prime minister, announced her resignation on Thursday, the country was once again engulfed in severe instability.
Truss succeeded Boris Johnson, who was also forced to retire earlier this year after a spate of blazing issues. Truss had only been in office for 45 days, the shortest period of time for any British prime minister.
Trevor Noah’s Video goes viral amid ongoing crisis in UK
A video by South African comedian Trevor Noah is becoming viral online as Britain is beset by one political crisis after another.

In the video, Trevor is heard saying that India, a former British colony, should take the UK’s place since it colonised it and caused it to get into a serious crisis.
Although the film was originally released in 2019, during which time Britain was experiencing a Brexit crisis, its significance was still apparent in 2022.
In the video, Trevor adds, “I think one of their former countries should just colonise them at this point since things in Britain are so horrible.”
India should visit England and say, “Look, look, look, we hate to tell you this, but you people can’t rule yourselves. We have to fix everything, jokes Trevor.
