Viral Video: SDRF team rescues Kawariya From Drowing in Haridwar

The Kanwar Yatra has started in the month of Sawan. Kanwariyas are reaching Haridwar in large numbers to collect Gangajal. There is great enthusiasm among the devotees of Lord Shiva to lift the kanwar. It is believed that Bholenath is pleased by lifting the kanwar. That’s why kanwariyas are ready to take any kind of trouble to fulfill their wishes. In Haridwar, kanwariyas from other states including UP, Delhi-NCR, Haryana are reaching Harki Paidi to collect Gangajal. A large number of kanwariyas have gathered at Harki Paidi to collect Gangajal.

Kanwariya drowned while taking Gangajal at Harki Paidi

Accidents are often reported while taking Gangajal. On Wednesday too, Kanwariya, who went to collect Gangajal, started drowning in the river. It was a matter of pride that the SDRF team saw the Kanwariya flowing in the fast current of the Ganga. Without delay, an SDRF jawan jumped into the waves of the Ganges. The jawan saved the Kanwariya from drowning without caring for his life. People praised the jawan for taking out the kanwariya safely from the banks of the Ganges.

SDRF jawan set an example of bravery

Kanwariya has taken place in the form of Manjeet, a resident of Haryana. The accident happened near the Kangra bridge. While taking a bath on the banks of the Ganges, a kanwariya suddenly came under the strong current of water. After falling into the river, the kanwariya started drowning. SDRF team has been deployed at Kangra bridge for the safety of Kanwariyas. An SDRF jawan saw a kanwariya drowning in the river. He saved Kanwariya from drowning by jumping into the waves of water without delay. The bravery and understanding of the SDRF jawan is being appreciated. This time about four crore Kanwariyas are expected to reach Haridwar.
