Donald Trump: United States President Donald Trump has announced that the US could possibly end the Iran war within 2-3 weeks even if no deal is finalized. On the contrary, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remarked that Israel would keep pushing its military campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran to crush the country’s terror regime.

The announcement by Trump brought the much-awaited rejoice for global markets but the common man’s wallet is weeping. Globally, the prices of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders and other supplies have surged dramatically.

Donald Trump-Iran’s Reply

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, commented that the country is open to bring an end to the ongoing Middle East crisis if the United States and Israel guarantee that things would not escalate again. This was after Trump hinted that the United States could stop waging a war against Iran even if a deal is not reached.

Previously, Donald Trump threatened to intensify military operations if Iran didn’t accept a 15-point ceasefire framework within a stipulated period of time. The framework listed halt of all uranium enrichment, fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz and no to nuclear weapons by Iran.

Trump later announced that the United States of America is not responsible to ensure that every country in the world gets oil and gas supplies through the Strait of Hormuz. The US President said those countries should either purchase oil and gas from the United States or find their own ways to get supplies via the Strait.

UAE Calls For Multinational Force

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has urged the international community to create a multinational force to break the chokehold of Iran on the Hormuz Strait. The traditionally neutral stance of UAE shifted after the Islamic Republic of Iran bombarded UAE more than any country in the Middle East.

According to market analysts, member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) are likely to slip into recession in 2026. It is expected that economic contraction of minus 0.02 percent is likely, from a pre-war GDP growth projection of 4.4 percent.

Presently, UAE is hoping that that a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution would help in authorizing a multinational force to reopen the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
