Donald Trump: United States President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to allies, especially the United Kingdom, to arrange for oil supplies on their own from the Strait of Hormuz or buy from the United States.

Trump expressed anger at NATO allies that refused his call to join the US Israel Iran war. The US President said in a social media post that countries such as the United Kingdom that refused to be a part of Iran’s decapitation have two choices: either to go to the Strait of Hormuz or buy from the United States of America.

Donald Trump-Iran Desalination Plant Destroyed

In another development, Iranian ministry official Mohsen Farhadi remarked that airstrikes on Tuesday have destroyed a desalination plant on the Qeshm island of Iran in the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Farhadi added that it is presently not possible to repair the desalination plant in the short term.

The largest Gulf Island, Qeshm stretches for approximately 100 kilometres across the Hormuz. In recent years, it has become a popular destination among tourists from all parts of the world because of its rare UNESCO-listed turquoise waters and rock formation. The island is also heavily militarized.

On March 8, Bahrain reported a strike on its facility by the Islamic Republic of Iran in an apparent retaliation by Tehran to a hit by the United States on Qeshm the day before.

On Monday, Iranian attacks by electricity and desalination plant were reported by Kuwait that Iran blamed on Israel.

Complete Destruction Warning By Trump

On Monday, Trump had issued a warning to Iran that it would destroy all of the country’s desalinization plants, oil wells and power infrastructure if a suitable deal is not finalized within the next 10 days.

The Middle East region is among the world’s driest regions and many countries in the Gulf count on desalination plants for industrial and domestic water supplies.
