Imran Khan Summoned by Balochistan High Court in hate speech case, Hearing Postponed for Two Weeks

Imran Khan: The arrest warrant for former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan was suspended by the Balochistan High Court on Friday, so he won’t be detained for two weeks in connection with a case involving hate speech.According to the source, the arrest warrant was suspended while a Quetta police squad arrived in Lahore to arrest Imran Khan in accordance with a local court ruling.

Head of Balochistan Police Summoned as Imran Khan Hearing Postponed

The report continued that in addition to delaying the warrant, the high court summoned the head of the Balochistan police. After that, the hearing was postponed for two weeks. In a case of incitement against state institutions, a court in southern Pakistan on Thursday issued an arrest order for Imran Khan that is not subject to a bond requirement. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader must be detained and brought before the court, the judge further ordered the authorities.

Imran Khan Accused of Profiting from Government Gifts
