Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer Tere Ishk Mein is set to hit theatres on November 28, 2025. Ahead of its release, advance bookings are showing a strong response, indicating a promising opening this Friday. The film has already crossed Rs 45000 in pre-sales and might target 1 lakh before the final day.

Tere Ishk Mein Advance Booking Report

By 11 am today, around 46,156 tickets were sold across 5,113 shows in India. Pre-sale collections have reached Rs 2.69 crore, including blocked seats. Maharashtra leads the pre-sale charts with Rs 24.25 lakh from 1,030 shows, followed by Delhi with Rs 19.23 lakh from 725 shows. These numbers suggest that fans are eager to see the film as soon as it hits theatres.

Since the trailer’s launch, Tere Ishk Mein has created a lot of buzz online. Fans have been sharing their reactions, and AR Rahman’s music has further added to the anticipation. Early trends indicate that the film could earn a good amount from pre-release ticket sales alone.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved Tere Ishk Mein without any visual edits. Only a single word in the dialogue was changed. On November 24, the film received a U/A 16+ certificate. The runtime is 169 minutes and 17 seconds (2 hours, 49 minutes, 17 seconds). The certificate allows the film to retain its strong romantic and action sequences.

Directed by Aanand L Rai, Tere Ishk Mein is a musical romantic drama and a spiritual sequel to the 2013 film Raanjhanaa. The story follows Shankar (Dhanush), an angry young man hurt by love, and his college classmate Mukti (Kriti Sanon). Their relationship faces challenges when Mukti decides to marry someone else. The film explores Shankar’s emotional struggles and the impact of unfulfilled love.

The film marks the first collaboration between Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. Announced in June 2023 for the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa, Kriti joined the cast in January 2025. The film was shot in locations including Delhi, Benaras and Shri Ram College of Commerce.

With a reported budget of around Rs 90 crore, including Rs 75 crore for production and Rs 15 crore for print and advertising, the project has invested heavily in its lead stars. Dhanush reportedly received Rs 25 crore, while Kriti Sanon earned Rs 6 crore. The positive response to the teaser and trailer has heightened expectations for a strong box office performance.
