The clip quickly spread across social media, with many users praising the chemistry between Samay Raina and Badshah. However, what grabbed the most attention was Samay bringing up Badshah’s old Tateeree controversy and mocking his apology.

In the video shared on May 1, Samay Raina is seen boarding Badshah’s private jet, reportedly heading to Thailand. Instead of admiring the aircraft, Samay immediately started joking about it. Looking at the small plane, he said, “Yeh kaisi flight hai bhai?”
He then followed it up with a dark joke that left Badshah laughing hard. Samay said, “Mere saare favourite artists aise hi mar gaye hain.”

Samay Raina then brought up Badshah’s Tateeree controversy, which had earlier created backlash over its lyrics and visuals. The song had faced criticism from many sides before being taken down. Taking another dig, Samay asked Badshah, “Aap ko toh darr hi nahi lagta hai bhai. Toh maafi kyu maangi?”
Meanwhile, Samay Raina will appear on a special World Laughter Day episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show tonight, Saturday, May 2, 2026. The episode will stream on Netflix India at 8 PM IST. This much-awaited episode will feature an unexpected reunion with podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps. It will be their first on-screen appearance together after the India’s Got Latent controversy in 2025.
A viral promo clip shows Samay reacting with surprise when Ranveer is revealed as the guest. He says in a funny way, “No way, bro.” This joint appearance also puts an end to all the rumours of a rift between Samay and Ranveer.
