The Tata Nexon has received a 5-star safety rating from the global NCAP, while the new Maruti Brezza (the facelifted version to be launched in 2022) is yet to undergo a crash test. It has both petrol and diesel engine options. Its 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces 120 PS/170 Nm. Its 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine produces 115 PS/260 Nm

It is mated to a 5-speed manual/AMT gearbox. The Nexon gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof, automatic AC, rear air vents, digital instrument cluster, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) Features like ABS and ISOFIX child seat mounts come with EBD.
