Citroen C3 new Shine variant launched for THIS much, gets a rear camera and powered mirrors, all you need to know

Citroen C3: The C3 Shine is a new top-tier variation of the C3 hatchback that Citroen has released in India. The new Shine variation, which starts at Rs 7.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), has a few crucial features that were previously lacking from Citroen's first vehicle for the Indian market.

New engine

The Citroen C3 Shine is BS6 Phase II compliant in terms of its powertrain. It only has one engine option, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit with a 5-speed manual gearbox that produces 81 bhp of power and 115 Nm of peak torque.

Citroen C3 new features

The updated top model comes with extra features such a rearview camera, fog lamps, a rear wiper and washer, a rear defogger, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, a day/night adjustable inside rearview mirror, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. The 10.24-inch touchscreen has also been modified and now boasts 'My Citroen Connect' connected car capabilities. The technology is now available on the internal combustion model in addition to the all-electric eC3.

Price in India

The car's starting price (ex-showroom) for the 1.2P Shine trim is Rs 7.60 lakh, while its highest price (ex-showroom) is Rs 7.87 lakh for the 1.2P Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack variation.
