Outbreak of Dengue is increasing, 1530 dengue cases have been reported in Delhi

After Corona, now the outbreak of dengue is increasing. Many people are getting infected. The situation has become such that it is becoming difficult to control dengue in many states. In such a situation, the Union Health Ministry has sent central teams to nine states and union territories. This team of experts will provide technical guidance to the state team. For this, a letter has also been sent to the principal secretaries of these nine states and union territories, stating that the Center has decided to send a team of experts for prevention of dengue. The team includes officials from the National Center for Disease Control and the Mosquito-Borne Disease Control Program.

The central government has selected such states for the expert team, where dengue is getting out of control. These states include Haryana, Punjab, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir. Many cases of dengue are being reported in all these places.

So far this year, 1530 dengue cases have been reported in the country’s capital Delhi. Out of this, 1200 cases have been reported only in October, which is the highest in the last four years. After this, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had directed the Health Secretary to send a central team to the states where there is a high incidence of dengue.

Pune in Maharashtra has reported 168 dengue cases in October. In September, 192 patients were confirmed. In Chandigarh, 33 people have lost their lives due to dengue so far. More than 1000 patients have been confirmed in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, of which 68 percent cases have been reported in October.
