Comedian Kunal Kamra has found himself in the crosshairs of Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena after his remarks on Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena Chief Eknath Shinde. Reacting strongly, party MP Naresh Mhaske labeled Kamra a "hired comedian" and accused him of making comments against their leader for monetary gains.

Shiv Sena’s Strong Warning to Kamra

Mhaske further warned Kamra, stating that "Shiv Sainiks will show him his place" and that he would not be allowed to move freely, not just in Maharashtra but across India. He also took a jibe at Shiv Sena (UBT) and leader Sanjay Raut, suggesting that the faction had no party workers left and was resorting to hiring individuals like Kamra for political attacks.

Kamra’s Past Run-ins with Political Figures

Kunal Kamra is no stranger to political controversies. He has previously courted legal trouble for his critical remarks on various leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the judiciary. His outspoken stance on political matters has often led to bans, legal notices, and social media uproars.

Political Tensions Between Shiv Sena Factions

The conflict between Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) has been intensifying since the party’s split. Both factions have been engaging in a war of words, with accusations flying back and forth. Kamra’s latest remarks seem to have added fuel to the ongoing battle, drawing sharp reactions from the Shinde camp.

Uncertainty Over Kamra’s Response

As of now, Kamra has not responded to Mhaske’s warnings. Given his history, it remains to be seen whether he will offer an apology or continue his satirical criticism of political leaders. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leaders have made it clear that they will not take such remarks lightly.
