Article 370 Review: Yami Gautam Shines in Compelling Political Drama, PM Modi Reacts

Article 370 Review: The makers of the movie Article 370, which stars Yami Gautam and was directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, produced by Aditya Dhar, and features Priyamani in a supporting role, explain how Article 370 was repealed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promotion of the movie brought attention from the general public. 

Story

Article 370 the movie is Aditya Suhas Jambhale’s interpretation of all the events that conspired in the abrogation of the Article 370 on the 5th of August, 2019. While Yami Gautam plays NIA officer Zooni Haksar, Priyamani portrays Rajeshwari Swaminathan, the lady responsible for assigning the task of repealing Article 370 to Zooni Haksar. The story of how Article 370 was abrogated is shown very systematically in 6 parts.

Performance

Yami Gautam portrays NIA Officer Yooni Haksar with a great deal of assurance. Her performance truly reflects her heart and soul, and it comes through. Her action sequences throughout the movie deserve recognition. Priyamani is fantastic in the role of Rajeshwari Swaminathan. She is a perfect fit for the powerful role supported by the author. Yash Chauhan, played by Vaibhav Tatwawadi, does a good job during his brief on-screen appearance. In the role of Indian Prime Minister, Arun Govil plays it. In addition to performing with restraint, he exudes charisma. The Home Minister is portrayed by Kiran Karmakar. He becomes the star of the group and steals the show. 

Why you should watch it?

Discussions about Article 370 have been going on, and director Aditya Suhas Jambhale’s film presents a very interesting and captivating political dramatisation of the subject. You’re captivated and captivated through to the very end. The final forty-five minutes of the movie are significantly improved by the parliament scene. Aditya keeps a firm grasp on the subject and, more crucially, manages to make the film simple enough for people who are not familiar with all the technical jargon to understand.

There is a noticeable sense of tension in Article 370’s action scenes, which are expertly shot. It’s edited pretty decently. The usage of background music is excellent and improves the movie. Every actor gives a performance that is on par with the storytelling. This film is not going to hurt your sentiments despite being on a sensitive topic.
