Farhan Akhtar birthday: Farhan Akhtar’s birthday was made a little more special by his sister Zoya Akhtar. Late Monday night, the director surprised Farhan’s followers with a rare childhood photo. Zoya tweeted an old monochrome photo of Farhan with a simple caption. To say the least, the birthday boy is adorable. She wrote in the caption, “Birthday Boy. I♥️You More Each Year ♥️ #favboy #wishyouhealthpeaceandhappiness.”
Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar’s wife, was among the first to react to the photo. “The cutest,” she remarked, praising the actor-director. Farhan was also wished by Abhishek Bachchan, who left a heart emoji in the comments section. Take a look at this:
Farhan made his debut as a writer, director, and producer at the age of 26 with the 2001 film Dil Chahta Hai. He is the son of Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, both screenwriters. His acting career began with the film Rock On!! (2008). For his portrayal in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), he got two Filmfare Awards, including Best Supporting Actor. In the 2013 film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, he played Milkha Singh. He also directed the films ‘Don’ and ‘Don 2’.
Fans await Jee Le Zara update
He is presently preparing to direct ‘Jee Le Zaraa,’ a road-trip drama starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif. The film was unveiled last year under the brand Excel Entertainment, written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti in partnership. Fans are waiting for update of the multi-starrer film as it will be the first time that Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif are coming together.
