Pulak Kumar Sur answers all of the questions correctly and earns a spot on the hot seat. Amitabh Bachchan, the host, congratulates him and asks how he is feeling. The contestant responds by explaining that he is overjoyed to be here and that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Big B then asks him the first question, which is worth Rs 1000.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 14: Pulak Kumar describes his son as ‘hero’
The contestant selects option B and correctly answers the question. The episode continues with Big B interviewing the contestant about his life. The contestant breaks down and shares that his son was 7 years old when he was diagnosed with brain cancer, and it was discovered within four days that he was in the fourth stage. He goes on to say that his son’s illness has made their lives miserable for several years. He is then interrupted by a video call from his son. Pulak describes his son as his “hero,” and he wishes him well.
Furthermore, Pulak’s wife claims that they have fought their most difficult battle. Big B comforts them and wishes them well.
