On April 1, she shared a video on Instagram to clear the confusion. A day earlier, her photos had gone viral, leaving fans shocked and curious.

In the video, she said, “Guys, thank you so much for your lovely wishes. But I am not pregnant. Today is April Fool’s Day. It was a prank. There is a war going on, the whole world is in the stress. I thought I would entertain you a little.”

She further added, “I am Poonam Pandey. It is my right to shock you. Don’t take life so seriously. Just chill a little.”

The buzz started when Poonam Pandey posted pictures showing what looked like a baby bump. She used emojis like babies, milk bottles, and a pregnant woman, which made the post look real.

In one of the images, she was seen smiling while posing with the bump. However, many fans were confused because she had not shared any news about a pregnancy before this.

Some users also pointed out that she was spotted in Mumbai recently and did not look pregnant. Later, when she shared the same images on X, it showed a note that they were “Made with AI,” which confirmed that the photo was fake.

This is not the first time she has created such buzz online. In February 2024, she shocked everyone with a post claiming she had died due to cervical cancer. A day later, she revealed it was a campaign to spread awareness about the disease.

Poonam Pandey has often stayed in the headlines for bold statements and controversial moves. She first gained attention during the 2011 Cricket World Cup when she promised to strip if India won.
