The premiere of Jugnuma in Mumbai turned into a laugh riot when Manoj Bajpayee was caught in a funny situation on stage. Actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma (along with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap) surprised him by touching his feet. The moment left Manoj laughing non-stop, and the clip has since gone viral on social media.

In the video, Manoj was seen greeting his colleagues during the event. Vijay Varma first hugged him warmly, but Jaideep Ahlawat took it a step further and suddenly bent down to touch Manoj’s feet. The unexpected gesture made Manoj burst into laughter.
Things got funnier when Anurag Kashyap and Vijay joined in. Anurag bowed so low that his head almost touched Manoj’s shoes, while Vijay clung to his leg, making it hard for him to move. Manoj tried to free himself, but the playful moment had the entire crowd laughing.
After the lighthearted act, all four shared hugs and smiles, showing their close bond. Manoj looked stylish in a colourful shirt with a brown jacket and trousers, while Jaideep and Vijay twinned in black shirts and denim. Anurag kept it casual in a striped shirt and olive-green pants.

Manoj Bajpayee Gears Up For Jugnuma
While the funny moment grabbed attention, Manoj is also preparing for the release of his next film Jugnuma (The Fable). Directed by Raam Reddy, the movie is set in the late 1980s and follows Dev (played by Manoj), who discovers mysteriously burnt trees in his family’s orchards in the Himalayas. Despite his efforts to stop the fires, the destruction continues. This forces him to confront the reality of his life and family.
The film also stars Tillotama Shome, Deepak Dobriyal, Priyanka Bose, Awan Pookot and Hiral Sidhu. Backed by Guneet Monga and Anurag Kashyap, Jugnuma will release in cinemas across India on September 12.
