Salaar 2: The buzz around Prabhas is heating up again on social media. This time, it is not only about his films. It is also about the timing of the news around them. After The Raja Saab failed badly at the box office, many online users believe that his team is trying to shift attention. First it was Spiritm, and now it’s Salaar 2!

From fresh updates about Spirit to sudden noise around Salaar 2, netizens feel a pattern is forming. Fans are excited, but critics are questioning the motive. Many are calling it a clear damage-control move.

The Raja Saab received strong backlash after its release. Viewers criticised the film, and Prabhas also faced trolling. Much of the negativity focused on his performance and reports of a body double being used. As the criticism grew louder, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced Spirit’s release date as March 5, 2027. The news quickly changed the mood online.

Just days later, Salaar 2 started trending again. This surprised many fans and raised fresh questions.

Prabhas Focuses On Big Pan-India Films Amid The Raja Saab Failure

Despite the failure of The Raja Saab, Prabhas has not slowed down. He remains committed to large-scale pan-India cinema. This has been his path since Baahubali, and he continues to follow it.

The actor is currently busy with multiple projects. These include Fauzi and Spirit. A few other films are also in different stages of planning. Prabhas is also expected to return in two major sequels, Salaar 2 and Kalki 2.

The first Salaar (directed by Prashanth Neel) had an average run in theatres. However, it performed much better on OTT platforms. Over time, the film gained a loyal fan base. Many viewers liked its raw tone and mass appeal. Prabhas’s intense avatar also received praise.

The makers had already confirmed that Salaar would have a sequel. Since then, fans have been waiting for updates. Recently, reports claimed that a Salaar 2 announcement teaser could be released on January 25 or 26. There has been no official confirmation yet. Still, the rumours alone were enough to spark excitement and suspicion online.

Salaar 2 Buzz Triggers PR Speculation Online

A Reddit user questioned the sudden trend and wrote, “Why is the Salaar 2 teaser suddenly trending again ahead of Jan 25, 2026?”

Several users shared strong reactions in the comments. One wrote, “Prabhas is facing huge negativity due to The Raja Saab movie, mainly due to the dupe issue and also fans are quite disappointed. So this is just a PR tactic to boost the image of Prabhas and divert everyone from RajaSaab’s flaws. Also observe a pattern on Insta:- meme pages (500-2K/ post) suddenly posting the same meme regarding Salaar 2 teaser.”

Another user commented, “PR intention is just to divert the fans towards upcoming projects so that they will forget the recent flop movie.”

A third user wrote, “His PR is underrated.” Another added, “When I see the PR posts being put out for Salaar and Spirit because Prabhas’s looks and acting are being heavily trolled, it honestly makes me laugh. They are doing so much PR just for this itself.”

Meanwhile, trade sources suggest that early script work and pre-production talks for Salaar 2 may have started. However, this has raised doubts. Prashanth Neel is currently busy shooting Dragon with Jr NTR. Because of this, some insiders claim the rumours are exaggerated.

According to inside reports, Salaar 2 is unlikely to go on floors this year. The project may begin next year. A 2028 release is possible, but nothing is certain yet.

Mann Government Launches ‘Gangsters te Vaar’; War Level Action Against Organised Crime Begins: Baltej Pannu

Punjab News

AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu on Tuesday said that Punjab Police has formally launched the ‘Gangsters te Vaar’ campaign, marking the beginning of a decisive and large-scale war against organised crime in the state. Addressing a press conference at the party office, Pannu said this campaign reflects the strong political will of the Mann government to completely uproot gangsterism from Punjab.

Pannu said that after the successful and determined ‘War Against Drugs’, Punjab Police has now shifted focus to organised crime. He stated that under the anti-drug campaign, many major and minor smugglers were arrested, huge quantities of narcotics were seized, and both the supply chains and street-level networks were broken to a large extent. Being a border state, Punjab faces constant attempts from hostile forces across the border to push drugs, and the government responded firmly by installing anti-drone systems to stop cross-border smuggling.

He said that the ‘Gangsters te Vaar’ campaign has been launched at a war footing after deep planning and assessment, and it is one of the biggest and most serious crackdowns against gangsterism anywhere in the country. From Tuesday morning itself, multiple raids were conducted across the state by coordinated police teams, yielding initial results, with more significant outcomes expected within the next 72 hours.

Baltej Pannu said the word “gangster” entered Punjab’s vocabulary only about 15-18 years ago. Earlier, small criminals were simply known as ‘badmash’. He said that between 2007 and 2017, gangsterism was deliberately promoted, young boys were pushed into this culture, and incidents of extreme violence peaked during that period. He cited several grave incidents, including attacks on police personnel, abductions, and the Nabha jail break, as reminders of that dark phase.

He alleged that during the Congress government, no real action was taken to curb gangsterism. Instead, a gangster from Uttar Pradesh was lodged in a special jail in Punjab under political patronage, forcing the UP government to approach the Supreme Court to regain custody. Pannu said it is no secret how traditional political parties nurtured gangsters for personal gains and abandoned them later, and even today, some people continue to indirectly support gangsterism.

Referring to the Tarn Taran bypoll, Pannu said giving a ticket to a gangster’s family member was nothing but encouragement to gangster culture. He asserted that the Mann government is determined to clean Punjab of this menace.

Sharing details of Tuesday’s developments, Pannu said gangster Money Prince was killed in an encounter in Amritsar after opening fire on police during an arrest attempt. The operation continued for several hours. In another encounter in Mandi Gobindgarh, Fatehgarh Sahib, a gangster was injured in the leg after firing at police and is currently undergoing treatment. He has around nine FIRs registered against him, including cases under NDPS and robbery. These, he said, are only two examples of the ongoing action.

Pannu said that the crackdown will continue relentlessly until gangsterism is completely eliminated from Punjab. He warned that gangsters who issue threats or demand extortion will be answered in the same language. Quoting Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, he said, “If a gangster fires bullets, he will not be answered with lullabies.”

He added that Punjab Police is also coordinating with the Central Government regarding gangsters sitting abroad, and full preparations for extradition are in place. Dossiers have been prepared and shared, and Punjab Police will pursue criminals across states and countries within the ambit of law.

Appealing to the public, Pannu urged Punjabis to cooperate with the police. He said a dedicated helpline number 93946-93946 has been issued, assuring complete confidentiality for informers. Those providing credible information leading to action against gangsters will be suitably rewarded. He added that police personnel showing exceptional bravery and results under this campaign will also be rewarded by the Punjab government.

Praising Punjab Police, Pannu said it is counted among the best police forces in the world, and there should be no doubt about its capability or commitment.

Concluding, Baltej Pannu said gangsterism and drugs are poisonous weeds planted by previous governments. “Whether it is the war against drugs or ‘Gangsters te Vaar’, these are battles to clean Punjab of the thorns left behind by past regimes. This requires strong willpower, and that willpower lies firmly with the Mann government. The Chief Minister has made it clear, anyone who takes the law into their own hands, threatens peace or harasses the people of Punjab, will not be allowed to roam freely,” he asserted.

Bhagwant Mann Launches ‘Gangsters Te Vaar’ Campaign, Anti-Gangster Helpline Issued in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday announced the launch of a large-scale crackdown against organised crime under the campaign ‘Gangsters Te Vaar’, signalling a zero-tolerance approach towards gangsterism in the state. Along with the campaign, the Punjab government also rolled out a dedicated anti-gangster helpline number 93946-93946 to encourage public participation in the fight against crime.

Under the state-wide operation, nearly 12,000 police personnel deployed in around 2,000 teams have been conducting raids and intelligence-based operations across Punjab. The drive aims to dismantle gangster networks, arrest key operatives, and break the support systems that allow organised crime to flourish.

No Place for Gangsterism in Punjab: CM Bhagwant Mann

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann made it clear that gangsterism will not be tolerated in Punjab under any circumstances. He stated that those taking the law into their own hands should remember that they will receive no protection and will face direct and strict action. The campaign, he said, will continue relentlessly until gangsterism is completely eradicated from the state.

Helpline for Public, Rewards for Informers

To strengthen the campaign, the government has appealed to citizens to share information related to gangsters through the newly launched helpline. Informers providing credible inputs will be rewarded with cash incentives, ensuring anonymity and safety. This move is expected to help law enforcement agencies act swiftly on real-time intelligence.

Incentives for Police Personnel

The Punjab government has also announced rewards for police personnel who perform exceptionally well during the operation. The initiative aims to boost morale within the force and encourage proactive policing at the ground level.

Towards a Gangster-Free Punjab

The ‘Gangsters Te Vaar’ campaign is being viewed as one of the most extensive anti-crime drives undertaken in Punjab in recent years. With coordinated police action, public cooperation, and strong political will, the Mann government has reiterated its commitment to making Punjab a gangster-free state.

Anurag Dhanda Claims AAP Ready to Challenge BJP in Gujarat, Shares Survey Ahead of 2027 Elections

The political temperature in Gujarat is rising well ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections, with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) signaling an aggressive push in the state. AAP leader Anurag Dhanda has asserted that the upcoming election will be highly competitive, claiming that his party is steadily emerging as a strong alternative to the ruling BJP.

Anurag Dhanda: Survey Indicates Growing AAP Presence in Gujarat

Citing findings from a recent survey titled Pulse of Gujarat 2026, Anurag Dhanda said that AAP’s influence in the state has expanded significantly. According to the survey, the party is gaining public support and positioning itself as a credible challenger in Gujarat’s political landscape. Dhanda emphasised that AAP will contest the 2027 Assembly elections with double the strength and determination.

AAP Positions Itself as People’s Voice

Sharing his political assessment, Dhanda stated that the BJP’s dominance in Gujarat for nearly three decades continued largely due to the absence of a strong alternative. He alleged that the Congress failed to effectively challenge the BJP, creating space for AAP to step in as the voice of the people. He added that the latest survey reflects a clear shift in voter sentiment toward AAP.

Vote Share Signals Tough Electoral Battle

The survey reportedly suggests that AAP has secured a vote share close to 25 percent, indicating a significant rise compared to previous elections. Political observers believe this could make AAP a decisive factor in the 2027 Assembly polls, potentially leading to a triangular contest and a tougher fight for the BJP.

Clear Signals Ahead of 2027 Gujarat Elections

With strong claims and supportive survey data, Anurag Dhanda’s statement is being seen as an early declaration of AAP’s intent to reshape Gujarat politics. As parties begin preparations well in advance, the 2027 Gujarat Assembly election is expected to witness an intense and closely watched political battle.

Cancer Risk: THIS One Night Habit Millions Follow Could Be Slowly Harming You, Doctor Warns – Check Video!

Sleeping with Phone near you can raise Cancer risk

Cancer Risk: Most of us end our day the same way. Lights off, phone in hand and scrolling endlessly before sleep. It feels harmless and normal. But what if this everyday habit is quietly affecting your health in ways you don’t realise?

In a video shared on Instagram, Cancer Healer Doctor Tarang Krishna issues a strong warning about a night routine many people follow without a second thought. His message has caught attention because it points to a possible long-term cancer risk linked to sleeping with your phone near your pillow.

Sleeping With Your Phone Raises Cancer Risk

In the video, Dr Tarang Krishna urges people not to ignore the issue. He explains that keeping your phone close to your head while sleeping could be dangerous over time. According to him, this habit may slowly increase your risk of serious health problems.

He also refers to statements made by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The WHO has previously noted that long-term exposure to high levels of electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation, which mobile phones emit, may increase the risk of cancer. Prolonged exposure has also been linked to a higher chance of brain tumours in some studies.

Doctor Krishna stresses that while phones are a part of modern life, how and where we use them matters. Keeping the device close to your head for hours every night may not be a wise choice.

How Blue Light And Stress Add To The Cancer Risk

The concern does not stop at radiation. Another major issue is blue light. Doctor Krishna explains that the blue light coming from mobile screens interferes with sleep. It keeps the brain alert when it should be resting.

Phones are designed to hold attention. Apps like Instagram and Facebook are built to keep users scrolling. This constant stimulation increases mental stress and prevents deep, restful sleep.

Over time, poor sleep and chronic stress can weaken the body. According to the doctor, this combination may slowly push the body towards serious health risks. The danger is that this process is silent. You may not feel anything wrong until much later.

A Small Change That Could Make A Big Difference

Doctor Tarang Krishna’s advice is not to take your phone into the bedroom. Keep it away from your pillow and your head while sleeping. Even small lifestyle changes can help reduce unnecessary exposure and improve sleep quality.

While more research continues in this area, the warning has made many people rethink their night habits. Sometimes, protecting your health starts with changing one simple routine before bedtime.

If a small step today can reduce a future risk, it may be worth paying attention to.

Bhagwant Mann Govt delivers major relief to farmers, approves ₹68.50 per quintal subsidy on sugarcane

Bhagwant Mann

Farmers stood at the centre of a high-performing Cabinet meeting on Tuesday as the Punjab Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, approved a ₹68.50 per quintal direct subsidy out of the fixed State Agreed Price (SAP) for sugarcane growers, reinforcing Punjab’s position as the state offering the highest sugarcane price in the country.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by the Chief Minister, which also delivered a series of significant approvals spanning healthcare reform, public fitness initiatives and urban governance, underlining a decisive, outcomes-driven policy push by the government.

Disclosing the decisions taken by the Cabinet, the Chief Minister’s Office stated that the subsidy of ₹68.50 per quintal out of the fixed State Agreed Price will be paid directly to sugarcane farmers on behalf of private sugar mills for the crushing season 2025–26. Punjab already offers the highest State Agreed Price for sugarcane in the country at ₹416 per quintal, reflecting an increase of ₹15 from the previous year. This ensures that Punjab’s cane growers remain the best compensated in the country and the present decision will further strengthen income security for farmers.

As part of the Punjab government’s sustained focus on public health and wellness, the Cabinet also approved the creation of 1,000 additional posts of Yoga Trainers under the ‘CM di Yogshala’ project. It was stated that a budgetary provision of ₹35 crore will be made for this initiative during the financial year 2026–27, aimed at promoting a healthy and fit Punjab.

In another key decision to strengthen healthcare services, the Cabinet approved the complete transfer of Civil Hospitals at village Badal in Muktsar district, Khadur Sahib in Tarn Taran district, Community Health Centre Jalalabad, and the Tertiary Care Centre in Fazilka district to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot. The transfer will enable residents of these areas to access improved treatment and diagnostic services, leveraging the university’s advanced medical infrastructure and expertise.

The Cabinet also accorded approval for formulation and notification of directives under Section 4 of the Punjab Management and Transfer Municipal Act, 2020, to facilitate the transfer of municipal properties belonging to Punjab government departments, boards, corporations, and other public sector undertakings for public purposes. This decision is expected to give fresh momentum to development projects across the state, ensure uniformity in land allocation, and prevent misuse of public land. A committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district will recommend the allotment process, subject to approval by the state government.

To accelerate development through optimal utilisation of land resources, the Cabinet approved a policy for transfer by sale or exchange of abandoned and active paths (rastas) or water courses (khals) located within all government-licensed projects inside municipal limits. This policy is aimed at unlocking stalled development potential and improving urban planning outcomes.

The Cabinet also approved extension of the time period for PAPRA (Punjab Affordable Property Registration Act) licensed projects by one year, from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026. The extension will be granted at an extension fee of ₹25,000 per acre per year, for a maximum period of up to three years, and will be allowed by the concerned competent authorities on the same terms and conditions applicable earlier.

In another decision relating to urban development, the Cabinet approved the formula used for calculation of charges for additional Floor Area Ratio for properties proposed to be put up for auction from January 2026 onwards. It also approved amendments to Para 10.2 of the E-Auction Policy 2025, notified on February 20, 2025, making the revised provisions applicable to all categories of properties to be auctioned by development authorities in future.

The Cabinet further approved amendments to the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994, by inserting Rule 6A. The amendment stipulates that the cut-off date for determining eligibility criteria, including minimum educational and other qualifications, shall be the last date for submission of application forms, unless specifically provided otherwise in the relevant service rules.

In a forward-looking move to promote crop diversification, the Cabinet also approved collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency for introducing Japanese technology to strengthen Punjab’s horticulture sector. The collaboration will focus on horticulture development, cold chain infrastructure, water management, and skill development, with the objective of doubling the share of horticulture in Punjab’s economy.

Budget 2026: ICAI Proposes Family-Friendly Joint Taxation System For Married Couples? Mixed Reactions And Renewed Scrutiny Ahead!

Budget 2026

Budget 2026: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has proposed the concept of joint taxation for married couples in India.

In countries like Germany and the United States, joint tax filing for married couples has been a successful and established practice.

Ahead of Union Budget 2026, the approach of joint taxation has been drawing mixed reactions and renewed scrutiny from financial and tax experts. Many experts are of the view that India’s present-day tax system does not fully reflect today’s household economics as it does not recognize a husband and a wife as a single financial unit.

Budget 2026-What’s The Proposed Framework?

The ICAI proposed that a household’s combined income should be assessed under a single, distinct tax slab system. By doing this, family tax liabilities could be brought down, especially for families where one partner earns significantly higher than the other. Moreover, joint tax filing can help couples make efficient and constructive usage of deductions on health insurance premiums, home loans and other forms of eligible tax-saving investments.

The ICAI proposed that married couples with valid permanent account numbers (PANs) should be allowed to file a single (joint) return and have the option of being taxed together. It was also recommended that the basic exemption limit under this unique form of taxation should be doubled.

Would It Happen?

If accepted and announced by Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister of India, in the Union Budget 2026, this form of taxation could be a game-changer, drawing massive savings, investments and economic development.

Presently, the idea may not immediately translate to execution as incorporating such a taxation practice can take years of thoughtful planning and execution. However, many believe that it may happen this year or in the near future.

The budget session for Indian Parliament starts on January 28 and would continue till April 2. The Union Budget 2026 would be presented on February 1.

Kozhikode Viral Video: A bizarre yet highly poignant video from Kerala is taking social media platforms by storm. In the video, men travelling in crowded buses can be seen wielding cardboard sheets like makeshift “shields”. Passengers and even the bus conductor can be seen holding large pieces of cardboards in front of them to avoid any form of accidental physical contact with women.

The video has ignited heated discussions on public transport woes, false sexual harassment accusations by women in India and gender tensions.

What is the Kerala Viral Video About?

In the Kerala viral video, many male passengers and a male bus conductor can be seen travelling in a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus. Men can be seen clutching their cardboards firmly with their eyes darting nervously as the bus sways through traffic.

Social Media Reactions

Many social media users praised the ingenuity behind the video. Supporters hail it as “smart self-preservation,” with one X user quipping, “Better safe than sorry in crowded KSRTC!”

What Caused The Video Creation?

The video was made in response to a false accusation of sexual harassment by a woman for a few likes on social media. Deepak U, a 42-year-old man in Kerala’s Kozhikode, killed himself after he was wrongly accused of sexual molestation on a public bus. The man was found hanging on Sunday morning by his family members.

His family said Deepak went in connection with his official work to Kannur and a woman recorded a video alleging sexual molestation. The clip by woman has now been deleted. The video went on to receive more than 20 lakh views and was also seen by Deepak. The parents of Deepak remarked their only son could not bear the public humiliation that the video caused. The family said they will soon submit a complaint to the Chief Minister seeking prompt justice. The female influencer shared an explanatory clip where she could be seen defending her stance. She then made the video private.

SBI Research

SBI Research: India is all set to receive the status of an upper middle income country by the end of the current decade, as per an analysis by the State Bank of India (SBI). Additionally, gross domestic product (GDP) of India has been revised to 7.3 percent from the previous prediction of 6.6 percent by the IMF.

The Gross Per Capita Income of India is likely to hit $4,000 to bring it in line with countries such as Indonesia and China as per the latest classification of the World Bank cited by the SBI report.

What Does the SBI Research Says?

India is likely to overtake Germany to become the world’s third-largest economy by 2028. Presently, the United States leads the top slot followed by China.

It was noted by SBI that it took almost 6 years for India to make a transition from low income to the lower middle income category in the year 2007 with GNI rising from $90 in 1962 to $910 in 2007. The country doubled to $2 trillion by 2014, another trillion by 2021, reached $4 trillion by 2025 and is likely to reach $5 trillion in the next two years. The per capita income of India is likely to reach $3000 in 2026 and $4000 by 2030 that would place it in the upper middle income category.

IMF’s World Economic Outlook (January 2026 update)

According to IMF’s World Economic Outlook (January 2026 update), the gross domestic product (GDP) of India has been revised to 7.3 percent from the previous prediction of 6.6 percent. The upward revision is primarily due to a reflection of stronger-than-expected growth in the third quarter followed by a powerful momentum in the fourth quarter.

The report added growth of India is expected to moderate to 6.4 percent in 2026 as well as 2027 as cyclical and temporary factors wane.

Interestingly, the growth rate of the global economy is pegged at just 3.3 percent in 2026 and 3.2 percent in 2027.

The per capital GNI of India would have to expand at a Compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.5 percent if it wants to achieve the current high-income country per capita gross national income threshold of $13,936 by end of the year 2047.

Bhagwant Mann Launches ‘Operation Prahaar’ to Crack Down on Gangsters Across Punjab

The Punjab government has launched a major statewide crackdown against organised crime under ‘Operation Prahaar’, marking a decisive offensive against gangsters and their support networks. The operation has been initiated under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, with the aim of restoring law and order and ensuring public safety across the state.

Bhagwant Mann Launches ‘Operation Prahaar’ to Crack Down

As part of the operation, more than 12,000 police personnel have been deployed across Punjab, operating through nearly 2,000 police teams. These teams have been tasked with conducting coordinated searches, raids, surveillance operations, and intelligence-based actions to dismantle gangster networks at every level.

The Punjab Police have been directed to take strict action not only against gangsters operating within the state but also against those controlling criminal activities from outside Punjab or even from abroad. Authorities have made it clear that geographical boundaries will not shield criminals, and action will be taken wherever necessary to neutralise threats.

Focus on Network Disruption and Youth Rehabilitation

Operation Prahaar is focused on breaking the entire ecosystem that enables organised crime, including financiers, weapon suppliers, extortion rackets, and local operatives. The government has emphasised that the campaign is not limited to arrests alone but aims at permanently dismantling criminal structures.

At the same time, the Mann government has appealed to misguided youth to abandon the path of crime and return to the mainstream. The administration has reiterated its commitment to providing opportunities in education, skill development, and employment to prevent young people from falling into criminal networks.

Government’s Commitment to Law and Order

The Punjab government has stated that maintaining peace and security remains a top priority. Operation Prahaar is being seen as one of the most extensive anti-gangster drives undertaken in the state in recent years, reflecting the government’s zero-tolerance approach towards organised crime.

Income Tax News: ITR Refund Delayed: Key Reasons and What Taxpayers Should Do

Income- Tax- News
Google

Income Tax News: Income tax refund delays continue to trouble many taxpayers even after their returns show “processed” status. While the Centralised Processing Centre (CPC) has improved refund timelines, issues such as data mismatches, incorrect deduction claims, or discrepancies between filed returns and Form 26AS/AIS are emerging as major causes of delay.

ITR Refund Delayed: Key Reasons

In several cases, refunds are held up due to income tax notices triggered by system-flagged inconsistencies. Bank-related issues like incorrect account details, inactive accounts, or failure to pre-validate the bank account can also prevent the refund from being credited.

Income Tax News: What to Do If Your Refund or Interest Is Delayed

Tax experts suggest that verification should be the first step. Taxpayers must check the refund status on the income tax portal, review any notices issued, and respond within the stipulated time. It is also important to ensure that the bank account linked to the PAN is pre-validated and active.

If the issue persists despite compliance, taxpayers can raise a grievance through the income tax e-filing portal or contact the CPC for further clarification. Staying proactive and regularly tracking return status can help resolve refund delays faster.

Taxpayers should also ensure that their PAN is correctly linked with Aadhaar and that the bank account selected for refund is active and pre-validated. In cases where the refund is determined but not received, a refund reissue request can be raised through the portal.

If the delay continues despite completing all formalities, taxpayers can file an online grievance with the Centralised Processing Centre or contact the income tax helpline for assistance. Regularly monitoring communications from the tax department and keeping personal and financial details updated can help avoid prolonged refund delays.

Whey Protein Test: Buying whey protein is not easy, especially if you are a student or someone on a tight budget. You save money, compare brands, and trust what is written on the label. But what if the numbers on the pack do not match what is actually inside?

That is exactly why Trustified, India’s first and only 100% blind testing certification programme, decided to step in. After receiving multiple concern emails from users about protein percentages, Trustified conducted a detailed Whey Protein Test to check protein accuracy in two popular products. Only protein content was tested, using proper lab methods, to keep the process clear and focused.

If any product showed a major deviation, it would be called out openly. This is also why Trustified keeps retesting products that have already been tested in the past.

Whey Protein Test: What ASITIS Atom’s Lab Results Showed

The first product tested was ASITIS Atom, specifically its blended variant. Some users claimed that the 4 kg French Vanilla pack showed very low protein levels in their own lab reports. According to those reports, protein on an as-is basis was found to be just 47.12%, while the brand claims 75% protein on a dry basis.

To verify this, Trustified blind ordered the same 4 kg variant. Although the batch number did not match the user-tested pack, the entire sealed product was sent to an accredited lab.

The results were surprising. The lab report showed 78.90% protein on a dry basis, which was actually higher than the company’s claim of 75%. This clearly proved why testing methods, lab quality, and batch details matter so much.

Trustified also shared an important message here. Protein testing is done on a nitrogen basis and does not cost much compared to other tests. But it must always be done at a certified lab. Many reports shared by users had no NABL or FSSAI accreditation, making their results unreliable.

For students especially, buying whey protein is already expensive. Spending an extra Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 on testing should always be done wisely and only at a reputed lab.

Nakpro Perform Retesting Raises Serious Questions

The second product tested was Nakpro Perform, which had also received several complaints. Some user-shared lab reports lacked basic details like flavour, batch number, manufacturing date or expiry date. Others used home testing kits and reported low protein values.

Trustified blind ordered Nakpro Perform through a quick commerce platform from a third-party seller. The chocolate flavour was tested at an accredited lab. The result showed 69.11% protein on a dry basis, while the brand claims 65.01%. At first glance, this looked acceptable.

However, the bigger concern came during retesting. Nakpro Perform was due for a renewal test from the previous year. This time, the vanilla flavour was blind ordered again from a third-party seller. The lab report showed only 57.20% protein, nearly 8% lower than the claim. A second test was conducted to double-check, and even then, protein reached only 59.70%.

These findings highlight why retesting is crucial. A product may pass once, but consistency across batches is what truly matters.

This Whey Protein Test shows that labels alone cannot be trusted blindly. Accredited lab testing, proper batch tracking and regular retesting are essential for transparency. If you care about what goes into your body, these details are not optional – they are necessary!
