‘Bad VFX Exists, It’s Painful…’ Hrithik Roshan Intervenes As Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana Teaser Sparks Debate Online

The teaser of Ramayana has created a strong buzz online. While many people praised its scale and music, others criticised the heavy use of VFX. As the debate grew, Hrithik Roshan shared his thoughts and added a new perspective to the conversation.

Hrithik took to social media to talk about VFX and how audiences react to it. He spoke not only as an actor but also as someone who loves cinema deeply.

Hrithik Roshan On VFX Criticism And Audience Perspective

Hrithik Roshan first admitted that bad VFX does exist. However, he explained that judging it is not always simple. He wrote, “Yes, bad VFX exists. It’s sometimes so bad it’s painful to watch. Especially for me… and especially when it’s a film I’m part of. As an 11-year-old kid, I saw Back to the Future on a trip to London, and it changed me forever. I became obsessed. I would sit with my dad’s VHS player studying the frames pause -play pause-play until I broke the player.”

He then praised filmmakers who take risks to create big visual stories. He mentioned films like Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali and Ramayana as examples of ambitious cinema.

Hrithik said, “Today some special humans among us, like the makers of films like Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali, Ramayana, ( also my dad for Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish ofcourse) are my heroes, they have the guts and vision to do what’s never been done – all for the love of cinema so that we – the audience get to experience something never watched before. From my point of view, they risked all that money, and years and years of effort just so another 11-year-old kid could feel what I felt. To me, that’s noble. The intention by itself deserves applause! I am proud of my fellow Indians. What I would give to be a part of such dreams, even as an assistant. But this post is not about me, it’s about us, the audience. Thing is, it takes thousands of our artistes working round the clock for multiple years to bring VFX-heavy films to life, so the least we can do is raise their awareness.”

He also explained that filmmakers choose different visual styles based on their vision. Just like animation has different styles, VFX can also vary. So, what looks strange to some viewers might be a creative choice by the makers.

He added that audiences should not judge VFX only on how real it looks. Instead, they should think about whether it fits the story and creates the right emotion.

Why Did Ramayana Teaser Face Backlash

The teaser of Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has received mixed reactions. Many viewers called the VFX “artificial” and “video game-like.” Some also pointed out technical issues and an overly bright visual style.

The film’s global launch also became a talking point. The teaser was first shown in Los Angeles, which upset some Indian fans. They felt the makers gave more importance to international audiences.

At the same time, Ranbir Kapoor’s casting as Lord Ram has also divided opinions. Some people believe his past roles do not match the calm and divine image of the character. This has led to comparisons with films like Ponniyin Selvan and Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama.

Hrithik Roshan Gives THIS Advice To Viewers

Hrithik Roshan also replied to a fan who asked how to better understand VFX. His answer was simple and practical. He said, “I guess – wait till you watch the entire movie before you judge. Till then, hold your opinion.”

With this, Hrithik reminded viewers to be patient. Films are complex, and judging them based only on a teaser may not be fair.

Delhi News: Delhi is experiencing unusual weather this April, with rising heat during the day, unexpected morning fog, and a slight chill in the air. This sudden mix is mainly due to western disturbances and changing climate patterns, making the weather feel unpredictable.

Sudden Temperature Rise

In Delhi, temperatures have suddenly increased, making afternoons feel like peak summer. The heat is stronger than usual for April, catching many people off guard.

 Fog Returns in April

Early morning fog has made a surprising comeback this month. This is unusual for April and has reduced visibility in some areas, creating confusion among residents.

 Unexpected Chill in the Air

Despite hot days, mornings and evenings still feel slightly cold. This mix of heat and chill is making the weather feel unstable and unpredictable.

What’s the Reason Behind This Weather Twist?

Experts say western disturbances are bringing moisture and cool winds, causing these sudden changes. Wind patterns are also shifting, leading to fog and fluctuating temperatures.

Is Climate Change Playing a Role?

Climate change is making weather patterns less predictable. Because of this, unusual combinations like heat, fog, and chill are happening together.

 Changing Wind Patterns

In Delhi, shifting wind directions are also playing a key role in this unusual weather. Warm and cool air mixing together is creating sudden changes, leading to heat during the day and fog or chill at other times.

 What Should People Do?

Delhi News: People should stay hydrated during the day, carry light layers for cooler hours, and be careful while traveling in foggy conditions.

US Israel Iran War: The world is once again standing on the edge of a dangerous escalation. The ongoing US–Israel–Iran war has taken a dramatic turn after Donald Trump issued a chilling 48-hour ultimatum to Tehran.

A Deadline That Could Change Everything

In a bold and aggressive move, Trump has demanded that Iran either reopen the Strait of Hormuz or agree to a deal within 48 hours. This strategic waterway is crucial, as nearly 20% of the world’s oil supply passes through it. The warning is not just political, it carries serious military implications.

Tehran Stands Firm

Despite the pressure, Iran has shown no signs of backing down. Officials in Tehran have rejected negotiation claims and continue to assert their sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran’s stance is clear:

  • No forced deal
  • No surrender to threats
  • Continued control over strategic routes

 How Did We Get Here?

The current war began in February 2026, when the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iranian targets, aiming to weaken its military and nuclear capabilities.

Since then:

  • Iran has retaliated with missile and drone attacks.
  • Regional tensions have spread across the Middle East
  • Oil prices and global anxiety have surged

Why Are the Next 48 Hours Critical?

This deadline is not just symbolic it could trigger the following:

  • Massive military strikes
  • Disruption in the global oil supply
  • Involvement of other Middle Eastern nations
  • A potential global economic shock

Global Impact: More Than Just a Regional War

US Israel Iran War: The conflict is no longer limited to the Middle East. Countries worldwide are watching closely because:

  • Fuel prices are already rising
  • Trade routes are at risk
  • Global markets are becoming unstable

Priyadarshan: ‘They Earn More Than Actors Like Asrani…’ Bhooth Bangla Director’s Explosive Dig At Bollywood Star Entourages

Priyadarshan - Bhooth Bangla Director's Explosive Dig At Bollywood Star Entourages

The debate around star entourages in Bollywood is getting stronger. Over the past few years, many filmmakers have raised concerns about the large number of people who follow actors to film sets. Now, veteran director Priyadarshan has openly criticised this trend. He has called it the WORST thing happening in Bollywood today.

Entourages usually include makeup artists, managers, PR teams, trainers and personal staff. While they are meant to help actors, many directors now feel they are creating problems during shoots. As a result, film sets are becoming crowded and difficult to manage.

Priyadarshan On Bollywood Entourages

In a media interview, Priyadarshan shared his frustration about how these entourages affect his work. He explained how the crowd on set makes it hard to even frame a shot properly.

He said, “I tell you, I hate it. That’s the worst thing happening in Bollywood. Where four actors are there, 40–60 people are also there with them, so I can’t even see my frame. They’re all around, touching the hair, nothing to touch, most of them don’t even have hair, so what are they doing there? And I’m saying, ‘please clear, please clear’. There is so much crowd. The paraphernalia around the actors is more than my entire setup.”

His words clearly show how serious the issue has become. According to him, too many people on set affect focus, space, and the overall shooting process.

He also compared Bollywood with the South film industry. He said that even if actors have entourages there, they stay away from the set and only come when needed. This helps maintain discipline. The director remarked, “Here, they just walk in and stand around.”

Priyadarshan Says Entourage Members Earn More Than Some Actors

Priyadarshan made another shocking claim about the money earned by entourage members. He said some of them are paid more than veteran actors used to earn in the past.

He noted, “They’re earning far more than many established actors—people like Asrani sir used to be paid much less.”

Priyadarshan has worked closely with late actor Asrani in many films. Their upcoming film Bhooth Bangla will be their final project together after Asrani’s passing in 2025.

Meanwhile, Priyadarshan is preparing for the release of Bhooth Bangla, which also marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after 14 years.

About Bhooth Bangla

Bhooth Bangla a horror-comedy based on Indian mythology and black magic. It tells the story of Arjun Acharya, a man who inherits his ancestral palace in Mangalpur. Despite a scary belief that no bride survives in the town, he decides to host his sister’s wedding there. This leads to strange and supernatural events.

The film has a strong cast. Along with Akshay Kumar, it features Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav. Wamiqa Gabbi plays the female lead. Tabu and Mithila Palkar also appear in important roles. Other actors include Manoj Joshi, Jisshu Sengupta and Mithun Chakraborty.

The film is produced by Ektaa Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures. It will be released in theatres on April 17, 2026. Paid previews will begin on the night of April 16.

Dhurandhar 2 Actor Ranveer Singh In Zombie Film Pralay: Plot, Cast, Budget, Shoot Timeline – Is It Inspired By 1995 Novel ‘Blindness’?

All About Pralay - Next Film Of Dhurandhar 2 Actor Ranveer Singh

After the blockbuster success of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge, Ranveer Singh is ready to try something new. The actor will next be seen in Pralay, a zombie thriller that promises a fresh and bold story. This film marks a big shift in Ranveer Singh’s career as he steps into the post-apocalyptic genre for the first time.

Directed by debutant Jai Mehta, the film shows a darker side of Ranveer Singh. Known for his energetic roles, he now takes on a serious and intense character in a survival-based story.

Ranveer Singh Starrer Pralay Set In Dystopian Mumbai

Pralay is set in a scary and broken version of Mumbai. The story mixes the loneliness of a global lockdown with the horror of a zombie outbreak. Because of this, the setting feels both real and frightening.

The film follows a man trying to survive in a world that is falling apart. Society begins to collapse. People lose trust in each other. Moral values also start to fade. As the story moves forward, it shows not just physical survival but also emotional strength.

Unlike typical zombie films, Pralay focuses more on human relationships. It highlights how people behave under extreme pressure. This makes the story more relatable and engaging.

Is Pralay Inspired By 1995 Novel Blindness?

There has been a lot of talk about whether Pralay is inspired by Blindness, the 1995 novel by José Saramago. The rumours started after actress Kalyani Priyadarshan shared a photo of the book gifted to her by the director.

However, producer Hansal Mehta has clearly denied this. He confirmed that Pralay is an original story written by Jai Mehta and Vishal Kapoor.

He said, “It’s not an adaptation. Jai and Vishal Kapoor have written the original story. I had seen the 2008 film adaptation (starring Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo), and it wasn’t great. Writers like Saramago or Salman Rushdie… I feel they are best experienced on paper. Their books lose all their magic when interpreted for cinema.”

He further added, “When Ranveer saw his (Jai) work, he reached out to him, and then Jai pitched it to him. Once Ranveer said he liked the idea, we invested in developing it, helping Jai create the world he wants to present in the film.”

Cast, Production And Big Budget Of Pralay

Along with Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, who will make her Bollywood debut. She is expected to play an important role in the story.

The film is produced by Hansal Mehta’s banner and Ranveer Singh’s production house, Ma Kasam Films. The makers are also working with international experts to improve the visual effects and overall scale.

With a budget of around Rs 300 crore, Pralay is said to be the most expensive standalone film of Ranveer Singh’s career. This shows how big and ambitious the project is.

Shoot Timeline And Release Plans Of This Ranveer Singh Starrer

Right now, the film is in the pre-production stage. The team is working on designing the world and planning the shoot.

Filming is expected to begin around July or August 2026. If everything goes as planned, Pralay could release in theatres in 2027. This project comes after the huge success of Aditya Dhar‘s Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge, which was released on March 19, 2026. The franchise has already earned over Rs 2838 crore worldwide. Because of this, expectations from Ranveer Singh’s next film are very high.

PRTC members and Transport workers brought under healthcare safety net as Bhagwant Mann Govt expands Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna reach across Punjab

Punjab News

A two-day Sehat Camp organised at the PRTC Head Office in Patiala on April 1 and 2 brought Punjab’s transport workforce directly under the ambit of the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna (MMSY), with the Bhagwant Mann Government stepping in to bridge a long-standing gap in healthcare access for one of the state’s most mobile and underserved working communities.

Bus drivers, autorickshaw operators, taxi workers and their families were enrolled on the spot, ensuring that those who keep Punjab moving are no longer left behind in accessing timely and affordable healthcare.

Over the two days, several individuals were enrolled, including PRTC members and their families, with Sehat Cards issued immediately. Each card enables cashless healthcare coverage of up to ₹10 lakh per family per year, offering critical financial protection to workers who often delay treatment due to irregular incomes, long working hours and the physical strain of their profession.

Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Balbir Singh said, “Bringing transport workers under CM Bhagwant Singh Mann’s Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna is an important step, as they are constantly on the move and often delay treatment. With this coverage, they and their families can now access care without hesitation, knowing that the system will support them when needed.”

PRTC Chairman Harpal Juneja stated, “Our transport workers play a critical role in keeping Punjab connected. Ensuring their health security is equally important. This camp simplifies access and allows them and their families to come under coverage without disrupting their work.”

AAP Punjab General Secretary and Media In-charge Baltej Pannu noted that the strong participation reflected growing confidence in the scheme among transport workers. He said, “They are coming forward because they can see the impact in their own lives, not in government data but on the road, in their families. For workers who have spent years without reliable health cover, that assurance changes things. It reflects a growing trust in the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government’s commitment to making healthcare genuinely accessible.”

In a notable instance during the camp, Mahinder Singh, a visually impaired 63-year-old senior citizen and former PRTC worker, was enrolled under the scheme, highlighting how the on-ground model is reaching individuals who face the greatest barriers in accessing government services independently.

The inclusion of transport workers marks a significant expansion of the scheme’s outreach, bringing both organised and semi-organised workforce groups under comprehensive health coverage.

The initiative builds on the rapidly expanding scale of the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna across Punjab. So far, over 30 lakh Sehat Cards have been issued, with more than 50,000 residents enrolling daily across districts. The Punjab Government has further strengthened the programme with a ₹2,000 crore allocation in the 2026–27 Budget to enhance its reach and capacity.

The Bhagwant Mann Government continues to encourage residents to enrol for Sehat Cards through designated centres and on-ground camps to avail cashless treatment benefits under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna.

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann Pays Surprise Visit to Advanced Cancer Institute at BFUHS, Reviews Facilities & Patient Care

CM Mann

In a decisive push to upgrade cancer care in Punjab, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann conducted a surprise inspection of the Advanced Cancer Institute at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) on Saturday, ordering a comprehensive overhaul of infrastructure, technology, and manpower while asserting that there will be no compromise in treatment standards.

Setting a clear direction for transformation, the Chief Minister announced that the institute will be developed into a world-class healthcare centre, with the introduction of advanced facilities including robotic surgery and immediate steps to strengthen staffing, aimed at significantly enhancing patient care across the Malwa region.

During a surprise visit to the hospital, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann reviewed the functioning of the institute and interacted with key stakeholders to assess ground realities and identify areas requiring immediate attention. “The purpose of the visit is to support and strengthen the institution rather than to find faults, with the broader objective of transforming it into a premier healthcare centre for the entire state,” he asserted.

The Chief Minister affirmed, “The Advanced Cancer Institute at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) will be equipped with world-class facilities. The hospital is already imparting quality healthcare services to patients in the core Malwa region, and our effort is to further strengthen it into a premier healthcare centre across Punjab.”

Highlighting the need for continuous upgradation, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann stated, “The motive of the visit is not of fault finding but of hand holding to develop this institute as a premier healthcare centre across the state. During the visit, I interacted with all key stakeholders to apprise myself of the ground realities and the needs of this advanced institute.”

Focusing on improving patient outcomes, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann announced that several need-based facilities will be introduced in the institute. “Concerted efforts will be made to further ensure the well-being of patients by introducing several need-based facilities. Robotic surgery will also be introduced in this apex hospital so as to benefit patients in a big way,” he said.

Underscoring the urgency of modernising treatment methods, he added, “Necessary steps will be taken for introducing robotic surgery in this hospital at the earliest, and no stone will be left unturned for this.”

Addressing staffing concerns, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann noted that the hospital currently faces a shortage of personnel and assured prompt action. “I have come to know that there is a shortage of staff in the hospital, so necessary steps will be taken for pumping in more manpower in the larger public interest,” he said.

Reaffirming the Punjab Government’s commitment to accessible healthcare, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Ayushman card holders and beneficiaries of the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna are entitled for treatment in this apex cancer care hospital. The Punjab Government is committed to providing quality healthcare services to all people of the state.”

Development Push Continues Under CM Bhagwant Singh Mann in Punjab; Projects Worth Crores Inaugurated in Moga

CM Mann

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday reaffirmed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Punjab Government’s development push, inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of projects worth several crores in Moga, even as he outlined a governance model centred on infrastructure expansion, farmer security, and administrative reform.

At a state-level event, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said the overwhelming public participation reflected growing trust in honest and clean politics, asserting that from upgrading over 47 km of key road networks and strengthening urban infrastructure to launching power projects worth ₹18.80 crore and rolling out the Takseem campaign from April 13, the government is delivering tangible change on the ground.

He emphasised that the AAP Government is committed to procuring every grain of farmers’ wheat, ensuring no producer is left at the mercy of arhtiyas, while steadily advancing towards making Punjab a frontrunner state in the country through a development model that connects every village and city.

Addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone of several development projects in Moga, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann asserted that the traditional parties have repeatedly betrayed the people of Punjab. “People of Punjab can never forgive Akalis as they have not only ruined Punjab and its people but have also disrespected the Guru and Gurbani,” he said.

He added, “Akalis have conducted genocide of the generations of Punjab by promoting and patronising drug trade. These leaders not only patronized the drug trade but, according to reports, even used official vehicles to sell or distribute drugs.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Akali leader Sukhbir Badal claims that all development of the state has taken place during their regime, but they keep a blind eye towards the sacrilege incidents of Bargari and Behbal Kalan. They have bruised the psyche of every common man by using religion for their vested interests, which is an unpardonable sin. They are hand in glove with forces inimical to the Panth and Punjab.”

Taking a dig at the Akali Dal’s so-called “Punjab Bachao Yatra”, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “The real name of this gimmick of Akali Dal is ‘Parivar Bachao Yatra’. After looting the state for 15 years, from whom are they trying to save Punjab?” He added, “People elected Akalis but they proved to be traitors and always backstabbed the state and its people. When the farming community was fighting for its rights, the Akalis supported the Modi government on draconian farm laws just to save their berth in the Union Ministry.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Akali-BJP and Congress governments have destroyed several generations of the state. These anti-Punjab forces are hand in glove with each other and leave no stone unturned to harm the interests of the state. Ironically, these leaders remain silent against the Centre and Narendra Modi, who are ruining Punjab.”

He added, “These leaders leave no stone unturned to speak against me because they are envious of the progress of Punjab. People must unite and teach them a lesson by routing them out of the state. Sukhbir Badal, Raja Warring, Pratap Singh Bajwa and others are alien to Punjab as they have nothing in common with the people.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “From their schooling to wardrobe and habits, nothing matches with common Punjabis. These leaders are unaware of the problems faced by the people as they have scant knowledge of Punjab. They have never even visited the fields and are unaware of the hardships faced by farmers.”

He added, “People voted massively for these traditional parties, but previous governments looted Punjab. These leaders drained resources like parasites and even today they have no agenda except hunger for power. They compete with each other in abusing me and sending videos to their high command.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “These leaders have no vision for Punjab and are driven by personal ambitions, whereas our government is making strenuous efforts to make Punjab a frontrunner state. The day is not far when Punjab will become the number one state in the country.”

Highlighting achievements of the government, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann asserted, “We have taken path-breaking initiatives for holistic development of Punjab. We have fulfilled all promises made to the people. The government is providing 600 units of free electricity to every household without discrimination.”

He added, “Since our government assumed charge, 90% households are getting zero electricity bills. For the first time in Punjab’s history, farmers are getting eight hours uninterrupted daytime electricity for irrigation. The government has spent ₹6500 crore on rejuvenating canal systems, and for the first time, 1365 villages are getting canal water.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Earlier only 21% canal water was used for irrigation, which has now increased to 68% and will reach 85% by the coming paddy season. As many as 6900 km long, 18349 water courses have been revived to ensure water reaches tail ends, benefitting farmers immensely.”

He added, “Those leaders at whose residences canals used to stop never bothered about this. Such decisions can only be taken by leaders who understand ground realities, not those who studied in convent schools in hills.”

On employment, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “We have launched a Rozgar Kranti by providing more than 65,000 government jobs purely on merit, without recommendation or bribe. Record private investments have created more than 7 lakh employment opportunities in the last four years.”

He further said, “Punjab has 43,000 km of link roads and we have launched a major project for their repair and upgradation, along with maintenance for the next five years. The government is also exploring putting high tension wires underground to facilitate farmers.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “This will provide relief to farmers as high tension wires pose a huge risk to them and their crops. The scheme will begin from my native village, where work will start soon.”

Announcing welfare initiatives, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “A new Takseem scheme will ensure division of land within 30 days and will be implemented across Punjab from April 13, 2026. People should resolve disputes through mutual understanding.”

He appealed, “People should enroll for ₹10 lakh cashless treatment under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna. This scheme provides free treatment in government and private empanelled hospitals.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann added, “Under Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna, ₹1500 per month is being provided to women from Scheduled Caste categories, while ₹1000 per month is being provided to women from all other categories. This will help households and ensure dignity for women.

He said, “Taxpayers’ money belongs to the people and is being spent on development, schools, hospitals and roads. Earlier it was lost to corruption, but now leakages have been plugged.”

Emphasising education, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Quality education is the panacea for poverty. No freebie can eliminate poverty, but education can open doors of progress and prosperity. We are leaving no stone unturned to improve education.”

He added, “While we talk about education, health, power and agriculture, other parties only talk about grabbing power. People have rejected these opportunist leaders who only work for their families.”

On wheat procurement, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Aarthiyas are trying to pressure the government, but we will not succumb. The government will increase procurement quota of cooperative societies to ensure smooth procurement.”

Meanwhile, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann laid the foundation stone of several development projects in Moga including electricity projects, municipal road renovation and upgradation of major roads. He reiterated the commitment of the Punjab Government to build a rangla and vibrant Punjab.

Earlier, AAP Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia said, “Bhagwant Singh Mann is the most popular Chief Minister in the country. The government has taken path-breaking initiatives for every section of society. If any other party comes to power, they will stop these welfare schemes as seen in Delhi.”

Bhagwant Mann Govt’s Transformational Development Driving towards Rangla Punjab

The scale of infrastructure works underway in Moga underscores a decisive and execution-driven governance model, with major investments being channelled into roads, urban infrastructure, and power systems. The 47.70 km long Moga–Baghapurana–Kotkapura road is being upgraded at a cost of ₹46.98 crore, including ₹43.79 crore for construction and ₹3.18 crore for maintenance, while the 22.72 km Moga–Dharamkot road is being renovated at a cost of ₹9.98 crore, strengthening connectivity across key towns and villages.

Urban development works worth ₹88.62 crore are being executed by the Municipal Corporation, with an additional ₹11.60 crore worth of tenders in the pipeline. These include ₹7.58 crore for redevelopment of main roads, ₹7.66 crore for other roads, ₹4.16 crore for a multi-storey community hall, ₹2.19 crore for a street vending zone at Old Dana Mandi, and ₹97 lakh for beautification of key city landmarks including Geeta Bhawan, railway underbridge, Jutti Market, Partap Road, and the main bazaar, along with the construction of a clock tower at Guru Nanak College Chowk.

In the power sector, projects worth crores are strengthening electricity infrastructure, including installation of a 220 KV transformer at Rasungawala costing ₹9.82 crore, a 20 MVA transformer costing ₹2.62 crore, and a 132 KV transformer at Sosan costing ₹4.22 crore, alongside ₹3.74 crore being spent on upgrading the distribution system in Moga city. These initiatives are improving supply across the city and benefiting nearly nine surrounding villages, supported further by the completion of a new subdivision office at Dagru at a cost of ₹1 crore.

Together, these investments reflect a governance model focused on execution, scale, and long-term impact, laying the foundation for stronger connectivity, improved urban infrastructure, and reliable power supply across Moga.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is going to change the game for mobile gamers by combining the latest display technology with a very long battery life. As competitive gaming on smartphones grows quickly, devices that last a long time and work well are becoming more and more important.

165Hz AMOLED Display: A Competitive Advantage

The 165Hz AMOLED display is one of the best things about it. It promises ultra-smooth visuals and faster response times. For competitive players, this means they can react faster, see motion more clearly, and have a big edge in fast-paced games like battle royale and first-person shooters.

The higher refresh rate makes sure that every frame is rendered without any problems, which lowers motion blur and makes the game more precise overall.

Huge 9000mAh Battery: Made for Long Sessions

The huge 9000mAh battery is what really makes the device stand out. It is made for long gaming sessions, so players don’t have to worry about having to take breaks to charge their devices.

According to reports, the phone only loses about 33 to 34 percent of its battery life after five hours of continuous gaming. This level of endurance makes it perfect for competitive players who need to keep playing without any breaks.

80W Fast Charging: Quick Comebacks

The device can charge quickly at 80W, which works well with the big battery. This lets users quickly recharge and get back to work in a matter of minutes, which cuts down on downtime by a lot.

This means that gamers will have to wait less and play more, especially during tournaments or long sessions.

It looks like the OnePlus Nord 6 was made for serious gamers. It could set new standards in mobile gaming with its high refresh rate display and long battery life.

Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay faced the spotlight during a campaign rally in Puducherry on Saturday. A video that has gone viral shows Vijay greeting supporters from his vehicle while an elderly man in the crowd is pushed aside by a member of his security team to clear the path.

Netizens REACT To Viral Video Of Thalapathy Vijay

The viral video has triggered strong reactions online. Some praised Jana Nayagan actor for stepping in, while others recalled the tragic Karur stampede during his rally last year.

One user wrote, “He has to be very careful in case one more death is recorded, then he has to say bye-bye to 2026 elections.”

Another commented, “Security doing their job, but Vijay sir is doing his duty as a human. Thalapathy for a reason!”

A third criticised and said, “Was he plucking hair when his bodyguard pointed a gun at the head of the elderly man. Don’t create fake dramas as you are already exposed.”

One fan praised him and said, “That’s his true nature.”

Vijay’s Past Rally Tragedy

Vijay officially launched his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), in 2024. He also announced that his upcoming film Jana Nayagan would be his last cinematic project as he focuses entirely on politics.

The Puducherry incident brought back memories of the Karur rally in September 2025, where overcrowding caused a stampede, leading to 41 deaths and around 100 injuries. Victims included nine children, 18 women, and 14 men, with the youngest only two years old. The rally had between 27,000 and 50,000 attendees in a venue built for only 10,000, and a nearly seven-hour delay in Vijay’s arrival worsened the situation.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) continues to probe the Karur tragedy. Vijay has alleged it was part of a “joint machination” or conspiracy against his political ambitions. The Tamil Nadu government provided Rs 10 lakh to each bereaved family, and Vijay announced an additional Rs 20 lakh per family.
