Sabir Ali, the owner of a poultry farm in Sultanpur district’s Dariyapur village, filed a complaint with the local police. Ali reported that his farm’s 140 chickens died on April 25 night, due to deafening music from a wedding procession DJ system passing in front of his poultry farm.

Local authorities were alerted, and veterinary officials were called in to assess the situation.

CBSE Class 12th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a confirmation that results for Class 12thh may be announced in the third week of May 2026. The confirmation puts an end to thousands of fake website and social media rumours that have put millions of students on the move.

The CBSE firmly rejected claims that the board is struggling against glitches and there would be a big delay under the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets.

CBSE Class 12th Result 2026-Statement By Examination Controller

Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Controller of Examinations, remarked that the media reports claiming different types of allegations were far away from facts. Bhardwaj also dismissed concerns about the recently introduced process of digital evaluation.

The Controller of Examination said the digital evaluation process is far better than the previous methods. It was added that many evaluators have appreciated the process and expressed their satisfaction with the digital system.

For the first time, CBSE has introduced the on-screen marking system to improve speed, transparency and accuracy in assessment.

CBSE Assures Students

CBSE confirmed that the entire evaluation process for CBSE Class 12th result 2026 is progressing in complete accordance with the predefined schedule and students need not worry.

In 2026, class 12th examinations started on February 17 and millions of students appeared across the country and abroad.

Earlier, CBSE had announced the adoption of the on-screen marking system via a circular that was issued to affiliated schools on February 9. The OSM system is focused on improving efficiency while ensuring greater transparency in the marking process.

Students must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks overall, separately in practical and theory exams, to clear the examinations. Students may receive grace marks if they fall short of the passing mark by one or two marks.

The biggest talking point is the 6th Wednesday comparison. Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge collected Rs 1 crore, which puts it level with Pushpa 2 on the same day milestone.

However, the Ranveer Singh starrer could not beat Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which had earned Rs 1.40 crore on its 6th Wednesday. This makes Chhaava the stronger late-run performer on this particular benchmark. Even so, matching Pushpa 2 this deep into its run is still a notable achievement and shows that audience interest has not disappeared.

Despite lower daily numbers, Dhurandhar 2 is still chasing one giant target. The film is reportedly only a few crores away from crossing Baahubali 2’s worldwide benchmark.

If collections stay steady through the coming weekend, the Ranveer Singh film could move closer to another historic box office milestone.

Will Raja Shivaji Affect The Run?

With Raja Shivaji arriving in theatres, screen count pressure is expected to increase. New releases usually take priority in prime shows, which can impact holdover titles.

During the hearing on Capitol Hill, the United States Defence Secretary claimed that critics of the US Iran war posed a bigger threat to the United States of America than Iran itself.

Hegseth while appearing before the House Armed Services Committee alongside Gen Dan Caine, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, requested the lawmakers to approve a military spending of $1.5 trillion.

As per Sacnilk data, Bhooth Bangla earned Rs 3.40 crore net on Day 13. With this, the film’s total India net collection reached Rs 124.65 crore. The movie’s India gross stands at Rs 148.06 crore, while its worldwide gross has touched Rs 199.56 crore.

That means the film is now ready to cross two key marks very soon — Rs 125 crore net in India and Rs 200 crore worldwide. Both milestones are expected to be achieved with Day 14 collections.

The Day 13 number is important because weekday drops usually become sharper in the second week. However, Bhooth Bangla has shown a steady trend and healthy audience interest.

The Akshay Kumar starrer had closed Week 1 at Rs 84.4 crore net. From Day 8 to Day 13, it added around Rs 40.25 crore, which shows that the second week has remained solid.

While Dhurandhar 2 continues to occupy screens and attention, Bhooth Bangla has successfully held its space. Instead of slowing down sharply, the film has kept collections consistent. This suggests positive word-of-mouth and repeat family audience support.

About The Film

Released on 17 April 2026, Bhooth Bangla follows Arjun Acharya, played by Akshay Kumar, who returns to the haunted town of Mangalpur after inheriting his grandfather’s palace. What begins as a wedding celebration slowly turns into a dark mystery linked to an old demon legend.
