CM Awas Yojana: The Uttar Pradesh government has expanded the scope of the Chief Minister’s Awas Yojana. Going forward, individuals belonging to all schedule tribes would get the benefit from the scheme. This decision was announced by UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on the behalf of CM Yogi Adityanath.

CM Awas Yojana-What’s New?

Previously, the scheme was missing out on individuals from scheduled tribes in the eligibility list.

Launched in 218, the scheme included only the Vantangiya and Musahar castes initially. Later, 18 castes including Saharia, Nat, Chero, Baiga, Boksa, Kol, Tharu, Sapera and Banjara were included.

Now, Jaunsari, Raji, Bhotia, Gond and its synonyms Dhuria, Ojha, Nayak, Khairwar, Parhiya, Pankha, Panika, Pathari, Rajgond, Kharwar, Patari, Bhuiyan, Agariya and Bhunia castes have also been included in the eligibility category for the scheme.

The Deputy CM remarked that the Chief Minister’s Awas Yojana would be based on a saturation mode. It was remarked that the state government would try its level best to cover 100 percent of the involved castes within first 2 years itself. Till now, almost all eligible beneficiaries from the Vantangiya and Musahar have been provided with housing.

Who Will Benefit?

The scheme is likely to benefit those who have been rendered homeless because of extreme weather conditions or natural disasters like earthquakes, floods or fires, destitute women (18 to 50 years of age), individuals affected by leprosy, families affected by Kala-azar and Japanese encephalitis and the disabled.

Maurya remarked that previous governments of the state have merely used deprived and backward castes as a vote bank but the CM Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh aims to enhance the dignity of these castes by giving rights and shelter to them. This would also help in improving the level of upbringing and a dignified structure to under-privileged so they could survive and grow in today’s world.

Auto Debit Rule Change: A consolidated framework for digital payment e-mandates has been issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This move is aimed to simplify and streamline auto-debit systems. Going onwards, recurring payments of up to Rs. 15000 would not require a one-time password (OTP), meaning you can now easily pay for insurance, over-the-top (OTT) subscriptions and Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs).

Why The Auto Debit Rule Change?

The auto debit rule change would strengthen customer protection across prepaid payment instruments (PPIs), Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and cards including both cross-border and domestic transactions.

Under the revised guidelines, recurring payments to the tune of Rs. 15000 would not require an OTP going forward. This means that payments such as credit card bills less than Rs. 15000 can now be processed without additional factor authentication (AFA).

However, the Central Bank has made both post-debit and pre-debit alerts mandatory. Moreover, pre-debit notifications must be sent at least 24 hours before a recurring transaction is about to happen. It must clearly mention the merchant name, date and amount while also giving customers the choice to opt out. On the contrary, post-transaction alerts must contain important details along with information on all available grievance redressal mechanisms.

How Will This Benefit Consumer?

A lot of recurring payments fail because the consumer may have changed his or her mobile number, the OTPs may reach late, the phone may have no signal or the recurring payment message may be missed by the consumers entirely.

The consolidated framework for digital payment e-mandates would give consumers an extra layer of protection while making online transactions. On the other hand, it would help banks gain an invaluable opportunity to collect data as evidence in the context of online payments.

Maurya also remarked that we see women as a form of Goddess in our tradition.

The Cabinet Minister also remarked that Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) should no longer just be confined to the generation of revenue, but also on offering faster clearances, efficient services and an investor-friendly ecosystem.

Singh also added that Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has already approved 5 new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) and 5 more would be added by 2030.

According to media reports, the five proposed Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) include New Gurugram, Bhiwani, Narnaul, Greater Faridabad and Hisar. The initiative fulfils the manifesto promises of BJP, focusing on expressways like Delhi-Katra and Dabwali-Panipat.

Once the frontrunner of the Green Revolution, the state of Haryana has already established itself as a global information technology hub; the state is now all set to conquer the country’s next phase of industrial growth with upcoming IMTs.

The film is still managing screens, but daily numbers remain at low levels.

The Aditya Dhar directorial, which opened to massive hype and record-breaking expectations, is now seeing steady but low footfall in its fifth week. While the film once dominated the box office charts, its current performance reflects the natural slowdown after a long theatrical run. However, it still holds an impressive lifetime total.

On Day 34, Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge collected around Rs 2.00 crore net in India, as per Sacnilk. This marks a 23.5% jump from the previous day’s Rs 1.62 crore. The rise is mainly credited to Tuesday ticket discounts, which helped bring in some additional audience.

Even with this growth, the numbers remain modest for a film of this scale. The weekday boost shows that audience interest still exists, but only in limited pockets.

The film recorded an overall occupancy of about 20.7% on Day 34. Evening and night shows performed slightly better than morning slots, indicating that urban audiences are still contributing to collections.

Key circuits like Mumbai and NCR continued to show relatively stronger turnout compared to smaller centres. However, overall theatre occupancy reflects a clear slowdown in demand as the film moves deeper into its theatrical run.

Despite the slowdown, the film’s lifetime numbers remain massive. According to Sacnilk, its India net collection stands at Rs 1,119.29 crore, while the worldwide gross has reached Rs 1,761.76 crore.

These figures place Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. However, it still trails Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 in India.

Globally, the film continues to rank behind major blockbusters like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Dangal, which still hold strong positions in worldwide box office history.

About The Film

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller follows undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who operates in Karachi under the alias Hamza. The story focuses on his mission to dismantle a terror network while navigating dangerous political and criminal forces.
