Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission being run by the Uttar Pradesh government has emerged as a strong medium for large scale employment generation in the state.

Through an integrated model of skill training, industry participation and employment fairs, the Yogi government has taken concrete steps towards making youth self-reliant by connecting lakhs of young people with employment.

Taking this initiative forward, at the beginning of the year 2026, divisional level mega employment fairs are being organized in five districts of the state. Through these employment fairs, a large number of private sector companies will provide on-the-spot employment opportunities to nearly one lakh youth.

The Minister of State for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) Kapil Dev Agarwal stated, the objective of the Yogi government is to provide employment to youth at the local level, prevent migration and move the state towards the goal of a one trillion dollar economy.

He said, under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government is designing skill training in accordance with the needs of industries, so that after training, youth can be directly linked to employment.

He informed, on average around 100 companies will participate in each employment fair being organized this month and nearly 20,000 youth will be directly connected to jobs.

In this way, the target is to generate one lakh jobs through all five employment fairs. Candidates from several districts of the concerned divisions will participate in these fairs.

It is noteworthy that from the financial year 2017-18 till date, 186 mega employment fairs have been organized at the district and divisional levels. Through these fairs, more than 4.32 lakh youth have been provided employment, which reflects the success of the Yogi government’s employment-oriented policies.

The Yogi government has also adopted a focused strategy to connect youth from rural areas with employment. Under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, more than 2.26 lakh rural youth have been provided employment through 1,624 employment fairs so far.

During the covid period, when offline activities were suspended, the Yogi government did not halt the employment generation campaign. Through online employment fairs, more than 10,000 youth were provided jobs during that period.

In the current financial year, on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, employment fairs were organized in 74 districts of the state, in which nearly 21,000 youth were successfully placed.

The state government believes that sustainable employment generation is possible only by linking skill training with the needs of industries.

Under the guidance of the Yogi government, the integrated model adopted under the Skill Development Mission is playing an important role in making youth self-reliant and continuously moving the state forward in the direction of economic strength.

467.49 lakh Investment, hope for millions ofYouth: The Mann government’s journey from ‘Budget Allocation to transformation’ for Drug De-Addiction

Punjab News

Punjab’s Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr Baljit Kaur said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is working with firm resolve and continuity to make the state drug-free. She said that several important and concrete steps have been taken in this direction, the results of which are clearly visible at the grassroots level. To effectively take forward the drug-free campaign, a total amount of Rs 467.49 lakh has been spent by the government.

The Cabinet Minister said that to generate awareness against drugs, sensitise people and strengthen social participation, various departments of the Punjab Government have jointly planned and implemented multiple programmes in a coordinated manner. She said that special focus has been laid on sensitising children and teachers about the drug de-addiction campaign by designing and implementing various awareness programmes in schools and educational institutions, for which dedicated financial resources have also been provided.

Sharing further details, Dr Baljit Kaur informed that under the drug-free campaign, the Department of Health and Family Welfare spent Rs 107.22 lakh, the Information and Public Relations Department spent Rs 202.99 lakh on extensive public awareness activities, while the Social Security Department spent Rs 109.12 lakh to organise awareness camps across all districts of the state.

The Minister said that the worst impact of drug abuse is borne by the youth of the state and their families. Many mothers pray every day for their sons’ future, many children see hope fading from their fathers’ eyes, and the happiness of numerous households has been destroyed due to drugs. She said that the Mann Government deeply understands this pain and is pursuing the fight for a drug-free Punjab not merely as an administrative exercise, but with a humane and sensitive approach.

Emphasising the government’s resolve, Dr Baljit Kaur said that the objective is not only to eradicate drugs from their roots, but also to give every young person the courage to dream again, to wipe the tears of every mother, and to restore happiness and prosperity in every family. She said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is firmly committed to ensuring that every youth of Punjab stays away from drugs and moves forward towards a life of progress and dignity.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is not only formulating policies but also rebuilding the shattered dreams of broken families. The multi-crore budget and the coordination between various departments prove that Punjab is now in safe hands.

Punjab Government’s Big Gift for NRIs: 27 Services Available from Home Through E-Sanad Portal, Large-Scale ‘NRI Meet’ Planned for 2026

Punjab News

The Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has taken a revolutionary step for expatriate Punjabis and the NRI community by launching the ‘NRI E-Sanad Portal’. Under this digital initiative, Punjabis living abroad will now be able to access 27 important government services online. This initiative by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann aims to free the NRI community from the need to repeatedly travel to Punjab for documentation and administrative services. This portal will prove to be a boon for expatriate Punjabis residing in Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, and European countries who wish to stay connected to their home state.

Through this portal, NRIs will now be able to obtain birth certificates, death certificates, residence certificates, income certificates, caste certificates, marriage registration certificates, and many other documents from the comfort of their homes. Previously, NRIs had to either travel to India or go through a lengthy process through relatives, which often took months. Now, all these services will be available with just a few clicks and digital verification. The government has ensured that the portal is user-friendly and available in both Punjabi and English. This will not only save time and money but also ensure transparency.

The Punjab government has also announced a special gathering for NRI Punjabis in 2026, called ‘NRI Milni’. Under this unique initiative, Punjabis settled across the globe will be brought together on a single platform, where they can actively participate in the state’s development while preserving their cultural identity. This gathering will act as a strong bridge between expatriate Punjabis and their homeland. Opportunities for collaboration in sectors such as business, education, agriculture, health, and technology will be explored during this event. The government believes that the NRI community makes a significant contribution to Punjab’s economy, and it is the state’s responsibility to honor them. According to statistics, Punjab has the highest rate of emigration, with over 3 million people of Punjabi origin settled worldwide. These Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) send billions of rupees in foreign currency to their families every year, strengthening the state’s economy. However, they often faced difficulties due to complexities in administrative services. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said, “Our NRI brothers and sisters are the heartbeat of Punjab. Making services simpler and more accessible for them is our priority. The e-Sanad portal is a concrete step in that direction.” He also stated that the government plans to add more services to the portal in the future.

According to sources in the NRI Welfare Department, services related to property documents, pension services, and legal certificates will soon be included on the portal. The state government has coordinated with Indian embassies and high commissions abroad to expedite document verification. The portal has been made completely secure using modern technologies such as digital signatures, Aadhaar-based authentication, and OTP verification. Experts believe this move could set an example for other states with large NRI populations.

Jaswinder Singh, who lives in Canada, welcomed the initiative, saying, “This is a huge relief for us. Now we won’t have to buy tickets to India for every small task. The Punjab government has understood our problems and addressed them.” Harpreet Kaur, a businesswoman in London, said that such digital facilities will help Punjabi NRIs stay more strongly connected to their roots. The announcement has also been met with widespread joy among the NRI community on social media. Many have called it a ‘game-changer’ and a ‘historic step’.

Experts say this is a commendable effort towards digital governance that will not only reduce corruption but also improve the quality of services. Technical expert Dr. Amandeep Singh said, “This move by the Punjab government is far-sighted. Such portals are common in developed countries, but this initiative at the state level in India is remarkable.” He said that if implemented correctly, this initiative would take the relationship between overseas Indians and their homeland to new heights. It would also boost investment and cultural exchange.

The Punjab government has also ensured that elderly members of NRI families living in rural areas can benefit from this service. Help desks have been set up in all tehsil and district-level offices. Trained staff will assist citizens and help them with the online application process. The government has also launched a toll-free helpline number that NRIs can contact for any issues. Assistance is available in both English and Punjabi to overcome language barriers.

Officials associated with this initiative say that thousands of NRIs have already registered on the portal in the first month itself. The government has set a target of making all 27 services fully operational within the next six months, ensuring that the NRI community does not face any inconvenience. All relevant departments, including the Revenue Department, Health Department, Education Department, and Police Department, are being integrated with this portal. Data security and privacy have been given top priority, and encryption has been used in accordance with international standards.

This initiative by the Punjab government will undoubtedly prove to be a milestone in strengthening the ties between expatriate Punjabis and their homeland. The younger generation, in particular, who were born and raised abroad, will now be able to easily connect with their roots. In the digital age, such initiatives are not only convenient but also a necessity. In the future, when the ‘NRI Milni’ (NRI gathering) is organized, this portal will form its backbone and play a crucial role in bringing Punjabis from around the world together on a single platform. This effort by the Punjab government demonstrates that public service is the fundamental objective of the government.

Do not share personal information or OTP with anyone: Chief Minister

CM Yogi

The Yogi Government has taken several concrete steps to curb cyber criminals who target the hard-earned money of citizens. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the police have deployed cyber commandos to prevent cyber crime and fraud. Along with enforcement, extensive awareness programmes are being conducted by the police.

In addition, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday personally appealed to the people of the state through his ‘paati’, urging them to remain vigilant against cyber fraudsters. His message was disseminated widely through the media to reach every citizen. The Chief Minister called upon people not only to stay alert themselves but also to spread awareness among others.

In line with the Chief Minister’s vision, the police have also released a short awareness film on ‘Digital Arrest’. Over the past four days, the film has been viewed and appreciated by more than 1.73 million people across various social media platforms. The short film sends a strong message to citizens to remain fearless, identify new methods of cyber fraud, and take the right steps in time.

In his ‘paati’, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that while mobile phones and computers have made life easier and more convenient, they have also given rise to new challenges in the form of cyber crime. The government is taking several important measures to address these challenges.

He noted that before 2017, Uttar Pradesh had only two cyber crime police stations. Today, cyber crime police stations are operational in all 75 districts of the state, along with cyber help desks in every district.

The Chief Minister emphasized that alertness and awareness are the most powerful weapons against cyber fraudsters. These criminals use false and misleading terms like ‘Digital Arrest’ to intimidate innocent citizens and extort money. He categorically stated that there is no provision such as ‘Digital Arrest’ in any law of the country. Police or any government agency does not arrest individuals or demand money through video calls, WhatsApp, or social media.

The Chief Minister also urged caution while using social media. He warned that photos, videos, and location details shared publicly are often used by criminals to gather information and later misuse it against individuals. Citizens were advised never to share personal information or OTPs with anyone.

He further stated that even after taking precautions, if someone falls victim to cyber crime, they should immediately report the incident on the helpline number 1930. The sooner the police are informed, the higher the chances of recovery and prevention of further loss.

The Chief Minister appealed to citizens to remain vigilant and spread awareness among those around them, especially senior citizens. He concluded by calling upon everyone to collectively build a safe and cyber crime–free Uttar Pradesh.

On the directions of the Yogi Government, UP Police released a short film to raise public awareness about ‘Digital Arrest’. The film features renowned actor Nana Patekar.

Within just four days, the film garnered approximately 1.042 million views on YouTube, around 126,000 views on platform X, nearly 42,000 views on Instagram, and more than 20,000 views on Facebook. Additionally, the message reached nearly 500,000 people through WhatsApp channels and digital volunteer groups.

These figures clearly reflect the growing importance of cyber security among the general public and highlight the Yogi Government’s foresighted and sensitive approach towards safeguarding the hard-earned money of citizens.

Maggi Magic Masala: BIG! Shocking Truth About Ingredients Revealed! What Are You Truly Consuming? Check Lab Report

Maggi Magic Masala

Maggi Magic Masala: Families across India trust Maggi Magic Masala for an irresistible flavour. But is it a safe and trusted choice? What goes behind the spicy aroma of a processed powder loaded with surprises?

Maggi Magic Masala-The Deceptive Ingredient Breakdown

Primary players include refined wheat flour, corn starch, iodized salt and palm oil forming the base. Dehydrated vegetables (garlic and onion) mix with spices such as turmeric, red chili, cumin, coriander and fenugreek for that signature kick.

The list of its flavour enhancers includes disodium 5′-inosinate (E631), disodium 5′-guanylate (E627), monosodium glutamate (MSG E621) and disodium riboflavin 5′-phosphate (E101). Acidity regulators (citric acid E330, sodium acetate E262), anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide E551), hydrolyzed groundnut protein and white pepper round out the list.

Health Red Flags Exposed

MSG triggers “Chinese Restaurant Syndrome” in sensitive individuals causing flushing, numbness and headaches. Yeast/nucleotide extracts, E631 and E627 can spark gut inflammation and allergies.

Palm oil, one of the most controversial and harmful cooking oils, finds a place here. It is packed with saturated fats that can significantly raise cholesterol risks. Hydrolyzed protein from peanuts risks cross-contamination for allergy sufferers. Refined carbs spike blood sugar while high sodium (over 1,000mg per pack) fuels hypertension.

The cumulative processed intake of E101 (riboflavin) can cause metabolic issues. Marketing masks the product as “magic” but you cannot just ignore trans-fat traces from hydrogenated oils and preservative overload.

Smarter Swap Strategies

DIY magic masala: Blend roasted spices such as chili, cumin and coriander, chili and try garlic powder, onion flakes, turmeric, amchur and salt. You can even add fresh veggies to noodles for fiber.
