Snacks:
The best choices are nuts and seeds. Walnuts, almonds, chia seeds and flax seeds are at the top. They are rich in healthy fats and fibre. They keep you full and control blood sugar spikes.

The worst snacks are ultra-processed packaged foods. Chips, namkeen, biscuits, and protein bars with long ingredient lists fall here. Dr Sethi warns that these snacks fuel fat storage deep inside the belly.

Proteins:

Punjab’s brightest government school students soaked in knowledge at Winter Residential Coaching Camps organised under Punjab Academic Coaching for Excellence (PACE) program. Over 1700 students benefited from the transformative program designed to democratise access to high-quality competitive exam coaching, informed Punjab’s Education Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains.

Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains informed that these camps, aimed at preparing government school students for the India’s top professional education institutions like IITs, NITs and AIIMS, saw 1728 students participation across three centres: Bathinda (601 students comprising 359 Girls, 242 Boys), Ludhiana (573 students: 327 Girls, 246 Boys) and SAS Nagar (Mohali) (554 students: 367 Girls, 187 Boys).

The initiative highlights Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government’s unwavering commitment to level the playing field for students from all socio-economic backgrounds. “The overwhelming response to PACE Winter Camps highlights the immense potential in our government schools. This initiative empowers youth, instills confidence and gives deserving students, irrespective of their circumstances, a fair shot at top institutions. We are building a robust ecosystem of excellence and equity,” said the Education Minister.

S. Harjot Singh Bains said that the winter camps were one of the most extensive drives being undertaken by the department, with a rigorous selection process. “Participants were chosen through a rigorous multi-stage selection process evaluating performance in standardized mock tests, conceptual clarity, academic consistency and teacher recommendations, ensuring that only the most dedicated aspirants made the cut form the cohort. The program is committed to inclusivity, reserving 20% seats at each centre for students from other government schools and drop-year aspirants, extending benefits beyond Schools of Eminence and Residential Schools for Meritorious Students,” he added.

The Education Minister said that the camps offered a comprehensive learning experience, led by expert faculty from top coaching organisations like Physics Wallah, Vidya Mandir and Avanti Fellows. “A structured curriculum focuses on concept strengthening and advanced problem-solving aligned with JEE and NEET patterns. Daily doubt-clearing sessions, one-on-one mentoring and holistic development modules on stress management, career guidance and recreational activities ensured the student’s well-being. Secure, fully residential facilities provided a conducive, distraction-free environment to the students,” he highlighted.

He expressed confidence that the Winter Residential Coaching Camps would significantly enhance competitive exams outcome by providing critical early exposure to Class 11th students and boost the final preparation of Class 12th aspirants. “Last year, 265 government school students cleared JEE Mains, 45 cracked JEE Advanced and 847 cleared NEET, proving the state government schools are now premier launchpads for the country’s top professional careers,” he highlighted.

The Punjab Government, through the Department of School Education, put in place comprehensive administrative and academic arrangements to ensure the success of the Winter Residential Coaching Camps 2025 under the PACE programme. Conducted across three fully residential centres in Ludhiana, Bathinda and Mohali, the camps were designed as one of the largest competitive exam support initiatives for government school students, with standardised academic planning, centralised monitoring and uniform curriculum delivery across locations. To ensure fairness and inclusion, the government reserved 20 percent seats at each centre for students from other government schools and drop-year aspirants, extending the benefits well beyond Schools of Eminence and Residential Schools for Meritorious Students.

The Punjab government also ensured end-to-end residential and welfare arrangements to create a distraction-free, high-intensity learning environment. Haryana News: Arti Singh Rao, the health minister of Haryana, has remarked that the state will strictly monitor drug prices in the state to prevent any incident of overcharging.

Rao added that the Price Monitoring and Resource Unit (PMRU) under the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) department in Haryana strictly follow the stringent guidelines of the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA).

Haryana News: Prevention of Overcharging On Medicines

Thirty-three cases of overcharging on medicines were reported during 2025 in the state of Haryana, according to Manoj Kumar, Commissioner of Food and Drugs Administration Haryana. Kumar added the cases were duly reported to NPPA New Delhi for required action, reflecting the transparent and strict action of the Haryana government.

Kumar added that awareness programs were conducted in Kaithal, Sirsa and Yamunanagar by Drug Control Officers and Field Investigators of PMRU during the month of December. These programs were intended to guide chemists and the general public on how to maintain medicine quality, record-keeping, installing CCTV cameras at chemist shops and cold chain management.

The Commissioner of Food and Drugs Administration Haryana made an appeal to the general public to stay vigilant and download the Pharma Sahi Daam App. He added the mobile application would help consumers get easy, quick and uninterrupted access to accurate information about medicine prices. Complaints can be filed directly with the state government if overcharging is found anywhere. Additionally, consumers can lodge their complaints about overpriced medicines at the PMRU Haryana toll-free number 1800-180-2413.

Goyal remarked companies such as Zomato offer insurance as well as timely, fair and predictable wages to thousands of gig workers across the country.

Goyal added class divides have kept the poor invisible to the rich for centuries. The gig economy brought the two before reach other.

Carbohydrates were claimed at 21.5 grams, while lab results showed 20.3 grams. Fat values were also found to be in line with what the brand mentions.

Importantly, there were no signs of amino spiking. Melamine was below detectable limits. Among heavy metals, only cadmium was detected, and that too within safe limits. For aflatoxins, only aflatoxin M1 appeared, again within safe limits. No pesticides were detected. Elemental copper was present but remained within a safe range.

The boys’ 7 to 12 years variant showed similar results. The brand claims 10 grams of protein per serving. Lab testing found 10.6 grams. Carbohydrates and fats were consistent with label values. No amino spiking was found. Melamine remained below limits. Heavy metals and aflatoxins were within safe ranges. Pesticides were not detected.

What This Test Concludes?

Based on blind lab testing, Gritzo SuperMilk for boys and girls aged 7 to 12 years has passed all testing levels. This makes it a Trustified certified product.

  • Treat nasal congestion or allergies with sprays or antihistamines.
  • Stay hydrated to keep throat tissues moist.
  • Use oral appliances or CPAP devices (for diagnosed sleep apnea).

The best way to know the level of your sleep apnea or snoring is a sleep study, which is known as Polysomnography. This overnight test is beneficial to monitor oxygen levels, heart activity, sleep quality and breathing patterns using non-invasive sensors.

Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has raised serious  concerns over the  contended abuse of the AI- powered Grok  point on social media platfo. In a  explosively articulated letter to Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw, she called the trend “  inferior ” and  prompted immediate government intervention. 

 What Is the Issue Being Raised? 

 Priyanka Chaturvedi  stressed a disturbing trend where fake accounts are allegedly using AI prompts to manipulate women’s  prints. The AI tool is being misused to minimise women’s apparel and sexualise their images, leading to  importunity and violation of  quality online. 

Alleged Misuse of AI Grok

In her letter, the MP revealed that users are intentionally instructing the AI system to create inappropriate and sexualised content. She was troubled by the fact that such a misuse of artificial intelligence not only indicates that there are serious gaps in platform safeguards but also that content moderation is compromised. 

Call for Government Action

Priyanka Chaturvedi was urging the Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to intervene and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. She demanded the establishment of stronger regulations, the introduction of accountability mechanisms, and the implementation of safeguards to stop AI tools from being misused for online abuse.

Concerns Over Women’s Safety Online

The MP highlighted that digital platforms must not be spaces where women feel unsafe or vulnerable. She cautioned that if the misuse of AI tools is not checked, it could lead to the normalization of online harassment, resulting in gender-based abuse becoming more prevalent in social media.

Wider Debate on AI Regulation

The matter has, once again, pointed to the ongoing debate around AI governance and digital safety. Experts are of the opinion that, on one hand, AI tools bring innovation and convenience; however, on the other hand, the misuse of such tools calls for the immediate implementation of clear policies, ethical guidelines, and stricter enforcement.

Jaipur News: Jaipur Metro is all set to witness a considerable enhancement in its capabilities with Line 2 of the city’s metro network slated to improve airport connectivity.

Presently, the city’s metro authorities are planning to offer direct underground access to commuters from the Airport Metro Station to all passenger terminals.

Passengers will get the choice to commute between the Metro station and the three terminals via shuttle services and dedicated tunnels. This development comes after a recent round of consultations between the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation and Airport authorities.

Third Terminal’s Inclusion-Jaipur News

A third terminal would be shortly included by the time Metro Line 2 comes into full-scale operations. The new terminal would be constructed alongside terminal 2 towards the Sanganer side.

According to an official, JMRC would construct terminals and go ahead with the installation of elevators and walkways. This would help smooth and uninterrupted movement of passengers, even those with heavy baggage.

On the lines of the airport line model of Delhi Metro, the airport station in Jaipur would be fully equipped with 2 designated exit and entry points. One of these points would cater to regular metro commuters from nearby localities. The other would link directly to the airport terminals.

Line 2 (linking Prahladpura in Sitapura to Todi Mod in Vidhyadhar Nagar) would be constructed in 7 project packages with a total length of 43 kilometers.

Tendering for the first package, which involves metro services between Prahladpura and Pinjrapole Gaushala, was launched in December.
