Gold Rates in India: Yellow Metal & Silver Soar As War Clouds Lift Partially! Golden Opportunity Knocking Or Time To Wait?

Gold Rates in India

Gold Rates in India: In India, gold prices rallied sharply after peace talk hopes between the United States and Iran emerged. On Wednesday, 24-carat gold price surged sharply by up to Rs. 37600 after crashing by nearly Rs. 15200 per 10 grams and Rs. 1,52,000 per 100 gram previously.

Gold and silver gained as much as 7 percent in the global markets even as the United States is preparing to deploy additional troops to counter Iran. Donald Trump had ordered around 2000 troops to the troublesome Middle East, adding to the 5000 personnel who are expected to arrive in the coming few days.

During the Asian trading hours on Wednesday, COMEX gold rate jumped 4 percent to $4600 an ounce while COMEX silver jumped 7 percent to $74.42 an ounce.

Gold Rates in India- Why Are Prices Rising?

Gold Prices are influenced by global events such as war, calamities or economic slowdowns. They are also influenced by economic and political uncertainty, which is prominently visible these days due to the ongoing Middle East crisis.

The hopes of a ceasefire along with fears of a greater conflict ahead with more troops in the Middle East has added to the uncertainty factor, promoting investors to turn to gold and silver. Often termed as “safe haven” assets, gold and silver are trusted by investors when people are uncertain about the future economic turn of events.

What Does This Mean for Buyers?

The present-day scenario could be highly tricky for investors and others who want to buy gold for personal use. Buying gold today could feel expensive but waiting could make the yellow metal even costlier if prices continue to rise.

For optimistic entities, this may be a good time to purchase gold as yellow metal prices are still adjusting and may go higher. Moreover, the Middle East crisis is not expected to end anytime soon, pushing world economies to instability. Historically, gold has maintained its value over time.

At the same time, it is best to be cautious as gold prices may come slightly after the initial surge as a correction is long pending. Global tensions may reduce if the Middle East crisis is solved, bringing gold prices down. Also, yellow metal prices are moving quickly these days because of speculations, which make the present-day scenario a risky choice for short-term decisions.

Monalisa Bhosle Allegations On Sanoj Mishra

During the press conference, Monalisa Bhosle broke down in tears and accused the director of misbehaving with her during the film shoot. She said she had informed her family earlier, but she did not get support at that time.

She said, “Sanoj Mishra achha insaan nahi hai. Usne mujhe 10 baar galat tareeke se chhua. maine apne parivaar ko bataya ki sanoj mishra ne mujhe chhua, lekin unhone mera saath nahi diya. mujhe pata hai ki maine kya saha hai. mere saath galat vyavhaar hua hai. mujhe sirf nyaay chahiye. Monalisa Seeks Security, Says Marriage Being Targeted

Monalisa Bhosle also spoke about her marriage and appealed to the government not to spread wrong claims about her husband. She said that both of them got married in a temple according to Hindu rituals, but some people are trying to give it a different angle.

She alleged, “Director hamari shaadi ko love jihad bata raha hai aur samaaj mein tanaav phailane ki koshish kar raha hai. hum sabhi dharmon ka samman karte hain.”

The actress became emotional during the press conference and said, “Agar humein alag karne ki koshish ki gayi to hum dono suicide kar lenge.”

Her husband Farman Khan also spoke during the press meet and made serious allegations. He said he is being called a terrorist because of his name and religion. Farman said, “Main Shri Narayan Guru mein vishwas rakhta hoon aur humne unhi ke mandir mein shaadi ki hai.”

Monalisa repeated that they need security because their lives are in danger. The couple recently got married in Kerala as her family was not ready to accept the relationship. They were in Thiruvananthapuram for film shooting when they decided to marry.

Monalisa Bhosle, who is originally from Indore, became popular last year after a video of her selling rudraksha malas at the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela went viral. Since then, she has remained in the news, and her latest allegations have again brought her into the spotlight.

LPG Gas Booking New Rules: 35-Day Wait For Refill Booking, 45 days For PMUY Beneficiaries! Is A Nationwide Crisis Ahead?

LPG Gas Booking New Rules

LPG Gas Booking New Rules: Gas companies in India have made a series of changes for booking Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders.

LPG Gas Booking New Rules Explained

Under the new rules, the gap between bookings of two LPG cylinders has been increased from 25 to 35 days for non-Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) gas connection holders having 2 or more cylinders.

Non-PMUY gas connection holders having a single cylinder could book their gas cylinder after 25 days. On the other hand, PMUY beneficiaries would now have to wait for 45 days before they could book the next LPG cylinder.

Interestingly, the count of days would initiate from the day of delivery and not the day of booking. If a consumer tries booking before the deadline, the system would block the booking, making it invalid.

LPG connection holders could book a maximum of 2 cylinders every month. Cylinder bookings could only be made by consumers using a registered mobile number. If a consumer’s registered mobile number has changed, it must be immediately updated at the agency or via the mobile app. Moreover, consumers who have not booked a cylinder for more than 9 months would see their connections being blocked.

Rules For Small Cylinders

For gas connection holders having a 5kg cylinder, the gap would be 9-16 days and 18-32 days for 10kg cylinders.

Helpline Number Released

Consumers who face any issues regarding the new rule or require more information may contact the toll-free helpline number 1800-2333-555.

Commercial LPG Crisis

The Union Government has approved an additional increase of 20 percent in the allocation of commercial LPG to country’s union territories and states. This brings the total allocation of commercial LPG to 50 percent.

PM Modi, several top politicians and gas marketing companies have assured and reassured Indians that there is no LPG shortage in the country. If this is the case, why has the number of days increased to 35 or 45 from 25? Is a nationwide crisis ahead of us?

US Israel Iran War: COVID Flashback Amid Iran Tensions! Can India Survive the Storm? Modi Govt’s Measures Explained To Ease Situation

US Israel Iran War

US Israel Iran War: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during this speech in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday reminded the challenges faced by the country during the COVID-19 pandemic. The reminder prompted speculations about whether India could once again experience nationwide lockdowns due to the ongoing Middle East crisis.

Recently, the International Energy Agency (IEA) termed the prevailing energy crisis as one of the most severe crises in recent decades. It is believed that the world is losing approximately 11 million barrels every day.

PM Modi Urges Indians To Remain United And Prepared

Modi acknowledged the situation’s seriousness in his recent addresses in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. PM Modi however didn’t suggest or call for immediate lockdowns, urging the country to be prepared like the times of COVID-19 pandemic, promoting coordinated readiness and response.

This comparison has generated widespread discussion and, in some cases, confusion. To understand its implications, it is important to examine the context of the current conflict, the meaning behind the Prime Minister’s remarks, and the likelihood of restrictions similar to those seen during the pandemic.

Presently, India is leveraging its diplomacy channels to contain the impact of global energy crisis in the country. Moreover, India has been strengthening a series of institutional mechanisms and crisis-response capabilities.

US Israel Iran War-Several Countries On Fuel-Saving Mode

Several countries such as Pakistan and Philippines have declared nationwide emergencies. Meanwhile, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Sri Lanka are on a fuel-saving mode. Some of these countries have put severe restrictions on non-essential travel, four-day work week for many government offices and a series of energy-saving protocols for reducing fuel consumption.

For instance, Bangladesh has shifted offline education to the online mode while enforcing nationwide scheduled power cuts, Vietnam has urged businesses to operate remotely and Sri Lanka has brought in mandatory public holidays for specific sectors.

From Hype to Halt: OnePlus May Be Planning Global Exit That Could Reshape the Smartphone Market, Check

OnePlus
Google

OnePlus, once among the most talked-about smartphone brands globally, may be heading toward a significant shift in its business strategy. According to a report by 9to5Google, OnePlus could shut down its operations in major global markets as early as April 2026 a move that would have serious implications for consumers, carriers, and the broader smartphone ecosystem.

The Rumor: What’s Happening?

According to an exclusive report by 9to5Google, OnePlus may soon shut down its smartphone operations in large parts of Europe and other global regions, potentially starting as early as April 2026. The move appears to be part of a larger strategic shift toward focusing more on selected markets and products. The information comes from a now‑deleted social media post and unnamed industry sources familiar with internal discussions at the company. Some staff members have reportedly been informed ahead of this potential change, and there are indications that major leadership shifts are already underway.

Why Is This Happening?

  • Declining Global Market Share

OnePlus has struggled to maintain its presence in competitive markets like Europe and North America, where rivals such as Apple and Samsung dominate. This decline has reportedly made operations less sustainable in some regions.

  •  Focus on Local and Mid-Range Strategy

Reports suggest the company may pivot focus to entry‑ and mid‑range models in markets like India, rather than competing in premium segments abroad, possibly aligning more closely with parent company OPPO’s broader strategy.

  • Leadership Changes

OnePlus India CEO Robin Liu recently stepped down, adding fuel to the speculation that a major restructuring might be underway within the company’s international business.

Talking about the incident, Rajpal said that he had reached the photo session a little late and quickly joined the group. Because of that, he accidentally stood in the middle, while Akshay Kumar wanted the actresses to stand in the centre for the photo and the male actors on the sides.

He told ANI, “Us din ke vivaad ki baat karun to main, Akshay paaji aur Ekta dono aa gaye the aur woh ladkiyan aa gayi thi. Mera wait ho raha tha. Main jaise hi bhaag ke aaya to ladkiyon ke beech mein tha, to Akshay paaji mujhse keh rahe the ki apan mahilaon ko beech mein rakhenge aur ek taraf main khada hoonga, ek taraf tu khada hoga. Aur ye actually Akshay bhai ka sanskaar hai ki hum log aapas mein is tareeke ki baat karke aise khade hue the.”

Harish Rana: The story of Harish Rana, who remained in a coma for 13 years, brought this issue into the public eye. It forced people to question an important truth: Is life only about survival, or does dignity matter equally?

The 13-Year Coma Story of Harish Rana

Harish Rana fell into a coma due to a serious medical condition and remained unconscious for 13 years, fully dependent on life support. His family faced years of emotional and financial struggle with no signs of recovery.

The Case That First Changed India’s Perspective

Before this, India had already witnessed a landmark case involving Aruna Shanbaug. Her case reached the Supreme Court of India, which made a historic decision to allow passive euthanasia under strict guidelines. This judgment marked a turning point in India’s legal and social approach to end-of-life care.

What is Euthanasia?

Euthanasia refers to ending a person’s life to relieve them from extreme suffering, especially when recovery is not possible.

It is generally considered in situations where:

  • A person is in a permanent coma
  • The illness is terminal
  • Life is sustained only through machines

Active Euthanasia

Active euthanasia involves taking direct action to end a person’s life. Because it directly causes death, it raises serious ethical and legal concerns.

Passive Euthanasia

Passive euthanasia means allowing a person to die naturally by withdrawing or withholding medical treatment.

Difference Between Active and Passive Euthanasia

  • Active euthanasia directly causes death, while passive euthanasia allows death to occur naturally.
  • Active euthanasia is illegal in India, whereas passive euthanasia is legally permitted under specific guidelines.

How Harish Rana’s Case Changed Perspectives?

Harish Rana’s prolonged coma made people reflect on the meaning of life and dignity. It highlighted the emotional and financial burden faced by families. It also showed the limitations of medical science.

The success of Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge has become one of the biggest talking points in Bollywood right now. The film is doing record business at the box office, and many celebrities are praising director Aditya Dhar and actor Ranveer Singh for the grand spy thriller. However, actress Ameesha Patel’s strong reaction to the film has started a new debate on social media, with fans divided over her comments.

In the last few days, several stars like Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu have spoken about the film and praised its scale and storytelling. The sequel was released on March 19 and is already racing towards the Rs 600 crore mark even before finishing its first week. Amid all the praise, Ameesha Patel’s post about the film and the industry grabbed the most attention online.

What Ameesha Said About Dhurandhar 2

Ameesha Patel shared her reaction on Tuesday evening on her X account and called Dhurandhar 2 an eye-opening moment for the Hindi film industry. She said the film deserves the appreciation it is getting and added that the makers focused on creating a proper film instead of treating it like a marketing project.

She also said that director Aditya Dhar chose actors for their talent and suitability for the role rather than picking social media stars who stay in the news because of parties and trends. According to her, the industry should learn from this and focus more on real filmmaking, strong performances, and honest storytelling.

Ameesha wrote, “Eye opener. Industry Praising DHURANDHAR is wow and the brand deserves all the accolades. Industry needs to realise that ADITYA made a film and not a project, casted actors and not Instagrammers who trend at parties. Stop making projects and start making films.”

Many users agreed with Ameesha and said she spoke the truth about the industry. Some fans felt that good casting and strong direction are the real reasons behind the success of Dhurandhar 2. One user wrote, “Brutal and best post till date I have seen on this movie…Very true..some big producers think we cast paparazzi actors with huge following zero acting skills can guarantee the success.”

Another commented, “She is not wrong.”

At the same time, several people also trolled the actress for her blunt words. One user joked, “Ananya Panday ne tumhara kya bigada.”

Another wrote, “Are you fine? Or do you need burnol too?”

A different user quipped, “Agli film me nhi lenge apko Aditya Dhar ji.”

About The Film And Its Casting

Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge is a high-budget spy thriller that continues the story of undercover agent Hamza, played by Ranveer Singh. In the film, Hamza enters the criminal world of Karachi to break terror networks and faces dangerous enemies, including Major Iqbal played by Arjun Rampal and the mysterious Bade Sahab.

The film has a long runtime of 229 minutes and features a big cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Akshaye Khanna. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra focused on choosing actors who fit the roles perfectly instead of only looking at star power. Reports say many actors were tested for each role, and more than 1300 auditions were taken for the female lead.

Because of this detailed work, the film has connected strongly with the audience. After the success of the first part, the sequel has become even bigger and is already close to the Rs 600 crore mark, making Dhurandhar 2 one of the biggest hits of the year.

Chaitra Navratri 2026 Day 7: Feeling Constant Stress Or Fear At Home? Astrologer Tells How To Seek Protection From Maa Kalaratri

Chaitra Navratri 2026 Day 7 Maa Kalaratri

Chaitra Navratri 2026 Day 7: Navratri is a time of devotion, spiritual cleansing, and invoking the divine energy of Goddess Durga. By the seventh day of Chaitra Navratri 2026, many devotees may feel the need for extra protection at home, especially if stress, fear, or unexplained obstacles seem to appear repeatedly. This is the day dedicated to Maa Kalaratri, a fierce yet protective form of the goddess, whose worship can remove negativity and bring peace to your household.

Chaitra Navratri 2026 Day 7: Worshipping Maa Kalaratri

Maa Kalaratri is the seventh form of Goddess Durga, worshipped for her unparalleled strength and protective powers. Her name comes from Kala (time or death) and Ratri (night), symbolising her role as the destroyer of darkness. Despite her terrifying appearance with a dark complexion, dishevelled hair and three blazing eyes, she is also called Shubhankari (the one who grants auspicious results and shields devotees from evil forces).

The legend of Maa Kalaratri tells of her battle against the demon Raktabeej, who had a fearsome boon: each drop of his blood that touched the ground created a new demon. To stop this, Goddess Parvati took the fierce form of Kalaratri. She captured Raktabeej’s blood in a vessel and drank it, preventing the birth of new demons and restoring peace and dharma to the world.

How To Seek Protection From Maa Kalaratri

In a video shared on YouTube channel of Jyotish Ratan Kendra, an astrologer says that if negativity persists at home, stress arises without reason, tasks keep getting stuck or children suddenly feel fear, it may indicate the presence of the evil eye or negative energies. Worshipping Maa Kalaratri on the seventh day can help protect your family and home. Here’s how devotees can perform the ritual:

  1. Light a mustard oil lamp in front of Maa Kalaratri’s idol or image.
  2. Chant the mantra “Om Devi Kalaratray Namah” at least once using a mala (rosary).
  3. Place a small lamp at the main entrance of the house with black sesame seeds and cloves.
  4. Recite the Durga Chalisa at night if possible.
  5. Burn camphor afterwards to remove the evil eye and negative energies from the entire family.

By following these steps, devotees can invite positive energy, eliminate fear and obstacles and create a protective shield for their home. Maa Kalaratri’s blessings not only guard against evil spirits but also restore harmony, courage and spiritual strength during Chaitra Navratri 2026.

Malvinder Kang’s remarks on Finance Bill 2026: Many Hollow Claims, But Ground Reality Tells a Different Story

Malvinder Kang

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Member of Parliament Malvinder Singh Kang launched a scathing attack on the Union Government while speaking on the Finance Bill 2026, stating that the government’s claims of economic strength and reforms over the last decade stand completely disconnected from the ground reality.

Kang said that while the Finance Minister has made tall claims about economic progress, the real picture of the country’s economy is deeply concerning. “If we look at the last ten years, inflation is at one of the highest levels in the country’s history, and the Indian Rupee has weakened drastically, crossing alarming level of 90 against the US Dollar. The same people who once promised petrol at ₹60 have now pushed prices beyond ₹100, with diesel also becoming increasingly expensive,” he said.

Highlighting the plight of farmers, Kang said that the promise of doubling farmers’ income has completely failed. “In the last decade, instead of income doubling, input costs have doubled or even tripled. From pesticides to fertilizers, everything has become costlier, pushing farmers into deeper distress,” he added.

He further pointed out the stark contrast between macroeconomic claims and individual prosperity. “We are told India is among the top five economies in the world, but our per capita income ranking has slipped to 142. Poverty is increasing, and inequality is widening,” Kang said.

Raising the issue of corporate favoritism, Kang alleged that loans worth over ₹16 lakh crore of big corporates have been written off as NPAs, while farmers continue to struggle even for Minimum Support Price (MSP) guarantees. “This clearly shows who the government stands with,” he remarked.

Kang also strongly criticized the Agniveer scheme, calling it a blow to the youth of the country. “Young people who once prepared to serve the nation in the armed forces are now left uncertain about their future. This policy has pushed many towards frustration and gangsterism,” he said, adding that regions like Haryana are witnessing a worrying trend where unemployed youth are drifting in the wrong direction.

On international trade, Kang raised serious concerns about the India-US trade discussions and their potential impact on Indian farmers. “This deal is a direct attack on the livelihood of our farmers, especially those involved in dairy, apple farming in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, and maize producers. Instead of strengthening our agricultural backbone, the government is exposing farmers to unfair global competition,” he warned.

He also highlighted the issue of cross-border trade through Punjab. “Trade worth thousands of crores continues through Mumbai-Karachi routes benefiting big corporates, but the Amritsar-Lahore (Wagah Border) trade route remains shut. If opened, it can transform the economic condition of farmers across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana,” Kang said. “The reason it remains closed is clear, because it would empower ordinary farmers instead of big corporate houses.”

Taking on the government over social security, Kang criticized the lack of any concrete step towards restoring the Old Pension Scheme (OPS). “There is no provision to ensure post-retirement security for employees. The government has failed to provide stability to the common man’s future,” he said.

He further alleged that the weakening of welfare schemes like MGNREGA has severely impacted rural livelihoods. “MGNREGA was a lifeline for millions of labourers, but its dilution has taken away basic income security from the poorest sections,” Kang stated.

Summing up his remarks, Kang said, “Scrapping MGNREGA is an attack on labourers, the Agniveer scheme is an attack on youth and employment, and trade policies like the India-US deal are an attack on farmers’ livelihoods. The country cannot move forward on the basis of media narratives and hollow claims. Real development will only happen when the farmer who feeds the nation, youth who protects the borders, and the worker who builds the economy are secured and empowered.”

Punjab’s Youngest Beneficiary, 1-Year-Old Child Receives Life-Saving Care Under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna

Punjab News

With a growing number of newborns and young children accessing treatment under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, the Punjab Government under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is ensuring that medical care begins without delay during critical moments.

In Sri Muktsar Sahib, a 1-year-old child, Khwaish, was admitted with pneumonia requiring urgent medical attention. In many such cases earlier, families would have had to arrange funds, complete documentation, or wait for approvals before treatment could begin. However, under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, that gap has been removed.

With the Sehat Card already in place, treatment was initiated immediately at Deep Hospital under Dr. Monika Garg, without any upfront payment. The family did not have to arrange money or go through verification steps, allowing doctors to begin treatment at a critical time. In cases involving young children, even short delays can lead to complications, but immediate access to treatment ensured that the child received timely care and recovered safely.

Similar instances are being reported from districts such as Sangrur and Mansa, where newborns requiring specialised care, including treatment for low birth weight and other critical conditions, are receiving medical attention under the scheme without financial barriers. The increasing number of such cases reflects how access to treatment is becoming faster and more seamless for families across Punjab.

Highlighting the impact of the scheme, Punjab Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Balbir Singh said, “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna ensures that treatment is not delayed by financial or administrative hurdles. In cases like this, where a young child required urgent care, even a short delay can have serious consequences. The scheme removes that risk entirely.”

The scheme provides cashless health coverage of up to ₹10 lakh per family annually, enabling access to treatment across empanelled government and private hospitals. With more than 26 lakh Sehat Cards already issued, patients are accessing treatment at over 900 empanelled hospitals, supported by more than 2,300 medical packages.

The growing number of newborn and child cases being treated under the scheme reflects a shift towards faster, more accessible healthcare delivery, where treatment begins without financial hesitation. The Punjab Government continues to encourage residents to enrol for the Sehat Card at designated centres to avail cashless treatment benefits under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna.
