IPL 2020: KKR bowlers will trouble CSK batsmen says, Rahul Tripathi

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) made a brilliant comeback in their previous match against Delhi Capitals in an extremely close game but failed to win. Rahul Tripathi played his first game of the season and scored a brilliant 36 runs in 16 deliveries.

KKR had played their first two matches of this year’s IPL in Abu Dhabi where they failed to register a win. They will face Chennai Super Kings at Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. CSK won their previous game and came back in winning ways.

KKR’s lost their previous game against Delhi Capitals “Everyone is very positive, it is important to learn from your mistakes. There were lots of positives (in the match against DC), we are just looking forward to the next game. There is not much time between games in the IPL and you always have to be at your best. It is all about one victory and momentum can come back to you,” said Tripathi.

“It is an important game for us. Chennai won their last game, they have the momentum. We will be looking for a good start against them. Chennai are always a strong side in the IPL, an experienced side. If we play to the best of our abilities I am sure we will be on the winning side.”

KKR batsman Rahul Tripathi believes that their bowlers are much stronger and have the ability to keep CSK batsmen under pressure.

“We are coming from a game in Sharjah. The last time we played in Abu Dhabi we did really well, all the bowlers contributed and we have been practicing here for a long time,” said Tripathi in a virtual press conference ahead of Wednesday’s match.

“It is like a home game for us. We have experience of playing here and all the bowlers are doing here. I am sure they know what lengths to bowl on this wicket. It is also a big ground, completely different from the one in Sharjah. So, I think our bowlers will give a tough time to the CSK batsmen.”

There were a lot of scuffles in the protest when his caravan reached the Haryana border. But later on, he was allowed to enter in Haryana after the officials ordered the cops to do so.

Earlier Rahul targeted PM Modi for remaining quiet for a number of issues which included farm bills, the Hathras rape case, and the India-China border dispute.

He also questioned PM Modi for not conducting a single press-conference in the last 6 years. Rahul has already cleared Congress’s stance on the stand on the farmers. He highlighted that the farm bills will end up destroying the existing structures of food and security for the farmers in the country.

Rahul Gandhi made scathing remarks on the recent India-China border standoff, by accusing the central government of poor handling of the situation. He accused PM Modi for gifting 1200 square kilometers of land to China just to save his image.

He also questioned PM Modi for not conducting a single press-conference in the last 6 years.

“Why don’t you call him (PM Modi) for a press conference like this. Talk to him. Why is he scared of you guys? I will tell you why. He is scared of media and China for the same reason – both can spoil his image. He is just obsessed with his image, not concerned about what’s happening in the country.”

Earlier in July Rahul Gandhi made a similar statement where he questioned PM Modi of saving his image “focus on image building”. “PM fabricated a fake strongman image to come to power. It was his biggest strength. It is now India’s biggest weakness,” he had tweeted.

“I know the Prime Minister is an opponent. My responsibility is to ask questions and put pressure on him so that he does his work. His responsibility is to give the vision,” he is heard saying in a video he shared.

JP Nadda BJP chief had also pitched his voice against Rahul in July: “In recent years, be it Doklam or the present, RahulGandhi  prefers briefings from the Chinese instead of believing India’s armed forces.”

Later on, Rahul cleared Congress’s stance on the stand on the farmers too. He highlighted that the farm bills will end up destroying the existing structures of food and security for the farmers in the country.

IAF well positioned to take on any threat from china

India is militarily very well-positioned, strongly deployed and ready to take on any threat from China in eastern Ladakh and elsewhere along the frontier, said Air Chief Marshal R K S Bhadauria on Monday.

“There is no question of China getting the better of us,” said the IAF chief, adding that there were “no indications” as yet of a collusive China-Pakistan threat in the ongoing military confrontation in eastern Ladakh since early-May.

“We have made deployment in all relevant areas; Ladakh is a small part,” he said.

The Air Chief Marshal said the IAF is “very well-positioned” to deal with any action along the northern border. Induction of Rafale jets has given us an operational edge, he added.

On possible use of Pakistani air bases by China, the IAF Chief said it would mean a collusive threat and “we will tackle it”. “We are aware they are cooperating closely. There is a significant threat, but so far there is no such indication that they are deployed for a two-front war,” he said.

On the delivery schedule of Rafale jets, he said five planes were expected beginning November. “Next year, the first squadron will be ready and by 2023, both squadrons (36 planes) will be ready and inducted,” he said.
