Bhagwant Mann: The Punjab government, led by CM Bhagwant Mann, has stepped up efforts to safeguard Non-Resident Indian Punjabis and has received over 430 complaints from residents abroad. The complaints include property disputes, family problems, financial grievances and other issues impacting the diaspora.

Redressal on a fast track

The government’s drive is to make redressal of grievances faster and more transparent. Punjab is working to develop a more robust mechanism for NRI protection to assure overseas Punjabis that their issues will be addressed and pursued. “It’s not just about recording complaints, it’s about getting them through the system quickly.”

The importance to the diaspora is

Punjab is living abroad are often closely connected to their home state, particularly concerning land, inheritance and family property. A dedicated complaint handling system can reduce the fear that disputes will remain unresolved. For many of them, the ability to seek help through government channels is a big confidence boost.

Administrative message

The move is also a signal that the Mann government wants to come across as proactive on diaspora issues. The NRI communities form an important part of the social and economic fabric of Punjab, and measures that protect their interests can enhance trust between the state and the Punjabis abroad. It is also an attempt to show governance as responsive and citizen-oriented.

What else to see

The question now is how fast they are resolved and whether the state puts in place more targeted safeguards in property and legal cases. If the system produces visible results, it might become a model for better handling of diaspora grievances and might encourage more NRIs to come forward with their grievances.

‘Save Fuel, Use Public Transport’ MP CM Mohan Yadav Takes Delhi Metro From Shivaji Stadium to Aerocity, Leads By Example

Mohan Yadav: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took a quick spin in a Delhi Metro from Shivaji Stadium to Aerocity, transforming the mundane commute into a public message on fuel conservation and urban mobility. The move attracted immediate attention because it was a political leader choosing a practical transport option over a private vehicle.

WHY THE RIDE IS IMPORTANT

“By opting for the metro, the importance of public transport in curbing fuel consumption, decongesting roads and reducing travel stress in busy cities was underscored,” Yadav said. The ride also carried a symbolic message that public leaders can foster sustainable habits not only through speeches but through personal action. Such a choice is rare in a city like Delhi, which still struggles with pollution and traffic hold-ups.

Public & leaders examples

The phrase “lead by example” is apt for the moment because the CM’s metro ride matched with a simple civic idea – if more people use public transport, the pressure on roads and fuel consumption can come down. Public figures often set an example and this type of visible action can help make a policy message more relatable to everyday commuters.

Public response and wider appeal

The trip attracted a lot of attention as it married political visibility with a communal commuter experience. For many residents, it confirmed that metro travel is not only efficient, but also respectable and convenient for short journeys through the city. It also suggested that public transport could be presented as the first option, not a last resort.

A simple take away is

The ride’s larger message is simple: conserving fuel and supporting public transportation are practical steps, not just slogans. Mohan Yadav’s metro ride gave a human face to the message and made a short ride a small but effective case of urban responsibility.

Is It Harder To Control Cancer Risk During Pregnancy? Doctor Reveals Unusual Case Of Recovery Without Standard Treatment

Cancer Risk Higher in Pregnancy

Pregnancy brings major changes in a woman’s body, and it can also raise concerns about hidden health risks. One such concern is the possibility of cancer appearing or progressing during pregnancy. In a recent discussion, a doctor shared an unusual case that has sparked debate around cancer risk and its management during this sensitive phase. The case involves a pregnant woman diagnosed with breast cancer who reportedly recovered without undergoing standard medical treatments like chemotherapy or surgery.

According to the doctor, the situation raised an important question about whether cancer risk becomes higher or harder to control during pregnancy.

Unusual Case Shared By Doctor

In a YouTube video, Dr Tarang Krishna explained a rare case involving a pregnant patient diagnosed with breast cancer. He said that the patient continued her pregnancy while undergoing treatment and did not terminate it. Interestingly, the doctor claimed she did not receive chemotherapy, radiation therapy or surgery during her treatment.

He stated that the patient completed a gentle treatment approach and later delivered the baby normally. According to his account, both mother and child remained healthy and follow-up reports showed no signs of cancer.

The doctor described the approach as “gentle” and suggested that the treatment used had no harmful side effects on the baby.

Cancer Risk Higher In Pregnant Women?

According to general medical understanding and sources like the National Cancer Institute (NCI), pregnancy itself does not directly increase the risk of developing cancer. However, certain cancers may be detected later because symptoms can overlap with normal pregnancy changes.

In some cases, hormonal changes and increased blood flow during pregnancy may influence how certain cancers behave, but this does not mean cancer risk is higher in all women during pregnancy.

Doctors usually stress early diagnosis and careful monitoring when any suspicious symptoms appear. While rare cases exist, the overall medical consensus is that pregnancy does not significantly increase cancer risk, but it can sometimes delay detection.

This is why awareness, timely screening and expert consultation remain crucial in managing any potential cancer risk during pregnancy.

Bhagwant Mann Govt Slams Centre Over Fuel Price Hike and Minimal MSP Increase, Call It Attack on Farmers’ Income

Bhagwant- Mann

Bhagwant Mann: The Punjab government, led by Bhagwant Mann, has strongly criticised the Centre over the recent hike in petrol and diesel prices alongside a marginal increase in Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy. The state government has termed this policy move as unfair to farmers and a direct blow to their income stability.

Strong Reaction From Punjab Government

The Bhagwant Mann government stated that increasing fuel prices while offering only a small MSP hike puts additional financial burden on farmers. Since agriculture is highly dependent on diesel for irrigation, transport, and farming activities, any fuel price rise directly impacts production costs. Officials argued that such decisions reduce the real benefit of MSP and fail to provide meaningful support to the farming community.

Bhagwant Mann: Concerns Over Farmers’ Income

According to the government’s stance, the marginal MSP increase of ₹72 per quintal on paddy is not sufficient to compensate for rising input costs. With diesel, fertilisers, and transport expenses increasing, farmers are left with reduced profit margins. The state leadership highlighted that this combination of fuel inflation and low MSP revision effectively weakens farmers’ earnings instead of strengthening them.

Political Criticism of Centre’s Policy

Bhagwant Mann and his government have accused the Centre of ignoring ground realities faced by farmers. They claim that policy decisions are not aligned with agricultural costs and rural economic conditions. The state government has called for more balanced policies that ensure fair pricing and genuine income protection for farmers.

Viral Video: Man Bumps Into Woman While Exiting The Lift, She Slaps Him Hard, What He Does Next Creates Social Media Debate

Google

Viral Video: A viral lift video circulating across social media has triggered intense debate after showing a woman slap a man moments before he appears to hit her back during a confrontation near an elevator. The clip is short and chaotic but like many viral internet moments, those few seconds were enough to split viewers almost instantly.

According to the circulating footage, the incident begins when the man bumps into the woman while exiting or standing near the lift area. What initially looks like an awkward collision suddenly escalates after the woman appears to slap him. Instead of backing away, the man reacts physically as well, and that response is what pushed the video into full-blown online controversy.

Social Media Could Not Agree on What They Were Watching

The reactions online have been sharply divided. Some viewers argued the man reacted out of instinct after being struck first. In comment sections across multiple platforms, people framed his response as retaliation or self-defense rather than a planned attack. A number of users questioned why public discussions often change depending on who initiates physical contact.Others strongly disagreed.

Critics argued that hitting back only made the situation worse and turned a brief confrontation into outright violence. Many comments focused on the danger of responding emotionally during public conflicts, especially when tempers rise within seconds.

And then there was a third group , people frustrated by the internet itself.

Divided Comments Added Fuel to the Debate

Viral Video: The reactions online became nearly as viral as the clip itself. Several users defended the man strongly, with some saying the woman “deserved” the reaction because she acted aggressively first. A few comments even mocked what they described as misuse of gender-based sympathy online.

Others criticised the man harshly, especially viewers who believed he touched the woman inappropriately during the confrontation. One user accused him of crossing a serious line and demanded action against him.

Karuppu Review: ‘Old Template Story But…’ Is This Comeback Suriya Fans Have Been Waiting For? Trisha Krishnan Underutilised!

Suriya’s much-awaited film Karuppu has finally been released, and early audience reactions are already flooding social media. The RJ Balaji directorial arrived after facing last-minute delays due to financial issues. Now that it is in theatres, viewers are discussing everything from Suriya’s performance to the film’s familiar storyline.

The fantasy action-thriller blends courtroom drama, folklore, and mass action. While many fans are calling it a solid comeback vehicle for Suriya, others feel the narrative follows a predictable template, even though the presentation and emotional beats manage to hold attention.

Karuppu Review: What Early Viewers Said

Early viewers have shared detailed reactions online, praising the film’s energy while pointing out its familiar structure. One viewer wrote, “Honestly speaking… This is the comeback that Suriya fans have been waiting for for a long time. The core idea of Karuppasami standing up for the people against injustice, is a mass work. It is an old template story… but they have made it engaging through presentation, screenplay and emotions.”

The viewer added, “The first half is built up steadily and the interval fight theatre explodes. The theatrical moments, elevation scenes, emotional payoffs in the second half are all a treat for the fans. Sai Abhyankkar BGM literally lifts the entire film. In some scenes, the music gives goosebumps more than the visuals. Suriya Anna has performed every frame on the screen with fire, emotion, anger — everything is balanced and performed with vintage energy. Anagha Ravi is decent. Trisha & Swasika characters deserve better utilisation.”

Another viewer said: “#Karuppu is a fairly engaging commercial entertainer that blends action, courtroom drama, rural folklore, and social themes into a mass-oriented cinematic package. Director RJ Balaji succeeds in delivering several impactful theatrical moments, even though the film occasionally struggles with consistency in execution.”

Suriya’s performance is being widely discussed as the biggest strength of the film. His mix of intensity, emotion, and mass appeal has connected strongly with fans in key moments.

Trisha Krishnan plays a supporting legal role, but several viewers feel her character could have been better written. The supporting cast, including Swasika and others, adds depth but doesn’t always get enough screen time.

The background score and action staging are also receiving attention, especially for enhancing the film’s emotional and theatrical impact.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam On June 21 Means Millions Of Students Must Relive The Pressure, 5 Coping Strategies Explained

NEET -UG- 2026
Google

NEET UG 2026: The declaration for the NEET UG 2026 re-test exam on June 21 has once again subjected millions of students to emotional and academic pressure. Candidates who had completed the preparation phase need to prepare again and cope with increased levels of stress.

Why Has The Re-Exam Raised Anxiety Among Students?

Competitive exams such as NEET are already notorious for their extremely stressful nature owing to intense competition and fewer medical seats. A new examination declaration increases stress because students need to plan a new revision timetable and motivate themselves while getting over the previous test. Continuous talks about exam fairness, paper leaks, and rumors spread via social media have made the situation even more stressful.

5 Coping Techniques That Students May Consider

1. Concentrate On Revising Rather Than Last-Minute Panic Studies

The students must refrain from attempting to study totally new chapters at the last minute. Revision of key topics, diagrams, formulas, and often asked chapters in NCERT textbooks may prove beneficial for the students.

2. Stop Using Too Much Social Media

Constant browsing through the exams’ results, cut-offs, rumors, and speculations may increase the anxiety levels among students. Thus, it is advised to rely only on official sources in this regard.

3. Ensure Proper Sleeping Patterns And Nutrition

An insufficient number of hours for sleep as well as erratic dietary habits may decrease one’s concentration capacity and cognitive function. The students must have a good diet and sufficient sleep time.

4. Give Mock Tests Calmly

The mock tests would be of great use to the students for restoring their exam confidence and improving time management. But according to experts, they must not be emotionally dependent on those scores.

5. Speak Up About Your Concerns Openly

NEET UG 2026: Open discussions with parents, mentors, and peers about your concerns would help you stay emotionally stable throughout your exams. Emotional support plays an important role here indeed.

Beijing’s Cold Silence On Iran Fuels New Theory, Donald Trump May Already Be Reshaping Global Alliances, Check

Donald- Trump
Google

Donald Trump: China’s restrained response to the Iran crisis has triggered fresh debate over shifting global alliances. Experts believe Beijing may be prioritising economic stability and strategic interests over openly supporting Tehran, while Donald Trump’s diplomatic influence is being seen as a possible factor behind the changing geopolitical landscape.

China’s Muted Iran Response Raises Eyebrows

China’s soft response to the Iran situation has surprised global observers. Despite being a major ally and oil buyer of Iran, Beijing avoided openly supporting Tehran and instead called for peace and restraint. This cautious approach has sparked speculation that China is trying to avoid tensions with the United States.

Trump’s strategy may be working behind the scenes

Political experts believe Donald Trump’s tough diplomatic stance may already be influencing global powers. Reports suggest China is focusing more on economic stability and trade security rather than fully backing Iran during the crisis.

A Shift From Old Alliances To Flexible Power Deals?

The current situation shows that global politics may be changing rapidly. Countries are now prioritising business interests, oil supply, and economic survival over traditional political alliances. China’s balanced approach towards both Iran and the US reflects this new strategy.

Strait Of Hormuz Becomes The Real Battleground

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical oil routes. Any disruption there could impact global fuel prices and trade. This is one major reason why China appears focused on maintaining stability instead of escalating tensions.

Why Beijing Still Refuses To Fully Back Tehran?

China seems unwilling to become deeply involved in Iran’s conflict because it wants to protect its economy and global trade ties. Analysts say Beijing prefers strategic neutrality instead of risking confrontation with Western powers.

Global Power Equations May Already Be Changing

Donald Trump: Many experts now believe the world is entering a new geopolitical phase where economic interests matter more than old alliances. Beijing’s silence on Iran is being seen as a sign that major global powers are quietly reshaping their strategies.

It remains one of the highest-grossing Marathi films of 2026 so far, with steady audience interest in key centres.

The film is now being tracked for its lifetime potential against the all-time Marathi benchmark set by Sairat. To do that, it will require stronger sustained collections.

At present, Raja Shivaji is placed in the successful run category. It has delivered strong early momentum and decent occupancy trends, especially in its first week.

The final verdict will depend on whether the film can push significantly beyond the Rs 100 crore mark in its full theatrical run. For now, it stands as one of the strongest Marathi releases of the year.
