3. Premature Brain Maturation and Cognitive Changes

Brain imaging studies have found that children with very high screen time tend to face disruption of the normal cognitive development or premature aging of the brain. This can impact self-control, staying attentive on task and planning challenging for children.

4. Emotional and Behavioural Problems

Excessive phone and social media use is associated with higher rates of emotional volatility, depression, stress and anxiety. Constant notifications, cyber-bullying and comparisons with others online can make young children feel lonely, rejected or stressed leading to mood swings, irritability and increased aggression.

The startling incident happened on Sunday night in a lift behind the blood bank at AIIMS Bhopal. A young male wearing a mask boarded the elevator and struck up a pleasant chat with the woman, who was identified as Varsha Soni, an attendant in the gynaecology department. He abruptly rushed when the elevator approached the third floor, grabbing her gold mangalsutra and chain before running away.

Hospital. Now that the snatching’s CCTV footage has gone viral on social media, many internet users are worried by the inadequate security at one of India’s best hospitals.

According to reports and eyewitness statements, the culprit was able to swiftly flee through the IPD gate because there was no security guard in the vicinity of the elevator area at the time of the occurrence. Before a security officer found her and set off the alarm, the victim remained terrified and by herself close to the elevator for some minutes.

Thalapathy Vijay Net Worth: The Madras High Court has ruled in favour of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) against KVN Productions, the producers of Vijay Thalapathy’s last film Jana Nayagan. The Court set aside verdict of the single judge on providing censor certificate to the Vijay’s movie, which was originally scheduled for release on January 9 before Pongal festivities.

Today’s Court Verdict On Jana Nayagan

The bench of Justice G Arul Murugan and Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava referred the matter back to the single judge for a fresh consideration. It was observed by the Court that the principles of natural justice were not fully adhered in the earlier proceedings. The Court added that CBFC was not given ample chance to present its case fully.

It was clarified by the court that it is not imposing any ban on the movie nor is closing the door on the movie’s certification in any way whatsoever. The Court is allowed the movie’s producers to amend their writ petition, if necessary.

What’s The Controversy?

The CBFC did not issued a censor certificate to the Vijay movie even after it completed the usual screening process. A U/A certificate was recommended for the movie by the examining committee after certain cuts were suggested. The producers made all the required cuts as per CBFC suggestions yet the process was stalled after it reached a revising committee.

Dhamaal 4 release date has been delayed once again. The Ajay Devgn-starrer comedy has moved its release date to avoid a major box office clash. This time, the makers have stepped away from Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, which is expected to release in June.

Earlier planned as an Eid 2026 release, Dhamaal 4 is now set to arrive in July 2026, marking another change in its release plan.

Why Dhamaal 4 Release Date Keeps Shifting

Dhamaal 4 was first scheduled to hit theatres on March 20, 2026, during the Eid weekend. However, the makers soon decided against it. Big releases like Dhurandhar 2 and KGF star Yash’s Toxic were expected to dominate the box office, which added to the pressure

As a result, the film was pushed to June 2026. Later, on January 17, 2026, the makers announced a new release date of June 12, 2026, to avoid clashing with Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic.

Even then, the release window proved risky. With Jailer 2 entering the same period, the makers chose to delay the film once more. To stay clear of the Rajinikanth-starrer, Dhamaal 4 has now been postponed to July 3, 2026.

T-Series confirmed the latest release date by sharing a behind-the-scenes photo featuring Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar and director Indra Kumar. Sharing the BTS pic, the makers wrote, “When chaos meets comedy, you know it’s Dhamaal time. Makers have chosen the auspicious date to unleash the ultimate family entertainer in theatres on 3rd July 2026.”

More About The Film

Nikki Tamboli rejected The 50 when she was first approached for Farah Khan‘s reality show. The actor, who will now appear on the show alongside her boyfriend Arbaz Patel, admitted she was unsure about the format and the level of competition involved.

Ahead of the show’s premiere, Nikki opened up about why she said NO at first, what convinced her later and why The 50 feels different from other reality shows she has done.

Why Nikki Tamboli Rejected The 50 At First

Nikki revealed that she had no clarity about the show’s concept when the offer came in. At the same time, she was dealing with health issues and did not feel ready to commit.

She said, “When I didn’t know the concept, I said no to this show. I was approached for the show in November when Arbaz came out of Rise And Fall. I was suffering from dengue. Since I had no idea what it was, I said I don’t want to do this show.”

Even when the makers requested a meeting, Nikki was reluctant and asked Arbaz to go instead.

She added, “They said – Come once, have a meeting at Endemol’s office. I told them Arbaz would come, and he’d do the meeting because I was not interested.”

Her hesitation also came from the scale of the show. With 50 contestants, Nikki feared that competition could quickly turn into rivalry.

She explained, “The 50 means 50 contestants. I didn’t want to come because, for me, competition se zyada dushmani ho jati hai show me. Mein kisi ko competitor maanti hi nahi hoon. Rivalry itni ho jaati hai kya hi competition maanoo kisi ko.”

What Finally Changed Nikki Tamboli’s Decision

Despite rejecting the offer initially, Nikki said the fan-focused format of the show changed her mind. Unlike regular reality shows, The 50 allows fans to benefit directly from the winnings.

She shared, “It’s a payback to the fans. Jo bhi paisa aap kamaane wale ho, aapke fans ko milega.”

She also revealed a major highlight – a fan can win Rs 50 lakh. “There’s a chance of a fan winning Rs 50 lakh. The only reason I did Marathi Bigg Boss (Season 5) was my fans, but I couldn’t give them anything. Here I am getting that chance.”

Coming from a non-film background, Nikki said the show felt like the right opportunity to give back. “I am from a non-filmy background… accepting it, appreciating it, criticising the haters – all of that is thanks to my fans. This is the only reason I have done this show.”

T20 World Cup 2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has threatened to boycott the entire T20 World Cup 2026 or its Group A fixture with India after the International Cricket Council (ICC) decided to suspend Bangladesh from Group C.

On January 27, the PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif are likely to meet to take the final call on the country’s participation in the T20 World Cup 2026 starting from February 7 in India and Sri Lanka.

According to media reports, Pakistan is unhappy with how the ICC has sidelined with India and deprived Bangladesh of its legitimate rights. It seems that Pakistan is not happy with the step-motherly treatment of the Bangla Tigers by the world’s governing body of cricket.

Pakistan can decide to forfeit its match against the current T20 World Cup Champions India or boycott the entire tournament.
