In a public statement, Cheema highlighted several programmes undertaken by the Punjab government, including free electricity for eligible consumers, the Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana, the Yudh Nashian Virudh anti-drug campaign, promotion of sports, and improvements in public services and civic infrastructure.
